"When you arrive by car, the waiter is already waiting in the parking lot and you can communicate in Chinese, which speeds up the check-in process.
The room faces the Kuma River and the scenery is beautiful.
However, there are many residential areas nearby, and most shops and restaurants close very early, so you need to make reservations in advance.
The downside is the hot spring. The outdoor hot spring on the 5th floor has a bathtub-like shape. The water is very dirty. I don’t know if it has any special ingredients, but it looks like dead skin. I saw Japanese little girls were scared by the hot spring water.
Although the hot spring faces the river, it is next to the road with only a small shelter, so it can be easily seen by people on the street, and the privacy is not very good.
Breakfast is a set meal. Rich and flavorful.
There is sake tasting and the lounge area is very comfortable.
And…slippers"
"The staff were very friendly and I was able to spend a good time. It was the first Hitoyoshi Onsen, but the quality of the spring was my favorite and the hot water was lukewarm and my skin was happy. The Kuma River flows in front of me, and I was able to walk around 々 near Sengetsu Shuzo and Hitoyoshi Jo castle. When I arrived, there was a drink service in the lobby and a space to spend a relaxing time drinking alcohol and soft drinks before dinner, so I felt a little better."
"Ausgezeichnete, luxoriöse Unterkunft.
Sehr individueller Check-In mit Drink in der Couch-Ecke.
Außergeöhnlich zuvorkommender Service.
Kostenlose Getränke in der Lobby.
Sehr große Zimmer mit Blick auf den Fluß.
Essen und Onsen haben wir nicht genutzt. Daher können wir diesen nicht beurteilen."
"The room was very warm and clean. It was very comfortable to live in. The boss was very warm and thoughtful, making us feel Renji's warmth! Thank you so much! If I have another chance to come to Renji in the future, I will choose it again!"
"The room is really big and beautiful, and the hot spring is very comfortable and clean. The surroundings are very quiet, and the proprietress is also very friendly. When I checked in, I already had a small cookie. I have to send me some small cakes 🥹🥹 and help me take a taxi. If I don't have her, I have to get up early and go out 🥹🥹, but because there are many trees around, I will see spiders at night. It is not recommended to open the window. I don't know when the thing came in. And it is recommended to come back before dark, the town has very few lights left the center"
"The hotel is located in a good location. It is a 5-minute walk from JR Hitoyoshi Station and Aoi Aso Shrine is across the road. It takes more than ten minutes to walk to Kamimura Eel House. The hotel is a building from the Showa era and is a national tangible cultural property, so it is inevitable that the facilities are slightly old. There is an indoor hot spring in the hotel, which is very convenient. The proprietress speaks English, but the staff is limited in English. After staying for two nights, there were more guests on the first night and arranged a room on the first floor. The next morning the proprietress offered to change to a room with a better view on the second floor, and she could see the side In the Kuma River, you can hear the sound of the river at night. On the day of leaving the shop, the proprietress drove to the JR station. Although the hotel’s facilities are slightly outdated and the wooden house has poor sound insulation, it makes people feel the caring Japanese service."

"The hotel decoration for Christmas was superb & beautiful.
Initially when we checked in, the passage way at level 2 had an unpleasant musty smell but a few hours later the smell was gone. I think the hotel should look into improving the ventilation & add some aromatic scent.
The breakfast spread for 1320 yen was excellent. There were Japanese as well as Western food choices."
