Mini Hotel Causeway Bay

They never give daily toiletries.. from your check in 1pc disposable towel for 3days use.. tsk

I took my mom on her first trip to Hong Kong and spent a long time choosing accommodation before deciding on this place. Unfortunately, the staff who checked us in were very rude ( the one who wearing glasses.) We stayed for two consecutive nights and requested extra towels because the towels provided weren’t really towels but thick tissues only. The staff told us we could only get more if we paid with vending machine. On top of that, their facial expressions clearly showed they didn’t want to welcome us. The room was dirty, with used towels left on the ceiling. The shower head was really dirty like never clean before. There were cracks in the walls in several spots, the wooden floor was swollen, and the bed legs looked like they could break at any moment. My mom had to climb onto the bed very carefully. The hotel’s location is good, but the staff’s attitude is terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Bright room, cleaned to be as clean as it can be, unironically good Feng Shui, relatively high ceiling for HK- helps with claustrophobic feelings, humorous and organised staff, nice lobby, good WiFi, good AC, ample space under bed to place things, spacious bathroom for H. There is a vending machine that dispenses adapters, toothbrush sets, food, drinks, etc. Some hotels no longer provide toiletries for environmental reasons so I don’t count toothbrush kit as an amenity. There are no slippers but I usually do not wear those provided by hotels unless it’s a one time use one. Appreciate it when I get them. May be improved by adding a portable table, those breakfast in bed tables as eating isn’t allowed in the lobby and the table space in the room is very little- small low standing round table. The responsibility to keep the room clean is on the customers.

Happy experiences!!! Appreciated the staff guide my mom find the lift instead carrying two 28inch luggage waiting at outdoor when I’m walking alone to explore where to go basement. I would like to suggest (my personal opinion) keep a LED signboard with arrow shows where is the lift located, it will be very easy for the first time traveller in HK. I like the water heater with strong pressure water, perfect for me after 20K steps of walking in a day. The lobby is so special, full of nostalgia style of sofa and frame pictures hanging on the wall. I will come back again definitely !!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good price for the location  The room is as small as expected.
