Everything is clean, the renovation is fresh. A great option for a few nights. There is not much space, but we only spent the night in it.

Just like the online reviews, it is a clean and quiet hotel. Just walking out of the alley is the downtown area, and it is very convenient for food, clothing, housing and transportation. The only drawback is that the double room is on a high floor and there is no elevator. If your luggage is too heavy or you are not used to walking up many flights of stairs, it is recommended to book a triple room.

Sunny Guest house is spotlessly clean and in a perfect position. It’s very quiet for sleeping despite being very central as it’s down an alleyway. The air conditioning is very efficient and the shower hot. We were helped with organising bus tickets even for our future plans - above and beyond assistance. We would stay here any time when we returned to Ho Chi Minh City. Thankyou everyone at Sunny Guesthouse

Using a well-known booking site, I had booked a 'king room with balcony' at this establishment. I arrived after a strenuous day of travel, hoping to flop onto my bed after having a cigarette on the balcony. I was shown to a FAMILY room (on the 4th floor without elevator) WITHOUT balcony. When I complained, the owner/manager told me that there were no rooms with balcony available. This is a well-known scam in Vietnam. Promise a nice room and when they exhausted travelers arrive, they will put up with a crappy room. This needs to stop. Moreover, the owner then reported me to the well-known booking site as a 'No-Show', thus saving herself the commission and robbing me of the opportunity to write a salted review on said well-known booking site. Appalling business practices at Sunny Guest House..... book at your own risk

As a travel business owner and having stayed in everything from hostels to the best 5 stars in the world, across 130 countries, I was impressed with this place. It's basic, which is to be expected given the price, but the staff are super friendly, the room was spacious and comfortable and I would easily stay here again. :)
