The hotel is located in the very central and center of the city and the hotel upgraded my room to one of their signature rooms on the high floor with a very good view. The amenities were very good and allow me for late checkout as well. The only thing is that check-in is quite slow, but the lady was quite courteous so that was fine. Just a simple check in hotel

I stayed at the W Hotel again yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted again by Willy at the front desk. Just like my first visit, he was incredibly professional and welcoming. He patiently explained all the hotel facilities in detail, making sure I felt comfortable and informed. What impressed me most was how he went above and beyond to help me resolve an issue with logging into my Marriott Bonvoy app – something that had been bothering me for a while. Willy truly made my stay smooth and enjoyable. Thank you for the outstanding service!

Our family had an unforgettable stay at the Kowloon Shangri-La! From the moment we arrived, the level of hospitality was exceptional. The check-in process was quick and seamless, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish.
The rooms were spacious, well-equipped, and perfect for our family. We were impressed by the stunning views of Victoria Harbour and the cleanliness and comfort of the entire suite. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and there were thoughtful touches like extra pillows and blankets for the kids, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel offered a range of kid-friendly amenities, including an indoor pool where our children had a blast. We also appreciated the hotel’s convenient location, with easy access to the MTR and being so close to many attractions, including the vibrant Tsim Sha Tsui district. Shopping, dining, and sightseeing were all just a short walk away.
Breakfast at the hotel was a real highlight—there was a fantastic selection of both local and international dishes that catered to all tastes.
The hotel’s team went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, whether it was arranging a taxi or giving us helpful recommendations for family-friendly activities around Kowloon.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience at Kowloon Shangri-La. It truly made our family vacation in Hong Kong special. We highly recommend this hotel to any family looking for luxury, comfort, and excellent service. We can’t wait to return!

Overall, it was a great experience, but there are a few things that could be improved. The towels could be of better quality, and the receptionist handling calls had a strong accent, which wasn’t as good English compared to other hotels. Moreover, she seemed quite unwilling to accommodate a late check-out request, which unfortunately came across as arrogance.

Been staying here countless times due to the price of a Harbour view room is one of the more well priced hotels around the area. Their free minibar throughout the stay is also another draw for me. Hotel is run and managed by the PolyU behind and you could see many young students either on intern or full time in all departments.
The suite is well sized and designed with views of the harbour from the corner of the room. Bathroom is large with a bathtub. Their pool on the 9th floor is also another highlight offering stunning views
Breakfast was either at the club lounge on the 28th floor or at the market on the 2nd floor. The club lounge is by far the superior in terms of ambiance and food quality though a smaller menu on offer comparing at the market

TTiong WengThis was one of my bucket list. High price but you get the well known Peninsula services. Great welcome and luggage handling upon arrival. Had a box of fragile teapot set left with them, handled care with a sticker of fragile sign. Room was not ready while I’m checking but went back later. Rooms are spacious and all the luxuries came in details, i discovered new features (technology embedded to traditional furnitures) along the stay. Great amenities, tea leaves, coffee machine and turn down service. Had friends over to hangover in the afternoon. The place had great privacy (you won’t hear other rooms at all). The bed was comfy too! When I check out the concierge took care of my luggages and wait with me for my Uber. Definitely an experience! Thank you.

AAlb33The hotel room is fine.
I was planning to book it for wedding day, but knowing the price of wedding purpose room is 3 times more expensive than the same room that not for wedding, it’s way too overpriced!!’
Especially we are not doing any deco or needed a parking whatsoever.
Therefore, we booked the hotel next door which gave us opposite experience and it costed us 3000 more instead of 10K.

99kykThanks Irene the front office staff. Lovely check in service from her.
Top staycation hotel in Hong Kong. Great view. Great size. Super clean.
Very overlooked in most hotel. But the sound proofing and environment was exquisite - very peaceful and tranquil.
Best to uber or taxi from MTR. The buffet at lighthouse was great for staycation but be prepared to pay as expected.
It is very family oriented hotel. So expect family and kids everywhere and at the pool. I would imagine this hotel would provide great memories for kids and parents.
Spa you have to pay and was pretty standard sauna and steam.
LLiAlexGreat location as just door steps to Ocean park. Great room space with auto open/close blinds for main window and bathroom, big bath tab so two kids can fit in nicely and great water pressure, super comfort bed. Easily to fit in two adults and two kids (10-12 years). Super yummy and big variety of breakfast and dinner buffer comparing with other 5 starts hotel. 4 complimentary free drinks from restaurant, free panda school bag, overall great price and value. Air-con works great too.
HHorsegirlBooked a staycation at WM hotel which was conveniently located next to Sha Ha beach (5-10km walk from hotel). This hotel is great for people who like water sports - we rented kayaks at the beach next to the hotel.
The room was nice and clean, the toilet was very big. There was a bathtub and a shower tray. The front desk was also very helpful - we called to ask for extra towels and blankets and they delivered those to our room very quickly.
The fitness center is open 24h, which is great. The only thing that could be better is that the swimming pool opens at 9am and closes at 6pm. It would be nicer if the pool opened earlier and closed later.
AAlvin MehdiPros:
1) Excellent Location right at market
2) Room amenities & cleanliness are top notch in the hotel .
3) Breakfast is sumptuous and has a really wide variety in the buffet options .
4) Concierge desk is super . Very helpful staff.
5) Housekeeping staff is super quick & efficient .
Area of improvement:
-Reception staff needs to improve on courtesy and manners . They are very cold and need to be more courteous and customer friendly .
-Reception charged 10 HKD$ extra for a page print of your flight ticket even after staying in The Mira suite room. This is really annoying and unexpected from such a big hotel to levy such petty charges on print outs . Some things are not expected from a star category hotel . The management should look into this petty things & try to make small amends.

AAnonymous UserStayed in late December for 5 Nights, booked 2 rooms for the family . I don’t recommend this hotel for tall people. The ceiling is not for International height haha. We thought all rooms have bath tubs but none and toilets are considered small, stained carpets and overall the rooms are badly in need of serious renovation. The persons who cleaned up our rooms are very good, we are grateful to come back to cleaned up room, fresh bed sheets. Their swimming pool remained open. I requested months prior for interconnecting but non available on the day so the front staff arranged adjacent rooms but it turns out it wasn’t adjacent but few rooms father from each other :). We stayed anyway because rooms already paid btw. Hotel has lovely Christmas decorations and you are surrounded with luxurious brands like Rolex, Patek etc but these shops btw have no stocks to offer even if you’ll pay cash so it’s useless. The location is not the best but acceptable. We saw drank men fighting nearby the hotel one night but we just walked straight and did not bother their business :).

GGuest UserI’d not say that the hotel is the best, but it’s nice. I had everything what I needed, but the AC was very noisy in my room. The beautiful sea view made me happy.
Morning breakfast was nice and delicious. Unfortunately, the restaurant stops serving dinner very early. So, I enjoyed tasting food somewhere else.
I’ve liked walking by the beach, watch some animals and hear birds singing. It’s a very peaceful and relaxing area. There’re many cafes, bars, shops and restaurants.
I’ve just had one night, but I could take a rest.
