Hotels near Spitting Cave in Honolulu

This is my daughter(5) and my favorite staycation spot for the last few years. The pool is wonderful, very relaxing and fun. The location is great for those who want to shop and dine at the Ala Moana Center. As we live on Oahu, Waikiki can be a bit too busy so if you are those who want to stay off of Waikiki, this is great as it’s at the edge of Waikiki, right by Ala Moana! We also enjoyed the free lei making with friends we made at the pool too.

This's my first time booking through ”trip” app. I glad i did. Our room is corner views where we got both the view from diamond head and oceanfront. This's the best experience i have. We arrived at the hotel on a Friday night around 7pm Hawaii time. Didn't expect they were doing fireworks around 8pm. I got to see it right from my window view. Omg.....i was breaking in tears where i haven't experience of fireworks this close before. I wish they allow video reviews in here where i can share my recording of the fireworks to you all. My daily views from my room are the best everyday and night throughout our stay. We walked around the beaches, restaurants and stores around the hotel area everynight before bed. Anyway, thank you for the awesome experience and memories. Love it so much and totally recommend.

It is newly decorated in a Japanese style. The fixed seaside view is that the beach is not a full sea view. Most of the Japanese customers also have exclusive services. It is friendly to children. There are children's pools and water play facilities, and there is also an infinity pool with an adult bar. It is great not to disturb each other. There is a Lawson convenience store, an ice cream shop, etc. just below, with complete facilities, it is worth living in!

What do I need to say? The completeness of the trip is greatly enhanced by the scenery of the sea and sky that changes every moment in the morning/lunch/dinner. The staff here are very friendly, and the shopping/restaurants are great, especially since it's in the center of the city. The sea can be reached on foot, so be sure to rent a sunbed/parasol/beach towel (free) on the first floor and go to Waikiki Beach 👍👍👍 My next trip will definitely be here 😍

I booked a room with two beds. There was no microwave and the fridge was very warm, I would not trust leaving food in there overnight. The room was alright although the hallways smelt like **** and there were stains on the carpet floor. Other then that, I enjoyed the view from the 15 floor. The hotel is also right in the middle of Waikiki and there is a trolley stop right across the street from the hotel. ( if you don’t want to pay a huge price for transportation I suggest the Waikiki trolley $10 non stop rides from Waikiki to Ala moana (pink line)

The room was comfortable and large. The two large beds with a good mattress. The complete toilet, although a bit small (you can brush your teeth and pee at the same time 😅). The room has air conditioning, safe, fridge and microwave. The TV is quite large. In addition, a balcony with two chairs and a table. Pity about the views and the noise. The views are on a street with a lot of traffic and the balcony glass did not insulate the noise, so you could hear the noise of cars and police and ambulance sirens all night long... Parking is not included and you they charge 28USD (+ taxes) per night. In addition, they don't guarantee you a place and if you arrive and it's full, they make you go to another car park. There are supermarkets and shops nearby and it's a 20-minute walk from the famous Waikiki Beach.

Convenience stores and restaurants, trolly stations, public beaches, and zoos are all very close and within walking distance. *Room facilities, the hotel has a history of a hundred years, so it is very stylish, but the city view room in the Diamond Building is so bad! ! ! ! Not as good as the new 3 star hotel rooms. (Pictured below are the benefits of room upgrade with the Marriott Platinum Card. I booked the cheapest room, but it turned out that booking through a third party did not provide any membership benefits. In the Maui fire, the hotel was full, and I wanted to upgrade temporarily but there was no room). The room is old, with an area of ​​less than 20 square meters. Morning and night, I am woken up either by cars on the road or by the phone in the next room. A very bad experience! * Service, remind the guests to check the bill carefully. After staying for 5 nights, the wrong bill was charged on 4 days. They checked it out one by one when they checked out, and the wrong money was refunded after 4 days. In short, don't try to be cheap when booking a room. The small and shabby room type is not as good as staying in Hyatt or Marriott. The price/performance ratio is too low!

I paid the resort fee and deposit with my card when I checked in in the morning, but when I went to the front desk to pick up my room key in the afternoon, I was charged the resort fee and deposit again. Even though I said it was strange that I had reserved only one room for two people, I was told to pay. I asked someone who could speak Japanese to take over the phone and explain things to me, and they finally gave me the room key, but there was no explanation or apology as to why it happened. I was handed the room key with a defiant attitude. And, as expected, I was charged at the restaurant even though I made a reservation with a plan that included breakfast. If the front desk is that much, well, I thought it would be like that. I'm scared of what I'll be charged next time when I check out tomorrow. Is Marriott a hotel like that? I come to Hawaii every year, but I will never stay at a Marriott again. It's a shame because the location and facilities are fine.

We were greeted by Cindy at the front desk, she was warm friendly, helpful and always had a big smile. Cindy is an excellent example of true Aloha spirit. Keola our evening bartender was funny, entertaining and makes excellent drinks. Hotel is centrally and conveniently located. Rooms are very clean and spacious but could use an update on furniture. Excellent selection of items on the complimentary breakfast buffet.

The hotel is in a good location! Located on the edge of Waikiki Beach, 6-8 minutes walk from Alamona Shopping Center. There is a pier in front of the hotel. If you are lucky, you can see turtles in the pier waters while standing in the room (beachfront room type)! There are many Japanese tourists in the hotel and the service is very good! ! The hotel room is large, the hotel is new, and the facilities are good! The disadvantage I personally think is that the swimming pool is small and located on the fifth floor of the hotel, which is a bit useless (everyone goes to the beach to swim, especially the lagoon on the beach near the hotel, the water is very calm, the area is large and the scenery is beautiful), and I don’t know that the hotel charges 47 dollars per day for a resort. What does the fee provide? In addition, the hotel only has two high-rise buildings and does not go directly to the beach. It does not have the same atmosphere as the Hilton resort next to it (the Hilton we stayed at last time)
