Huangshan Lotus Hot Spring Hotel

The hotel's location is great, about a 10-minute walk from the transportation hub. We had an early start and missed breakfast, but after speaking with the front desk, they prepared a simple meal for us with bread and yogurt. The service was excellent. The hot spring bath was also very relaxing. Overall, it offers great value for money and I highly recommend it.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, purely because of its location. For its spot, the amenities still offer great value for money. However, this time I booked a king room and was given one facing the street. My much-anticipated holiday, a relaxing mountain escape in southern Anhui, was ruined by a night of noise. I understand that the Yellow Mountain entrance/exit sees a lot of traffic, but the reality is I didn't sleep a wink. I'd suggest upgrading the windows on the street-facing side to high-standard, soundproof ones – it would make a real difference. The breakfast selection also seemed a bit limited. Overall though, it's still consistently good and remains one of the top-tier options in this town. These are my honest thoughts, hope they're helpful.

The room was spotless, and the brand-name mattress was incredibly comfortable. The service was excellent.

The travel experience was excellent, and I was very satisfied with the hotel staff's service. Both the front desk lady and the cleaning auntie were always patient and smiling. The hotel breakfast was delicious and free, and I thoroughly enjoyed eating there these past few days. The hot spring every evening was also very comfortable; it would be even better if there were a few hotter pools. This accommodation offers great value for money!

The environment was quite nice, and they even offered a hot spring bath and breakfast for the kids. It was really relaxing after hiking Mount Huangshan.

Facilities: The facilities are quite old. Hygiene: The hygiene was very poor. The bathtub was incredibly dirty, with bacteria and fungi. It clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. When it rained, the dirty rainwater splashed directly onto the walls of the private hot spring. I strongly advise against staying here; it's very unsanitary. Environment: The environment was terrible. The bathtub was so dirty that both of us felt itchy after using it, and it lasted for several days. We went to the hospital and were diagnosed with a fungal infection. Furthermore, the bathtub was located by the window, offering no privacy at all. Neighbors could easily see in when they stood up, and residents on other rooftops and upper floors could also look directly in. I don't understand this design at all. Service: The service was just okay.

The room is quite spacious, and the location is excellent, being the closest to the South Gate of Huangshan. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast restaurant on the top floor, especially sitting outdoors and admiring the views of Huangshan. After hiking Huangshan, you can unwind in the hot springs, which have a wonderful atmosphere.

I arrived at the hotel at 10:30 AM due to travel, thinking it might be a hassle to check in so early. To my surprise, the landlady at the front desk was incredibly kind! She mentioned my booked room wasn't ready yet and upgraded me to an available deluxe room. The room was genuinely spacious. The best part? Soaking in the private hot spring in the courtyard right outside my room at 4:00 PM, I turned beet red from the heat – it was absolutely blissful, hahaha! 😂 (The photo was taken from my room entrance)
