To whom it may concern, Really disappointed to have to send this , but I'm not happy about my stay here , firstly I do not rate this a five star hotel, I've been to three star hotels in the past , and staff couldn't do enough for us , the entertainment has been awful , our 3 star hotel was amazing entertainment with foam party also, it was so much fun , German people have been served before us , even though we've been at the bar first , German people get treated better than us , the food has been awful also , you cater more for Spanish and German culture people, we're all inclusive yet we only had toast in the morning with scrambled egg , al we've had is jacket potato from snack bar , and wraps from Roberts Coffee, two nights wed 11th June to 18th june they wasn't serving food they said no chef and most stuff they'd ran out off so for two nights we've had nothing to eat , so we just had milkshake. We was told one milkshake per person, at a time , which is fine , but I asked for 2 one for my mother, as she'd fell and hurt her knee , as pool steps are very slippery near the icecream kiosk, several people slipped , but they said if your mum wants one she needs to fetch one , I explained she'd fell over and hurt her knee , but they said sorry she has to get it , but then a German man asked for five milkshake and was served all five milkshake in takeaway holders so he could carry them , Cocktails were awful, and was told for malibou & coke we had to pay extra 5€ per drink , any drinks paid for werereally nice , someone even fell over the drainage slabs yesterday that came up , someone took photo off that , slabs near pool broken dangerous, children in adults pools, other five star hotels don't allow children in adult pools , so the adults can relax , I work with children so I don't want to come away having children splash me run past me shouting screaming bumping into me , then Thursday evening I had to complain to reception staff as we noticed someone had poohed in the pool , which we have photo's off , no one else complained , staff shud be checking these things every evening. The pool was sorted , but wasn't emptied and refilled or closed off , the pooh was just ****** up ,There's also not enough parasols for every two sunbeds , it's my first holiday I've Ever paid for , thought I'd treat my mum , to give her a break , and honestly what a waste of money , we sent two emails to reception and not one email was replied to , the good thing about the place was the shops , shops gallor, in good area , and the coffee shop on pool level was nice with drinks and cake free , icecream was only on from 3pm till 5 pm .

Hotel facilities are very good, food and drink options are very good. Pool area is very good. Waiter service round pool and in bars as very good. Beach bar was very nice. Hotel rooms are comfortable and I liked the do not disturb/clean light within room, only con is noisy neighbours, maybe better soundproofing in rooms would make me give 5 stars. Other than the noise in rooms I have been very happy with my stay at Castival.
