What a gem this place is! Beautiful location. We had a family room. The beds were very comfy and the ensuite and room were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice. The location is ideal for exploring, our trip was to explore Hadrian's Wall. Our host was very knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Just an overnight stay on our way to Scotland but it was everything we wanted and more. Fantastic recommendation from Elizabeth for Sunday roast at The Rose and Crown. We had room 1 overlooking the beautiful garden. Lovely large room with bath and shower. Breakfast was lovely, all fresh cooked by Elizabeth, and piping hot. Great coffee too! Lots of extra thoughtful touches like a lounge area, crockery and glasses available to use and a microwave if we'd needed it. Will definitely stay again in we're back in this area. Thank you!

Second visit to this lovely B & B farm in just over 6 months and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time in November but better views this time with the lighter evenings and better weather. Same room as before so knew what to expect, lovely comfy bed and large bathroom. Breakfast again was really good and plenty of it. Elizabeth the owner was again brilliant and works so hard to make sure her guest's have everything they need as well as running the farm etc. she 's amazing and we can definitely recommend staying here. If you get a chance have a meal at the local Rose & Crown community pub, food, staff etc all great but make sure you book first.

The homely feeling and a warm welcome from the host (Elizabeth) is most welcoming on our arrival it's sometimes a . The rooms are well equipped and comfy, makes a great stop over or extended stay , be aware no evening meal is provided but the breakfast is a belly filler plus a microwave and plates are provided to warm up a take out meal . Pictures of the conversion is a nice touch

I stayed for one night B&B, the room was a small double which was basic but clean. The problem was soundproofing, I could hear the neighbours next door on the toilet doing their business which was not a great experience. The floorboards were also creaky so as a result I got around 4 hours sleep. There are now good products on the market to soundproof walls internally which I think the owner should investigate. Breakfast was adequate.

Stayed here for one night as visiting Hexham races for the day . Very welcoming host ELizabeth who allowed us an early check in due to an afternoon start at Hexham races . Great choice and variety for breakfast espically homemade bread Couldn’t fault the room , loved the view into the barns watching the lambs . Very clean and a lot of toiletries and towels too Amazing value for money , would come back again when visiting Hexham . Good location

I very rarely write reviews so it's normally for one of the extremes. This B&B is extremely good. No need to write reams as it ticks all the boxes. Staying in the corner room, I had lovely views over the garden the lambing shed (they were quiet at night!) and the hills. The Rose & Crown served a lovely evening meal in equally pretty setting and friendly atmosphere in Slaley. Thank you for just doing everything well

My wife and I stayed for three nights and enjoyed it very much . Room with a bath was great with comfortable large double bed . Elizabeth , the owner was very good as she explained things adequately and seemed very efficient and helpful . The full English breakfast is very tastey and no problem if you require more , just ask Elizabeth . The Toast was also very nice . Would definitely recommend .
