We were surprised to find such a great hotel (seemingly just opened up for travellers on foreign passports) in such a remote city at the edge of the Taklamakan desert. Very friendly and extremely helpful staff at the front desk and a perfectly clean and well designed room with no fault at all. Comfortable bed, large modern shower, fast wifi and a good choice of tasty foods at the breakfast buffet make this hotel the place to stay in Hetian which we can strongly recommend.

Although taking a taxi from Hotan is very cheap, when you first come to the unfamiliar southern Xinjiang, this service is very worry-free and effortless. My brother Du Jiajia is very nice, give it a thumbs up (you need to contact the front desk at least one hour in advance to make a reservation for pick-up service) There is a dining area, gym, laundry room, and study bar on the second floor of the hotel. The room is equipped with a Xiaomi humidifier (very important in southern Xinjiang). Because it is a new store, it is clean and smell-free, which is rare (everyone knows it) In short, Atour at this price is unbeatable. If I come to Hotan next time, I will choose Atour again.
