Last minute booking via trip.com The staff was kind to offer upgrade to suite which was a surprised. The room was spacious, clean and comfy. It’s good to get some quality sleep.

The hotel is indeed within 5 minutes walk to the nearest metro station, but beware that the walk to the actual platform to catch trains is actually a 15-minute walk. This was my second stay, and I still appreciate the value pricing, efficient service, and high standard of maintenance (as it's a fairly old property). The rooftop pool is a treat for both frolicking or lap swimming. This hotel gets all the basics right, such as lighting, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, linens and comfortable pillows/mattress. I would be happy to make this my default hotel in Hong Kong if the pricing continues to offer such good value.

As always this hotel is very high on my choices of places to stay.

Check in take a bit long time. The location is good and near mtr. The room is fair. Not a bad choice.

Despite its long history and that it has been more than a decade since renovation, everything particularly the decoration, cleanliness and comfortability of the room way exceeded our expectations.

Firstly, the service attitude at the front desk was very poor. I stood in front and waited for about half an hour to complete the check-in process. The so-called sea view king bedroom that I booked for 1,000 to 2,000 yuan was extremely dirty. The floor was blackened, and the wardrobe was tattered and moldy. The ceiling was damp and the paint was peeling off. The bathroom was also filthy, and we were only provided with a bathtub, which had black mold around the edges. Additionally, the hotel did not include bottled water and charged 80 yuan per bottle. Overall, the cost-effectiveness was very poor. Most importantly, the whole room had a strong musty smell, which was detrimental to health. I would not dare to stay here again.

I stay at this hotel maybe 5 to 10 nights a year when in hong kong on business. The hotel is well located and clean. The staff always accommodating. The roof top pool is also a great space to enjoy a wind down with a view

Always a wonderful experience at our favourite hotel. The service was exceptional as the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The front desk staff are kind and attentive and always available to answer questions. The hotel was recently renovated but they’ve done well in preserving the rich history within its walls. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean and elegantly decorated. The location is perfect as it’s a quick walk from Nanjing Road, and the metro which makes it easy to explore the surroundings. Always happy to return.
