Waikiki Beachside Hostel

This place is amazing. Being the islands largest hostel there are so many new friends to meet and free tours and events to make new memories with those new friends! They have beach gear, snorkeling gear, surf gear and also a paddleboard, all for free in the big lounge that also has laundry and a gym! The location is literally a 45 second walk to the beach, a block from the bus (that goes everywhere on the island and you can even book on their site and get 1 day of free unlimited rides!), they also have a scooter shop with discounts (ask reception). The cherry on top is all the staff. Knowledgeable, personable and so very kind. Just a heads up, there are no elevators, only stairs. And with first come, first served bed selection, the only option may be a top bunk. Regardless, when you check-in, you're instantly brought into the hostels "ohana" and all of these things come together to truly make this an absolutely awesome place!

Awesome location, friendly, clean and has tour deals available! Loved how it had all the beach gear (chairs, snorkel, boogie boards, umbrella, mat’s ect.) available to borrow for the beach. They also supplied two towels! Staff was friendly and the vibes were super chill.

Horrible place. It's not as advertised and it's dirty. 0 communication skills, 0 problem solving skills. I just refused to stay there after I have seen the room and after they started to change their mind about room replacement/refund every 5 minutes. The more pressure you put on them, the more lies you hear. Do not count on any communication if anything goes wrong, you won't be heard
