Property Description
PLEASE READ IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO ALL WESTSIDE MAUKA PAVILION HOSTS TO ANYONE BOOKING This listing is for a 4 bedroom plus a small cozy reading room, 2 full bath. Master or main bathroom has a walk in shower 5x5ft w/a built in bench. The house is a huge duplex. A duplex is two units with a wall separating these units. Some duplex houses have a door in the middle locked on each side to separate or open if the two units is rented as a whole. spacious & comfortable.
Estimate: 2600 plus sq.ft.
There is very little property on this side of the island these days, maybe even in town that is private and without neighbors AND WITHOUT street lights. When you drive from the property heading towards the main highway, it’s like you’ve entered the twilight zone (hustle and bustle.)
This island, Hawaii nei close to becoming a concrete island with deep rooted history and culture, we try hard to remember & preserve.
We pule ( gather together in prayer before grounding ourselves to the Aina with food
By staying here you will get a sense of something meaningful. I believe this valley, with its history has spiritual roots and each person will have a unique connection, an experience you just can’t seem to pin point. If you have any questions or concerns and need answers that you cannot find in this description and on the final cost of booking., please refer back to the description. Still cant find answers? Ok contact me:)
If you wish for resort type, we are only 8 minutes away from Koolina resorts and Kapolei shopping area.
The duplex house is located on coral, being non-arable is impossible for growing yearly crops. So we have found other ways to help pay the cost of residential water instead of paying farmers price for water that we are not given even though this property is, “AGRICULTURE 2” . Other costs as well.
Mom and I usually water plants around the property during the evenings when it's cooler weather.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.Anyone over 13is considered as an adult..About customRules:Upon Booking, you must contact me if interested in hosting an event while your stay.Event details, cost, and fees apply on a separate contract..Ho’omakaukau

Great location, Amazing host - Aloha from Paradise!
We had the most incredible stay at Jojo's place in Hawaii! From the start, Jojo was a superstar—her communication before our arrival was spot on, and she gave us insider tips on the best beaches only locals know about. She was always available with suggestions on what to see and do, which made our trip so much more special. The house itself? Wow! It was even better than we imagined—tons of space for our family to spread out, super clean, and in such a peaceful area. At night, we loved stepping outside to enjoy the quiet and do some serious stargazing. Absolute magic. And let’s talk about the extras—beach mats, boogie boards, and more were right there for us to use, making beach days a breeze. Jojo really thought of everything to make our trip easy and unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again. Mahalo, Jojo, for making our Hawaiian getaway perfect!

The best down home stay
We wanted someplace away from the hustle and bustle, someplace local. And that’s what we got. The home is beautiful Josephine and he family are amazing! Wish we would have chosen to stay longer ❤️

Paradise Vacation Home
We had such an amazing time here. The house was beautiful, very clean, and comfortable for my family and I. The host was very informative about fun things to do on the island. We enjoyed staying here. I would definitely recommend this vacation home to family and friends.

Best hospitality of anyplace ever
I would rate this with 5 million stars if I could. It was clean. The house was very nice and the beds were comfortable. It is not a five star hotel but the owner was the best person that I have ever dealt with. She went above and beyond to make sure that everything was taken care of and there for us. I not only found the best place to stay but made a lifetime family and friend in the process. I may not live in Hawaii but my heart will always be there.

Wonderful
We had a wonderful week. The home was clean, beds were comfortable. Jo made sure we had everything needed. If there was something she didn’t have, she tried her best to accommodate us quickly. She had all the things we needed for the beach including a pop up canopy, umbrellas and boogie boards. Thank you Jo for your hospitality!

Great for larger groups
The house is a nice modest home/duplex, which seems to be a work in progress, in a quiet secluded area. The surrounding area isn’t the nicest with a lot of homeless people but the home is far enough away from other homes and the beach area that it doesn’t become an issue with security at the home.
The owners, Josie and V, are very nice people who love Hawaii and want the people that stay there to know and also love Hawaii.
Overall, this was a good choice for our vacation. We were able to get to things we wanted to see and do during the day and have a quite place to come back to at night. It was also nice to have a place to sit and visit or eat meals together anytime. It was much better for a large group, like ours, than having separate hotel rooms.
We would recommend this place to others staying on Oahu, especially to groups that would need multiple hotel rooms.

Quiet and homely!
The stay here has been excellent. The host was very helpful every step of the way even when there was some issues in the city with water, etc. She really makes you feel like ohana. Throughout our trip we were offered helpful local hints to make our stay more enjoyable as well as sights to see and visit. The house was lovely. It’s in remodel process, but that doesn’t hinder anything. After first arriving we initially thought it was gonna be quite the drive everyday being on this side of the island and more in the countryside, but after seeing the madhouse that is Waikiki and Honolulu (high traffic, high amounts of people, and typical bid city stuff), it ended up being the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. You could really relax and enjoy your trip and take in the sights.
