"Good location. Close to both CBD and Sandy Bay. The kitchenette is very convenient. There was an electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, pots and pans and knives and forks, but no chopsticks. Free internet. Front desk closes at 9 pm, but you can enter and exit multiple doors at anytime with your room card. Free parking space. Luggage storage is available. Let us check in at 12 noon. For sleeping, there is a powerful air conditioner, but only two thin blankets and the mattress is too soft. A$6 for continental breakfast, but you have to fill out a form to order. A$6 for both washing machine or dryer. Free laundry powder or liquid. Wellington Mountain and a corner view of the ocean from your room!"

"I recently stayed at Wrest Point and would definitely stay again!
My room was a highlight—spotlessly clean, super comfortable bed, and a stunning view of the bay that made my stay extra special.
I really enjoyed spending time at the Birdcage Bar. The cocktails were fantastic and the atmosphere was lively—highly recommend for a fun night out.
Staff-wise, my experience was mixed: some team members were amazing and made me feel welcome, while others weren’t as friendly or helpful as I’d hoped. This didn’t overshadow my overall positive stay, but it’s worth mentioning.

"I absolutely loved the complimentary welcome cheese platter. The breakfast box was a bit basic, so we just grabbed a quick bite before heading into town for coffee. The town is tiny, but I really enjoyed its quiet and peaceful atmosphere, and it wasn't crowded. Every day, three little ducks would visit our balcony, waiting for cookies, which the kids absolutely adored. Both bedrooms were very clean, and the bathroom was huge. The basic toaster, microwave, and fridge were very useful, and room service was available from the restaurant. The tree outside the front door displayed beautiful changing colors throughout the day, which was very pretty."

"Free parking. About ten minutes walk from the bazaar, eliminating the embarrassment of finding a parking space. The disadvantages are obvious. This is an old house with a history of more than 100 years, made into a hotel. There is heating and air conditioning. The windows in my bedroom don't seem to close. The passing of the car can be heard more clearly. No deposit is required, and kitchen items are free to eat and use. The man looking at the house has bad ears. The old house is a bit interesting."

"Very convenient location and easy to access any major sightseeing spots. The motel keeps things clean and tidy. Great size of rooms and very happy with the customer service. Has got amenities, towels, tea/coffee, plates, cutlery, microwave, dishwashing liquid and some towels. Amazing service for the price. Just a bit noisy from the road when traffic passes and noise from neighbours as the wall is thin. Other than that, very happy with the accommodation."

The hotel is in central Hobart CBD,it is walking distance to almost everything including waterfront Salamanca,Battery Point etc.
There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby all within a short walk.
The rooms are clean and modern,the hotel has a casual bar and restaurant plus a more formal restaurant.
Happy hour between 16:30 and 18:30 is a great time to have a drink in the lovely lounge area in comfortable sofas and armchairs near the large feature gas fireplace.
The staff are all friendly and efficient.
I couldn’t fault this hotel on anything,we stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was modern and very spacious.
Parking is onsite at $25 dollars per day which is pretty standard for the area,

PPenguinLadyWhat a super little hostel! Excellent location just minutes from the waterfront. Lovely man in reception - they always give a tour of facilities. Hostel is set in an old Victorian house which is delightful. Large well- equipped kitchen, free food available from previous guests. A lovely garden although it had yappy dogs in it so I wasn’t a fan. Beautiful upstairs verandah with comfortable seating, and sofas in other spaces to no shortage of places to relax.
I was in a female four bed dorm which was a bit tight for space but I saw other rooms which seemed more spacious with wider beds. I loved the individual lights and fans for each bed. My bottom bunk had a curtain but I wouldn’t have like being in a top bunk as they didn’t, so you were exposed to the main light going o etc.
The only thing that spoiled my stay was the same thing that spoils every stay I’ve had when travelling - thoughtless guests who make noise early in the morning/late at night. The three girls sharing my room got up at various times from 5.30 onwards so needless to say my morning did not start well! Hostel management can’t do much about that though.
Immaculately clean bathrooms and a good vibe. I’d definitely stay here again, but in a private room!

WwinkwanThis is my first time staying at a Movenpick hotel. The hotel is new & modern. The location is close to Skybus drop out point & Visitor Information Centre. Check in was very smooth & fast. Room was spacious, clean & tidy. It's quiet to sleep through the night.
There was one incident that someone ordered a wrong room service to my room, I told the lady it was not mine & she left. However, when I check out, it's still on my bill. The lady said she would handle it immediately. Then I left my luggage for storage before my flight, and when I went back to pick up my things hours later, I checked with another concierge lady, the charge has been canceled, so nothing had been charged to my card. They were all very nice & helpful.
During my stay, I tried their free desserts at the lobby once (3:30-4:30pm daily). They were generous to provide quite some varieties for tasting, and they were fresh & yummy.

郭郭The location of the hotel is good, just beside the pier, the facilities in the room are all available, and the high-end configuration is the best hotel apartment I have ever stayed at. The front desk office of the hotel is super hard to find. I can't communicate in English. All of my son, a junior high school student, asked six or seven people and found the hotel front desk. They have already got off work, then they called and called us to find a green one. The button door, the key is that the door is not in the hotel yard, on the side of the building facing the road, we found it for a long time to find, then direct us to open a password box, and finally got the room key, I advise you, if I don't know a word of English. I have to go to the store during the working hours of the hotel. Otherwise, you can't understand the other person's words and you can't get the keys. Here is the photo of the hotel's front office. Have you seen it? The office is in that doorway, I hope to help everyone.

匿匿名顧客Excellent, hearty and warm service. The airport skybus stop is right in front of the hotel (frequency 40 mins, whole ride 25 mins from or to airport). Room and bed very comfy. Free bottle water and welcome cookies. The trash bins inside the room are too small however. Buffet breakfast is decent too. Locationwise, not the best. No restaurants or groceries nearby (just restaurants inside hotels). Need a bit of walk (5-10 mins) to reach the very centre where the shops are.

GGuest UserWe had a great second stay at this hotel. The room was a good size bathroom on the small side but functional. They gave us a high floor room with a nice view - we could even see the water and we liked the Trip.com deal where we got free breakfast. This was tasty and an enjoyable way to start the day. We found the staff were pleasant and we got a bottle of wine as we were celebrating a birthday. There is either onsite parking or you can get a discounted code for the Village cinemas carpark (both $15). This is a good 3 star standard hotel in a great location and we would come back. In fact, the breakfast was nicer than a recent very disappointing stay at the nearby (and much more expensive!) Moevenpick hotel.

GGuest UserWe are quite surprised and pleased with the complete amenities of our room. We have all toiletries (eg towels, shower gel, lotion, hair dryer) except tooth brush and toothpaste, smart TV, kitchen stuff (kettle, microwave, toaster, dishes and spoons). Another plus is good location with stunning lake view, many parking lots and close to the center.
Although the room is quite small but we love the comfort and coziness it brings.

GGuest UserHotel was great, didn’t realise it was situated over the top of a pub. But we didn’t research. The supreme king bed was the absolute best thing ever! So comfy and nice big comfy pillows!
Sink to wash hands located in room not toilet which we found odd and cleaner only made 1 side of the bed not the other. But great friendly staff, clean room pretty darn good for the price!

GGuest UserThe room has a lot of space, and the shelf is a bit low, but the bedroom is separated from the living room, so it is convenient to use. The bedroom has a terrace, so you can stand outside directly. Although there is no air conditioner in the room, the wall-mounted electric heater is very powerful. Anyway, I Neither the child nor the child feel cold. The bed was also very comfortable. This is the breakfast, there are too few varieties, it needs to be improved!
