Pros: Lovely rooms (two-bedroom) which had everything you needed. Nicely decorated and felt upscale. Hotel was slightly off the main road and rooms were quiet. HCMC roads are busy and noisy!! Small but clean gym, small playground for kids (indoor and outdoor). Pool is big and clean. Restaurant area next to pool. Lobby and reception area is very nice, smells good and has a luxurious feel. Location was good, near the zoo. Cons: only one: breakfast. Vietnamese food is very good but this was the hotel’s weakest link. Limited choice and not that delicious, if you got there after 8.30am almost all the warm food was cold. Hope this can be improved.

We chose the Somerset Chancellor due to it’s location and the ability to comfortably fit our family of five. The apartments are relatively basic but clean and comfortable with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment, we did need help with plane tickets and the team on the desk were great, helping us work through. The convenience store attached to the hotel was very handy!

Overall the service and rooms were pretty good, however there was a little embarrassing moment at check-in when they asked the me to write down on paper the name of my girlfriend when she was already on the booking. They proceeded to tell me that it is okay this time only, but next time I need to book an extra room for my girlfriend. It was really embarrassing and I was actually kind of offended. I won't be paying for an extra room next time just quietly, If I am turned away I will take my business elsewhere.

The 2-bedroom apartment we stayed in was large and a great space for my family of four. The facilities were very nice but the service is excellent. We would like to thank Handsome Van at the front desk along with every person at the front desk for the next level of service they provided. I really was blown away by the great service we received from the doorman to the servers to the drivers to and from the airport. It has been 5 years since I have been back to Vietnam and the service at the hotel was spectacular. I would recommend this hotel to everyone! They really made my stay wonderful. Thank you Intercontinental Team. We will be back!

Since Ho Chi Minh often goes on business trips, I think it is a suitable hotel for business trips as a result of visiting about 10 hotels. 1. The price is reasonable, and the breakfast is good compared to other hotels in this price range in District 1. 2. It is good to sleep because the surroundings are quiet at night. 3. As it is a nationwide chain hotel in Vietnam, it is clean and there are many English-speaking staff, so communication is not a problem. 4. I have little fitness, but it is difficult to do simple exercises. 5. The room size is small and the wifi works well 6. There is a Somerset Hotel right in front, and the coffee shop on the first floor is a famous chain store. It is very delicious. It takes 15 minutes to walk to downtown District 7.1 and takes a taxi for 5 minutes and 30,000 dong. 8. It is right behind the Central Post Office, the Ho Chi Minh sightseeing course.

Stayed here for two weeks while I was lecturing nearby. Clean. comfortable room - good value for money. But staff were very helpful and caring. I wasn't feeling well one day and the breakfast manager conjured up a lovely rice porridge for me. The hotel is on a lively street with a variety of restaurant choices. I will be back.

They shall do everything in their power to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Very convenient hotel, close to the local hotspots, very friendly personnel and good breakfast. At lower floor the noise from the nearby traffic is a bit too loud, but fortunately the hotel gave us another room directly at the 15th floor, which was much better. Nice rooftop swimming pool, I'd go back to this place for sure.

Was recommended Intercon and it did not disappoint. Enjoyable stay for a girls' weekend and birthday trip. The hotel's location is the best- right across the Book Street, Notre Dame Cathedral and Post Office and a short walk to a street full of lovely cafes and restaurants and a slightly longer walk to the City Hall and Opera House. We were given a room on the 15th floor with a great view. Beds were very comfortable. Service was friendly and prompt. We will return!

It was a wonderful stay at Le Merdien Saigon. Check in was a breeze and Ms.Hanni who was on duty was professional and able to address the concern on a minor defect in the room toilet. The issue was rectified while I was outside and issue was fixed prior to returning back to the hotel room. Attentive to the details she verified to ensure everything is in order in the next day. Other concerns were also addressed during check-in and also swift arrangement to address some other issues. A wonderful surprise to a fruit platter as well! We also ordered the in room dining food for dinner and it was good, thanks to the wonderful chef who brought the food up. Overall it was a good stay again in Le Meridien and like to compliment the warm hospitality and excellent customer service to Ms. Hanni and also to the manager on duty . Will be back staying at Le Merdien Saigon in the future. A minor feedback to the Global Marriott bonvoy app ( not Vietnam specific) if the room booking could have a list of default options for customer to be notified if the booking is primarily for room only vs room with breakfast vs room with addon (i.e breakfast , etc ) so that customer would be able to know easily during online booking . Current application may be challenging to navigate these options.

I really enjoyed my week stay at The Bloom. The room was spacious. The best thing about the hotel is the front desk staff was very attentive. They are good at opening doors 24/7. I arrived six hours early before check-in and I was helped a lot with recommendations and was welcomed really well by Phuoc (sorry maybe the spelling is wrong) - he was great! We also really enjoyed Quin who we bothered everyday with advice lol! There was also the tall man and the other man who is usually there were really helpful as well. From the airport to the hotel, Grab was used, 131.000VND (about 780 yen) return 232.000VND (about 1380 yen). It has just opened, everything is new, and it is the same as a Japanese business hotel. The front desk staff were cheerful, kind and polite, and the employee education was well done, and the customer service was great. The deluxe room is spacious 々, comfortable beds, bathroom facilities are all TOTO products, amenities are substantial, temperature control water pressure is perfect shower and perfect. Breakfast is also rich in variety with Japanese and Western food pho, especially miso soup is the Japanese taste! It was delicious. The elevator is room key authentication and has complete security measures. The rooftop pool is also wide 々 and comfortable. It is located on the street that is one back from the Japanese town, but it is a convenient place to go anywhere. When I requested to change the breakfast the next morning to the meal box for late night check-out, I was very happy to have a Japanese lunch box at check-out. Thank you very much! I was able to spend comfortably. I want a stay that is completely the same as the Japanese business environment, and I want to eat delicious Japanese food for breakfast! This is an absolute recommended hotel for those who say. Very satisfied, Lipi confirmed!

Northern Charm is a nice little hotel in a great location in District 1. It is within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions and popular bars/restaurants. We were upgraded for free on our arrival which was a nice touch. The room was small but comfortable and clean. The bathroom amenities were limited but it was also very clean. The view over the surrounding area was quite lovely - you could see the cathedral (it’s scaffolded now but sure will be lovely when it’s fixed.) Unfortunately, we had some issue with the bathroom flooding. The management offered to change our room but since we only had one more night before check out, we didn’t change. The damp smell was very overwhelming after this and we had to open the windows to clear it. The breakfast was quite limited in options - there could be more pastries, cereals, yoghurts and more hot options but what we had was very nice and set us up for the day.

Lovely homestay hotel, located within easy walking distance to district one and three, on a side street off the main drag. There is a Family Mart right next door, for any snacks or beverages you may need. If you have a craving for McDonald's or Popeye's, they're about a ten minute walk away: otherwise, there are many local restaurants everywhere you look. I would definitely recommend this hotel, as they have a wonderful staff and the rooms have a funky decor. No elevator, but it's only three stories, so no big deal.

Good service staff The room is cute, quiet, but the bathroom stinks most of the time. Towels are not provided. Everything was missing except soap and shampoo. The drawer couldn't be closed. Tell the housekeeper to come change the bed for you. The housekeeper only came to make the bed but didn't change it at all. So I thought that for staying for 7 days, I should change the mattress. The room is cute. There is a microwave, cups, plates, and hot water kettle. There are no spoons. Overall, it's almost good. I like it. During the day, there's a guard watching all the time. You can walk around and find something to eat easily.
