This property is very well maintained and rooms are clean, and very well-appointed with the needed comforts. We truly applaud the attention-to-detail and effort that the husband-and-wife owners have put into this bed-and-breakfast property. We arrived as it started to get colder and truly appreciated the warm heating in the rooms. Fantastic warm showers. An amazing bonus amenity was the electric toilets! We are also thankful to the lady boss for highlighting the first Huangshan Peak snow-fall on our last day of stay! Upon her encouragement we decided an impromptu climb up Huangshan a second time. We were glad we did! The snow scenery at Huangshan peak was AMAZING. THANK YOU!

A very cozy hotel with a warm, home-like atmosphere. The view from the window is just like a postcard — absolutely breathtaking. The location is great — only a 10-minute easy walk to the shuttle stop that takes you to the mountains. The hotel owner is incredibly friendly and kind. Upon arrival, he upgraded me to a more spacious and comfortable room at no extra charge. He also helped me plan the best route based on my available time and the weather conditions, and shared many interesting stories about the local history. The rooms are clean and well-equipped (hairdryer, air conditioning, toiletries). I had read in previous reviews about weak water pressure and unstable temperature, but everything worked perfectly for me. My room had a shower and a small bathtub. There’s also an option to order food to the hotel, but I chose to have dinner in different spots around town — there are plenty of cafes nearby, as well as pharmacies and supermarkets. At the end of my stay, the hotel owner arranged a transfer to the station for me, which cost five times less than a regular taxi ride. Even after I returned home, he reached out to check if I got back safely and if everything was alright. I’m very happy with the hotel and the quality of service. Thank you for the warm hospitality! The room far exceeded my expectations. At this price, especially during a holiday, it offers incredibly good value for money. Before checking in, I asked the owner for Huangshan travel routes, and they were incredibly patient and enthusiastic in explaining them, even offering pick-up and drop-off services. Upon arrival, I noticed the lively and neatly kept flowers and plants by the entrance, which immediately showed me how much care the owner puts into the guesthouse. The room was spacious and very clean. The individual small bottles of shampoo and shower gel felt more like a hotel's offering than a guesthouse's, a truly thoughtful touch. The mountain views were also stunning. You could easily spend a whole day just relaxing in the room and enjoying the scenery. The natural environment is excellent; we even had the good fortune to spot a protected animal ✌️ (the large white bird in photo 5). Breakfast was homemade by the owner. I woke up quite early and, finding the owner not yet in the dining area, simply went to the kitchen and helped myself. The kitchen was spotless 👍. The homemade breakfast was delicious. Suggestion: The bathtub felt a little wobbly. Reinforcing it would make the stay absolutely perfect!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my trip to Huangshan and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and incredibly cosy—equipped with everything I needed, from toiletries to bottled water. One of the highlights was the convenient and affordable transportation the hotel arranged to and from Huangshan North Railway Station. At just 35 RMB during the day and 40 RMB at night per person, it was significantly cheaper than ride-hailing options, which cost about 130 RMB at night. The service was amazing as the staff were warm, helpful, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. During check-in, the receptionist patiently explained the best route to take on the mountain and even shared helpful recommendations. I also appreciated the little touches, like being able to borrow walking sticks for free, which saved me from having to buy one. The location is excellent too—just a 10-minute walk to the Huangshan South Gate Entrance bus station, with a view of Huangshan right from the hotel. There is also a massage place and supermarket just a minute away, and the hotel has a restaurant which serves truly delicious food. Overall, this hotel made my Huangshan trip so much more comfortable and enjoyable.

Directly above Emerald Valley, turn right after entering the B&B area and you will be there within 20 meters. You can park your car in the large parking lot of Emerald Valley and just go up the path. When you leave, you can register with the boss to get free parking fees, and charging cars can be driven there with confidence. There is a large charging parking lot, which is super convenient for recharging energy. The temperature at night is about 20 degrees, and it is very pleasant to walk by the stream. The boss's place for dining is fresh and delicious. It is a treasure hotel.

Yun Mo Shan is a perfect hotel and a fantastic stay! The room is spotless, very well-equipped, has a great view on the river and right under Huang Shan. There’s a shop right off the lobby for your mountain prep, as they even have sun hats. To top of the great amenities we have to mention the very helpful staff. We had to leave early for the mountain and they even saw to our food for that trip! Amazing and unexpected. This really is a magnificent hotel.

General feeling: Very good environment, there is a stream outside, and a stream is also introduced into the homestay. The Hui-style architecture is more quiet and elegant. Environment: See Figure 1, the view inside the homestay, it seems that there is also a water bar. The boss introduced it to me, but I wanted to go out by myself at that time. Hygiene: Clean and tidy, the bedding is of good quality, and the small sofa is very soft to sit on. See Figure 2 and Figure 3. I think this price is very cost-effective. Although there are many homestays at the foot of Tangkou Mountain. But there is no such landscape, and the bedding facilities are not up to par. The only problem is that you can hear the sound of the stream at night, which depends on the weather of the day and personal preference. Service: Thank you very much for the breakfast made by the auntie, who prepared it outside at more than six o'clock. Green pepper and dried bamboo shoots noodles, and an egg for me, are much better than the 25 yuan in the Tangkou store! If you have time, I suggest everyone to try it. The location is located in Tangkou Town, three kilometers away from the Huangshan South Gate Transfer Center. You can get a taxi at 7 o'clock in the morning. It is recommended to ask the boss in advance for earlier travel. If you are not in a hurry or have your own car, it is more suitable. There is a parking lot outside the B&B. Figures 4 and 5 are the scenery taken while walking about one kilometer outside the B&B. The scenery is surrounded by clouds and mist and is very beautiful.

The manager of this guest house went out of his way to be helpful. I am solo traveler from Melbourne Australia and stayed in a spacious double room overlooking the mountain and river. Open the windows at night and all you hear is the mountain river. When I asked how to organise a bus to the railway station he got me a share car that picked me up from the accomodation for same price as the bus. Also Great advice as to which routes to take on the mountain. No one in this region speaks English you will need a translater app on you phone and WeChat to keep in communication with hotel manager

The room is incredibly convenient, located right next to the South Gate Transfer Center. It's spacious, features smart controls, and even includes a washing machine. The facilities are so comprehensive they surpass many well-known hotel chains. The surrounding area is bustling with restaurants and supermarkets, making dining and shopping extremely easy. What I truly want to emphasize is the owner's exceptional thoughtfulness. They've thoughtfully provided a foot bath basin with special foot soak tea, a shoe dryer, and even a clothes drying area conveniently placed near the AC vent. The complimentary trekking poles and raincoats were of excellent quality, and we were even gifted some delicious Huangshan biscuits! This hotel is practically tailor-made for anyone planning to hike Huangshan, and the best part is the price is incredibly reasonable. Having stayed in countless hotels near scenic areas, I can wholeheartedly say this one stands out and is highly recommended. I wish Deer Inn Hotel a prosperous future! (A minor note: a slight improvement in room cleanliness would make it absolutely perfect.) For all you adventurers heading to Huangshan, this is absolutely the place to stay!

The service is thoughtful, and there are special cars to pick you up for meals and to attractions. The environment is beautiful and elegant, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is very nice.
