I often go out and rarely write reviews, but this time is an exception. I didn't expect the experience to be so good! Super cost-effective! It's 170 meters walk from Exit A1 of Mong Kok MTR to the 5th floor of Kingland Building. The location is easy to find. The owner, Xiaoman, is very nice. She took the initiative to upgrade us to a triple room with a window (Figure 1, a casual shot in the room). When she learned that we didn't bring towels, she provided disposable bath towels for free, which was very considerate and awesome đđ» The sheets, quilt covers, and pillowcases are very white and clean, with a refreshing smell of laundry detergent. The bed is moderately soft and hard, and I slept very well! The hotel gate and room require passwords and cards to enter, which is very safe. Nathan Road is downstairs, TOP is diagonally opposite, near Sneaker Street, and it's very close to Tsim Sha Tsui and Harbour City. It's super convenient for shopping and eating. It's the best choice to come again next time!
Hotel is in a good location. Room is kind of small but not a big problem as we are only looking for a place with good location and a place to sleep in the night. Most of the time will be spent outside the hotel anyway. Convenient as it is walking distance to MTR, food and shopping in the busy street of Mongkok. I would stay there again.

The 16-20 square meters of light luxury suites subvert the traditional hotel layout by adopting the design concept of âtheatre of lifeâ: in addition to the 1.5-metre wide luxury bed, there is also a custom-made through-the-ceiling storage system with hidden secrets and the Scandinavian minimalist desk and the industrial style sofa are a perfect match for each other. In addition, the specially planned mini cooking area is equipped with an embedded refrigerator. The wet and dry separated bathroom space adopts nano anti-bacterial stone, complemented by a rainforest shower system so that business travellers can also interpret the warmth of the home.

Shared Space - Social Aesthetics
Breaking through the boundaries of traditional hotel functions, the hotel has created three special social areas:
1. Time Station Lobby: A freshly ground coffee workshop with an ice cream counter, complemented by the charred aroma of a vintage popcorn cart, weaves a time-travelling rest scene.
2. Starry Sky Terrace Barbecue Garden: Complete with a BBQ and outdoor lounge table and chairs, this garden is perfect for hosting a rooftop party for 20 people under the night sky.
Designed with the philosophy of âurban seclusionâ in mind, Seiko International Hotel perfectly balances the cityâs smoke and fire and quiet poetry in the Sham Shui Po district, representing the âhumanistic Hong Kongâ. Whether you are a student pursuing studies, a creative traveller in search of inspiration or an urban elite longing for a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, you can find an exclusive third space here to write your chapter on Hong Kong Island in the depths of the hustle and bustle of the city.

This kind of room is normal in Hong Kong, where every inch of land is valuable. There is no space left after putting the bed. However, the sanitary conditions are good, the transportation is convenient, and the service attitude of the front desk guy is very good.

Stayed for 3 nights and felt it was OK. The transportation is convenient. The hotel is 3/400 meters away from Mong Kok Station on the Tsuen Wan Line or Kwun Tong Line. The surrounding buses extend in all directions, and it is super convenient for eating, shopping and shopping.
The room is small, but it is very clean. There are windows facing the block, which is quite ventilated.
The lady boss is very polite. There are no disposable items in the room. She reminded us that they can be provided if needed, but we all brought our own. In the next two nights, when the room was not full, we were moved to a larger room, which was a little more comfortable for a family of four.
If I go to Hong Kong again, I will consider staying here again.

The service is very good! I didn't bring an adapter, so I asked the store and got an immediate answer: the sockets in the room can be directly plugged into the two-pin plugs in the mainland. You can also store your luggage, which is very convenient. Although the room is small, the facilities are complete, and the price is very cost-effective!

I recently stayed at Kam Mun Guesthouse during my trip to Hong Kong, and it was a fantastic experience! The location was incredibly convenient, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and popular attractions. The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and made us feel at home throughout our stay.
The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, providing all the essentials we needed. It was also family-friendly, which was important for us as we traveled with our baby. Despite being in a bustling area, the guesthouse offered a peaceful and comfortable environment.

