The hotel location is great, just 5 mins walk from the pier with many great restaurants. It’s also close to the city centre. The staff are also super helpful. They gave us a lot of information about how to get around and booked the restaurants for us. Rooms are a little old but kept very clean. I will certainly come back when I visit Hobart again.

Definitely did not disappoint! Love the rooms, the location, the dining, the breakfast!
Everything is located within walking distance of the hotel. Car valet available for $35/day. Conveniently stop outside hotel. However be warned that during peak timings you might have to keep circling the area just to wait for a parking space to stop.
We had a 2 queen size bedroom for 3 pax. Lovely amenities and excellent room service.
Reception was so helpful and so friendly. Shout out especially to Chloe!
Really can't praise this hotel enough! Will definitely stay again!

The front desk was very welcoming and the location was good. It was very close to the city center and it was only 5-6 minutes. I also sent a discount coupon for lunch, and the room was not as small as I expected.

Stayed in a one bedroom apartment it was spacious and clean. Lawrence on reception was terrific very helpful and friendly. Couple of small things, when we booked we asked to be away from the lifts, and we were right beside the lift. Road/ street noise was not good if your a light sleeper. Car park is limited so book early. No toaster in the unit, Lawrence was going to try and fix this. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Banjos bakery across the road. Bus stop out the front. Very central for travellers.

Free parking. About ten minutes walk from the bazaar, eliminating the embarrassment of finding a parking space. The disadvantages are obvious. This is an old house with a history of more than 100 years, made into a hotel. There is heating and air conditioning. The windows in my bedroom don't seem to close. The passing of the car can be heard more clearly. No deposit is required, and kitchen items are free to eat and use. The man looking at the house has bad ears. The old house is a bit interesting.

Said to be a shop, specifically a large inn, downstairs is a bar, restaurant, slot machine room. The lobby is right on the side of the bar and restaurant. This shop was remodeled from an old house. There are a total of eleven rooms. On the second floor, open the door with a key, the stairs are up and down, and the key to open the door is the key to your room. The quietness of the accommodation is entirely conscious of the guests. There is only one chain on the door of the room for security measures and no anti-locking. The bathroom is big. Breakfast is a Western-style breakfast, a la carte meal, breakfast tea drink buffet, tea, water, milk, juice. The location of the hotel (inn) is very good, this is the biggest advantage.

The room is clean and well-organized, with all the basic amenities provided. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is clean with hot water available, and the air conditioning works well. The house is over 170 years old and is relatively well-maintained. However, there are inevitable inconveniences of old houses, such as the lack of an elevator.
Hygiene: It is quite clean and overall refreshing.
Service: The front desk closes at 5 o'clock, and the key is in the password box. You can ask for the password by sending an email or calling the phone on the door. Two breakfasts were given, which were quite rich, including croissant yogurt, fruit coffee, etc.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Location is excellent in city centre with plenty of amenities around the hotel. Room is clean, spacious and installed with AC that comes with heater function to warm the room. The front-office staffs are very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Tin and Antonia who went the extra mile to solve my car park issue. Highly recommended and will return for my next visit to Hobart.

MMTse1070Hotel is ok, not a value for money, for the rates I’m paying, there are other hotels which offer the same. One thing that must be said, parking is a hassle, the hotel charges A$35 per day, starts from checking in to when you check out. Only valet parking, one can probably do the parking yourself around the hotel and may even cheaper. But the worst is they informed you that to get the car it will take 25 minutes. In my first time to pick the car, it actually took them almost 40 minutes, so if you’re in a hurry take the Uber, you’ve probably arrive at the destination.
Just don’t know why most hotels in the West, and Australia and NZ included, just can’t be compared to those in Asia in terms of values for money, services and quality of the hotels. It’s probably people over here has lower expectations. In most cases I’d discount their ratings on google and would specifically look for reviews by Asian person.

YYuanGood location. Close to both CBD and Sandy Bay. The kitchenette is very convenient. There was an electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, pots and pans and knives and forks, but no chopsticks. Free internet. Front desk closes at 9 pm, but you can enter and exit multiple doors at anytime with your room card. Free parking space. Luggage storage is available. Let us check in at 12 noon. For sleeping, there is a powerful air conditioner, but only two thin blankets and the mattress is too soft. A$6 for continental breakfast, but you have to fill out a form to order. A$6 for both washing machine or dryer. Free laundry powder or liquid. Wellington Mountain and a corner view of the ocean from your room!

AAnonymous UserJust like other DoubleTree by Hilton hotels, this new hotel in Hobart provides excellent room and breakfast experience. We were always greeted & served by service oriented staff, & the signature welcome chocolate cookie was yummy. There was a free upgrade to a bigger room & it was so spacious & comfortable. Love the amenities in room as well as the complimentary coffee & tea bags. Breakfast was of great quality, didn't regret adding it to my booking. If we had to nitpick, location was a bit off from the main action near Franklin Square, but it wasn't too bad, about 10-15 min walk.
Overall, it was a wonderful 2-night stay & I'd love to stay here again if I return to Hobart!

GGuest UserWhat a super little hostel! Excellent location just minutes from the waterfront. Lovely man in reception - they always give a tour of facilities. Hostel is set in an old Victorian house which is delightful. Large well- equipped kitchen, free food available from previous guests. A lovely garden although it had yappy dogs in it so I wasn’t a fan. Beautiful upstairs verandah with comfortable seating, and sofas in other spaces to no shortage of places to relax.
I was in a female four bed dorm which was a bit tight for space but I saw other rooms which seemed more spacious with wider beds. I loved the individual lights and fans for each bed. My bottom bunk had a curtain but I wouldn’t have like being in a top bunk as they didn’t, so you were exposed to the main light going o etc.
The only thing that spoiled my stay was the same thing that spoils every stay I’ve had when travelling - thoughtless guests who make noise early in the morning/late at night. The three girls sharing my room got up at various times from 5.30 onwards so needless to say my morning did not start well! Hostel management can’t do much about that though.
Immaculately clean bathrooms and a good vibe. I’d definitely stay here again, but in a private room!

GGuest UserThis accomodation was perfect for a short stay near the airport, without costing a fortune. It was priced well, was clean and had everything I needed. Check in and checkout were done without physical contact, and were seamless and easy. Accomodation was able to accomodate last minute late check in which I appreciated. The room was small, so for a couple with a lot of luggage might be tight, but suited my needs just fine. Would stay there again

GGuest UserThe room and bathroom is small. The shower head is fixed which means difficult to control the water flow and cold water will flow out when you go inside. The WiFi connection is not stable. The only good thing is that the laundry facilities is good. Breakfast is normal with limited choice. The price is quite high and not value for money.

It's very good to have a menu to order according to your taste. The house has a sofa. It's very considerate to have a waiter come to the room to open the sofa and put it on. Beautiful surroundings of the hotel

was nice and clean and just right for a short stay. I would recommend staying here. We also received a free drinks voucher to use at the pub which was a nice touch.
