Paloma Oceana

We got married in Paloma Oceana on 30/09/23 . It was our special day with family and friends . Hotel is absolutely amazing and we had really great hospitality before wedding and just after . Beautiful food and great entertainment. October fest was really great surprise . Hotel staff absolutely amazing . I couldn’t wish for better place to have our wedding .

Absolutely fantastic family holiday! We went with our 6 year old son and we all loved every minute. Hotel is lovely clean, comfortable rooms, plenty on offer in and around resort! Plenty of food choices on offer for everyone, we never tired of having good food whenever we fancied. Stay made even better by the staff Emre was always on hand when we needed anything. A fantastic person taking the time to get to know us and make our holiday the best! Kids club are amazing at what they do, but a shout out to our boys main lady Anastasia he absolutely loved getting to spend time with you. Fabice was always full of life, ready to make everyone just have a good time. Also to Ilhen in the ocean bar and Oilem poolside to make sure we had our choice of drinks. I would highly recommend using the spa treatments Ramazan got me a great deal on 6 massages and a hammam scrub, if you do I highly recommend Noni I looked forward to her at our every second day meets you are a lovely person and so great at what you do! We met some amazing families, which we are now able to share memories of a great holiday with. We can’t wait to return!

We have just returned from our stay at the Paloma Oceana & we weren't even back home for 12 hours before we booked up to go again next year! Everything about this hotel is fabulous. Room: The rooms are beautiful. Our room was decent in size but did become snug when we had the additional bed brought in for our 4yr old son. Absolutely perfect though for a couple. The air conditioning works a treat & Wi-Fi is great throughout. The mini fridge is stocked & the room is cleaned every day. There are things that could maybe be updated but they are extremely minor things such as the sealant around the shower for example. Food: Such great choices to suit all. There is such a wide variety, not only in the buffet restaurant but also in the beach restaurant. There are freezers filled with ice cream cones & lollies where you can help yourself during the day by the pools. The a la carte places were great too; we did Wabi Sabi, Quentine & Avare although Avare was definitely our favourite. Bars: Again, great variety to choose from including premium spirits & iced coffee. We had them every day by the pool! Pools: The pools are a really good size & there are more than enough loungers to go around. There wasn't one day that there wasn't spare loungers, although we did not go during half term so I cannot speak to how busy it gets then. The relax pool by reception is decent if you just want to chill & not have music in the background, whereas the pool at the bottom by the beach is great if you want a more social setting with games etc. Entertainment: We did not watch the shows every night but the ones we did see were fabulous. The time, effort & money that go into them are amazing - the Michael Jackson night was the BEST show we have seen at any all inclusive hotel - it was exceptional. Staff: I do not have enough superlatives for the staff at this hotel - they are an asset to the Paloma Oceana & went a long way to make our trip as good as it was. I would personally like to thank Furkan from the Piano bar, Tolgahan from the Avare restaurant & Sadik from the Main buffet who all went above & beyond making us all feel special & welcome, especially our son. They all remembered his name & would always ask him how he was doing & high five him. Furkan is his new best friend! This hotel gets a 10/10 from us - run to book it, don't walk.

We had not had a holiday in 4 years and we had been to this hotel before so we decided to come back. The hotel is very good and comfortable with great food to choose from. The rooms are very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Nur at guest relations was very helpful and friendly to help us out with questions we had with a smile every time. We highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to return here when we decide to come back to here for our next holiday. Trevor and Debbie.

If you are thinking of booking this hotel, just do it!! We stayed here as a couple for a weeks holiday at the end of April and this hotel blew all of our expectations. The hotel, pools and grounds are stunning and always kept spotlessly clean. Each member of staff we came across were polite, friendly and always had a smile on their face. We had a garden room which was spacious and always kept clean. The mini bar was restocked daily with beer and soft drinks, which was free of charge. Food at this hotel was the best all inclusive food I've had so far. The buffet always had a wide choice of different dishes, which were topped up quickly. Our favourite was the chicken wraps they made to order on one of the evenings. We tried the 3 al a carte restaurants which where included in our stay. All 3 were fantastic. The Wabi Sabi was the best Chinese food we have had! The snack bar on the beach was also a hit with us, we had homemade burgers with fries most days for lunch! They also had flatbreads, salads and pasta dishes. Each bar had a good selection of tasty cocktails, which we made our way through. Our favourite was the passionista! Also had soft drinks, beer and hot drinks. There were fridges next to all the bars with bottles of water which you could help yourself too, which we found very helpful! The private beach was also clean and always had sunbeds available. Shopping wise, there are rows of shops and a couple of supermarkets right outside the hotel. They all sell the same sort of thing, fake handbags, trainers, clothes etc, the quality is great. Be careful with the shops which don't have the prices shown as they will charge whatever they like! We didn't go to any markets as the shops outside the hotel had everything we wanted. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel in the future and will recommend to everyone we know! A bit late writing this review, we were at Paloma Oceana end of April and beginning of May. We had a wonderful stay, location was really good, shops and good restaurants near by. Our room was lovely much better then what it looked like on the pictures, food was excellent and had a variety, ok it got a bit repetative after a good few days but there are restaurants outside the hotel for variety which we didn't mind trying out. Staff were brilliant, Abbas who checked us in on reception was informative, Nur, the young lady on guest relations was so friendly and informative and was always at hand to help out, Onuk the minibar lad made sure we had enough coffee and water every morning, Gulbaynaz form house keeping was such a lovely lady always smiling and making our room up everday just the way I liked it, Ilhaan from Curio, lovely lad, made sure our steaks were cooked how we liked it and gave us a romantic sitting on both occasion of having the meal at Curio. Taliep who looked afer us at the Cabana on two of the days. Such a lovely bloke, always smiling and gave us a five star treatment, lastly the bellboys who carried our heavy bags down were so pleasent. Overall a defo five star hotel with well kept grounds, cleanliness was exceptional and brilliant staff. 👏🏼 nothing to be disappointed about an no complaints. Found the right hotel and will definitely be going back. Thank you all to Paloma oceana for making our stay so welcoming and enjoyable.