Staying at Golden Island Hotel was definitely worth it. The location is super convenientâJordan Station is just a short walk away, and Temple Street is nearby too. There are plenty of affordable food spots around, plus some fast food places if youâre craving something familiar.
The elevator is a bit small, but itâs not a big deal because the room was really clean. The staff were so nice, especially Miss Miki and the older man who helped us out. They donât speak a lot of English, but they really made an effort to understand and assist us, which I appreciated. Overall, it was a simple but great stay.

4.4/5
Excellent
EEdiGThe hotel positions itself as a 4-star establishment, but it falls short of that mark. Here's a breakdown of my experience:
Location: The location is excellent, if you don't mind a steep uphill walk. However, the entire island is built on different levels, which isn't a negative but rather a positive â a daily workout! There's a bus stop right by the hotel, making it easy to reach the metro instead of walking up and down, straining your leg muscles. Next door is a botanical and zoological garden where you can take a stroll. By the way, entry is free. A 10-minute walk down the hill leads to the cable car âtramâ stop for a trip to Victoria Peak.
Check-in: Check-in was fast, but a USD 300 deposit is required, which isn't mentioned on either the trip.com website or the hotel's website. If you need an adapter for your electronic devices, ask for one right away â the receptionist won't offer it.
Room: The room is relatively clean, though I did find some hair in the kitchen and on the bedding. For Hong Kong, the room is spacious, but there's nowhere to store a suitcase. You can set the temperature on the air conditioner, but it doesn't work. It only blows cold air, making the room humid.
Kitchen: The kitchen is minimally equipped, but it's sufficient. However, upon check-in, they warn you that the stove can only be used for reheating food, not cooking, as the fire alarm system is very sensitive and might activate the siren due to hot steam. You must turn on the exhaust fan to full power and the air conditioner to avoid triggering the alarm. Why bother having a kitchen at all?
Bathroom: The same situation as with the kitchen â you need to close the door and turn on the air conditioner at full power while showering to avoid the fire alarm being triggered by steam from the bathroom. The shower hose started leaking on the second day of my stay. It was replaced with a new one, which also leaked. When the technician replaced the hose, did he check if the equipment was working properly? I doubt it.
Breakfast: Breakfast is only served from a menu, which is quite limited. It's delicious, but not diverse. Is this the service you'd expect from a 4-star hotel? The breakfast organization is chaotic â staff running around and clanging dishes. Two slow coffee machines and one toaster keep guests waiting in line. By the way, there are plastic mugs for tea and coffee. The only fruit options are two types of apples â red and green.
Service: The service is polite, but I'd say it's âon demand.â You need to ask for shampoo, shower gel, and dishwashing liquid to be refilled. The housekeeping, for some reason, doesn't notice the need to replenish hygiene products in the bathroom and kitchen.
Environmentalism: As in all of Hong Kong, they no longer provide water in plastic bottles. That's good, but come up with an alternative so guests don't have to go to the store for water. In my opinion, this environmental concern is simply an opportunity to reduce service costs while maintaining high accommodation prices. Speaking of breakfast again, the jam and butter are provided in small plastic containers, just like on airplanes. Is this really about caring for the environment?
Conclusion: Overall, it's a good choice if you're not bothered by the minor service inconsistencies and if you don't have high expectations for a 4-star hotel. If you're visiting Hong Kong, I'd recommend Two MacDonell Road.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the airport. If you take the AirPort Express train to the Asia World Expo station, itâs maybe 3-5 minutes away by feet - itâs actually directly connected to the station so you donât even have to go outside! They provide a shuttle to the airport every 15 minutes which is great. I think the ride lasts maybe 5 minutes? Itâs very short, the airport is genuinely super close.
The staff is very helpful. According to Hong Kong law, the hotels cannot distribute plastic water bottles so instead, each room gets a glass bottle that you can go refill whenever. There are several stations on each floor to do this. I thought this was a really good system.
They have a bar with a very nice atmosphere. Many people are sitting there waiting for their late flights and the vibe was really good!
Itâs somewhat of a basic business hotel. It was nice and clean but I felt like it was nothing extra - for this reason, I thought the price was way too high. This was my only problem. However, we also need to remember that this is Hong Kong, so it wonât be cheap.
GGuest UserGood location hotel with free toasts and coffee. It is very good to have simple breakfast at the hotel. However, the room is a little bit small compare with other same grade hotels. The location is fantastic. Very close to MTR subway, shopping malls and restaurants. The transportation is excellent. A11 bus can directly bring us to the airport which the station is very close to the hotel. In conclusion, it is a very nice hotel.
WWills CI recently stayed at the Harbour Plaza North Point Hotel on 31/12/2024 and I wanted to share my experience. Unfortunately, my stay had several challenges that impacted my overall satisfaction.
Since there were no available double bed rooms on the non-smoking floor, I was assigned to a smoking room on 9/F. As a non-smoker, I expected a slight cigarette smell, but the odor in the room was quite heavy. I informed housekeeping to spray air freshener while I was out for dinner, but the smell persisted, and even after checking out, I could still smell it on my clothes.
Additionally, the room itself felt outdated, reminiscent of the 1980s, and it is in urgent need of upgrades and maintenance. The decor and furnishings could definitely benefit from a refresh to enhance the guest experience.
Another downside was the Wi-Fi connectivity. The signal in my room was poor, making it impossible to download games to my Switch. I found myself having to stand in the corridor just to complete the download, which was quite inconvenient.
On a positive note, the staff were polite and attentive, which made a difference in my stay. I also appreciated the spaciousness of the room, which provided some comfort despite the other issues.
In summary, while the Harbour Plaza North Point Hotel has potential with its friendly staff and spacious accommodations, significant improvements are needed in terms of room conditions, maintenance, and amenities.
YYong VennyThey dont provide bottled water or amenities that use plastic. However, you can boil water from the tap dan they provide the pitcher as well as the electric jug.
You cannot find any restaurant around the hotel but you can take the free shuttle bus to Tsuen Wan Station and you can find foods seller there. The food price in hotel is acceptable for my breakfast dan dinner.
The view from my room is awesome dan the room size is big. My room has a living room dan pantry with sink.
KKs925Room is small but the room I have chosen comes with balcony. Toilet is small but hot shower is consistent with good pressure. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggages before leaving. The location is good and lots of eatery nearby.
JJaneth Penilla101percent very clean I like the room very simple but nice ..also the view very nice can see the view of city â€ïž but hope nextime have a personal kit for body hygiene đȘ„đȘ„đȘ„đȘ„ but all is very nice đŻ
FFeefa MLocation wise very good. Only 2 minutes walk from Islamic Canteen and Mosque. When we booked we didnât know itâll be that near so easy for us to find halal food and pray as well. Also about 10 minutes walk to Wan Chai Station. Our room is not very spacious however the price is okay for the room that fits our family of 4 as we chose family room. We mainly took public transport to go everywhere - Disneyland (40 mnt) , Ocean Park ( 20 minutes) , Victoria Peak + Peak Trams ( 25 minutes), ferry terminal to Macau only 10 minutes away and airport around 45 mnt to 1 hr depending on your exchange time. Overall we are satisfied with the hotel. As we will not be spending time inside the room so the price was okay for us with comfortable place to sleep.

AAngbabaylanIt is an old building. Some parts were still pretty. My room was clean. I was a little confused when I was looking for my room. Most of the staff were nice. The lobby guy around 5 or 6am was really helpful giving me directions to 711. The staff during check in was nice enough but there was a little hint of impatience maybe he was tired and there were a lot of customers checking in that time. I didnât see seaside which was a shame. There is construction going on.