It’s generally a lovely hotel, decent food with a variety of options and there is loads to do for families. They have a lovely beach, the hotel is right in the middle of the ***** too. I will say ultimately, some of the staff, the younger women ultimately, need to be retrained in customer service. I am very aware that visiting a different country, that not everyone will speak English , but they are very fluent in German otherwise. The language barrier proved to be difficult for a good portion of our stay. I asked for a biscuit for my daughter in English at their on-site cafe and the look the worker had give me, you would have thought I’d insult her family. She then shooed me to the biscuit displayed to serve another customer who she was all to happy to serve. I even tried to get my Translator app up but she had no interest or patience to listen. There was also another front of house worker who was exceptionally dismissive when showing us to our table at the Turkish Restaurant. Really brought the experience down for us personally and I can’t say I’d stay here again in a hurry. I’m not confident I would class this as a 5 star hotel as a result.

Clean hotel, lovely staff, they literally couldn’t of made us feel any more welcome, exceptional kids entertainment team, especially emre!! Loads to do, not over crowded, pool slides are a must! Drinks are top quality and named branded ones included. The piano bar is really nice and chilled out, the food is hit and miss that’s the only reason it’s not 5 out of 5, I would say more options to snack on at night and it would be the icing on the cake but don’t let my pettiness ruin it for you it’s each to there own. The management bent over backwards for us when a cat bit my son, over £150 for injection and the manager insisted he would pay! Even got us a taxi there and back! Shopping opposite the hotel is a must too and la Perla is a local restaurant that’s a must try! Overall I’ve been coming to turkey for 20 years this is in the top 2 without a doubt! Well from the moments we got off the coach we could tell this was going to be a fantastic break and it was. We arrived at 23:30 and as wen got off the coach we were met by a member of staff who collected our two 15 kg cases. Check in was over in seconds and we were taken to our garden room. As it was about midnight we went to the restaurant had a bowl of soup which was ample and went to bed. Our room was a garden room second floor, no complaints. Well stocked fridge massive comfortable bed air con and free safe but best of all very quiet oh and free wifi. Maid came in every day to change towels and re stock your fridge. We keep our room tidy so she made it even more tidy. The shower was very powerful, blasted call the sun cream off no bother. The grounds are immaculate and you will struggle to find any litter. Sunbeds are plentiful but may be it's because the season had just started, but impression is there are plenty around the pools. We used the pool next to the main building as it was very quiet also had a bar serving drinks hot and cold. The beach area is very clean loads of beds again no litter. Looks like the sand is raked every night. Lots of bins for litter and cig butts so please use them. There is a beach bar restaurant again serving hot cold drinks, it's a really pleasant area. We would spend the morning on the beach and afternoon at the pool. Lots to do on a night time plenty of options for bars you can actually do a pub crawl (JOKE) Terrace bar is nice but if you like indoors the piano bar is open 24 hrs. Entertainment was fine as the customers are multi national so is the entertainment so it is what it is. Food was ok, always something nice. Again as it's multi national they have to cater for everyone not one specific group. So if you like a full English for breakfast then sausage egg and chips for lunch followed by pie and chips for you evening meal it's not happening. Beach bar for lunch is nice and the staff work extremely hard to get you sorted quickly. They do pasta salads and burgers, the pasta was very nice. Alle carte is a must do, we did the Turkish restaurant and it was wonderful. Side old town is well worth a visit, we walked it there and back along the beach on to the promenade. It's a nice walk and well worth it as it's a wonderful town. You can get the dolmus stops outside the hotel for pick up and drop off. The hotel is situated in Komkoy and has it's own malls bars restaurant etc, so make sure you explore and have a good look round. The currency of choice seemed to be the euro as the lira is unstable at the moment so we took euro plus some lira for tips. You don't need to tip it's optional and your not put under any pressure but you can't help it as the service is outstanding. 100TL is about £2.30 so get some hundreds it seemed to be the norm. This has nothing to do with the wonderful Paloma oceana or the wonderful staff but be sure not to enter any tea shops or herb shops either in side or Komkoy. Sellin
