We traveled by train so this hotel was perfect, very short walk from the main station, maybe 150 feet. We did not know check in was 3:00 so paid 15€ to check in early taking a lesser room for the same price. IBIS allows early check in / late checkout for a 90€ annual fee. Breakfast was basic so we skipped that. Unfortunately McDonalds next door closed about 4 months earlier. As for lunch, the Thai restaurant (Asia Box) in the main station was very good and there is a grocery store in the station too. Our room on the 1st floor was small but clean with 2 beds. The bathroom was very small but this is the only room we saw. Street noise was minimal. Train, tram and bus lines converge here so you cant beat the location. I suspect they have parking for a fee but because we arrived by train, I am not sure.

Close Proximity to Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (train station, just approximately 8 minutes walk). I am amazed at the complete furniture, even microwaves to cook our breakfast for the following day. More like an apartment than just a hotel. Nice stay
Our hotel is minutes from the riverfront, multiple transit stops, and Heidelberg’s main attractions. The historic sites, shops, and museums of Heidelberg Old Town are within walking distance, and Heidelberg Palace is within a 10-minute drive. We have over 6,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space, on-site dining, and an elevated executive lounge.

We were so glad to see this fully renovated hotel open in time for our visit to the Heidelberg Christmas Market (original opening date was projected for the end of December). The Hilton Heidelberg is an incredible facility, surpassed only by the amazing team working to provide the best possible experience! We have never been so graciously welcomed by so many on the team, including the General Manager, Remmie. Margarita and Katerina took great care of us during check in and were even able to upgrade us to a Junior Suite - what a welcome surprise! After settling in to our room, we had the pleasure of meeting Lubeth in the Executive Lounge who took care of every need and made us feel so welcome - always with a smile! The management team is definitely committed to hiring the best, but they are also clearly committed to leading by example. Vladimir (the restaurant manager) made a point of introducing himself and checking to be sure we were enjoying our stay and Sonja was so gracious when we were visiting the restaurant. Brent stopped by while we were in the Executive Lounge to be sure we were enjoying our visit and asked if there was anything he could do to help. Tim (a Heidelberg local) took time to share some of his favorite spots around town, as well as the hotel amenities and make sure we made the most of our time in town! I cannot remember another hotel stay where I could name more than 1-2 people on the staff - this team truly made us feel welcomed and valued! Thank you for a such a great experience!

Fairly mixed feelings about our stay in the hotel. Upon arrival after a long journey I was surprised to learn that our 3 night stay and breakfast and parking must be paid in full (despite my credit card details being shared upon booking). That didn’t feel particularly welcoming. The hotel is in a good location for the old town. That said each nights sleep was heavily disrupted by the noise outside from traffic and people shouting etc. The breakfast is extremely average. Those looking for a hot breakfast will be disappointed to be faced with scrambled egg, boiled carrots (!), poultry sausages. No bacon, beans, fried tomatoes, mushrooms, hash browns etc. The bread rolls are cheap pre-baked. The fitness room is a tiny room not worth venturing to. Free weights up to 10kg! Room the size of an old fashioned airing cupboard. The staff at the hotel are friendly and nice. Heidelberg is beautiful. We had a lovely time. But I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again. There are much nicer hotels in Heidelberg..!

The hotel was easy to reach from the Autobahn and there is enough parking space by the hotel. The parking is free and the rooms are nice, modern and big enough. The breakfast is OK and enough variety. We booked a second night, the staff is very nice and helpful. There is a tram nearby to get into town. We walked wich was a nice walk but far - therefor the old town is spread out a long woy. We took a ”lime scooter” back to the hotel - wich was fun - there a plenty room on the bikepathes. The hotel is nice and quited and the beds where good there I would recommend it. There is 24 hours check-in available.

My kid and I both enjoyed the authentic vibe of this historic hotel in the heart of Heidelberg. The central location was awesome, but we were immersed in the hustle and bustle of the restaurants below and the cleanup afterwards. It’s noisy (especially with open windows to catch the breeze) but not unexpected. Try to park in structure P12 as the hotel offers discount vouchers (10€/night) instead of the usual rate. We didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant but it looked lovely and the staff were all delightful, especially Dennis (who hooked me up with a much-needed coffee each morning and provided insider tips). Room Details: large size on the 3rd floor with two twin beds, a standing fan, fridge available but had to be plugged in, no coffee maker, no top sheets (but available in the hallway closet), bathroom had a corner shower, everything was clean.

First of all during this critical moments in the world due to the COVID 19 safety it’s out of great importance! This hotel has it, all personal where wearing masks and everyone is responsible. Very professional and friendly hotel personnel, I had a shower head problem and Hotel tech arrived in a min, replace it in the blink of an eye. I felt welcome safe and take good care of. With this review I would like to thank all the hotel stuff for doing such a great job and hope to see you again on my next booking.

We have stayed at this hotel several times. Despite booking well in advance, we were given a room facing the kitchen. As it was very hot, the exhaust fan was very loud when the window was open. After speaking to reception, the lady treated us professionally. Despite the hotel being fully booked because of a concert, we were given a quieter room. That's customer service, and that in a hotel with 330 beds!👍 The breakfast is extremely good and perfectly organized. Bravo to the management.

The Leonardo at Heidelberg-Walldorf was a wonderful find in a pleasant location. (It’s the one on Roter Str., not the one nearer Heidelberg.) It has everything you need for a weekend stay or for FRA airport (90 mins away). You do need a car to get there but parking is free. The rooms are large and have a small fridge, a safe and air-conditioning. There’s a TV with many international channels. The wi-fi is good. I found the bed very comfortable. In summer there’s an outdoor pool, which has a shallow end and is very suitable for children. There’s also an indoor pool, which is 1.5m deep and has no shallow end. Children need to be closely supervised there. Near the indoor pool is a sauna. There’s a bar, which isn’t always open because of the lack of local staff. However, the restaurant will serve drinks. The staff in the restaurant are wonderful, especially the host and hostess, who take great care to make sure that all the customers are well served. Since the restaurant is very popular, dinner reservations are essential. Breakfast reservations are a good idea too. Ms Hrg on the front desk was extremely helpful with everything. I really can’t think of anything that this hotel lacks for a nice relaxed stay.

Only one night, but very relaxing. The beds are very comfortable equipped with high quality mattresses. Windows are for self-opening. The bathroom is useful, but very clean. The location, in the middle of Wiesloch, well located to explore the surroundings walking. We were satisfied and would like to stay here again.

GGuest UserOne of or if not the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Amazing staff who let us store our bags as we arrived early and gave us great recommendations of what to do in town, things we otherwise never would have know about. Location is prime, right in the heart of town and under the Schloss. The hostel is in an odd house and has an extremely warm and homely feeling. Has amazing décor in the common room with old photos of travelers, book swaps and maps showing where past travelers have come from. Kitchen is also great, has many amenities and once again has an awesome feel to it. Bathrooms were of a very high standard. Free breakfast was amazing too. Rooms also has lockers. I would kill to be back here. Would 100% go back to Heidelberg and Lottes.
YYeziIt is indeed an aristocratic family's property with a 150-year operating history. This hotel is surrounded by several houses, so there is a courtyard with a fountain in the middle. The door is small, but it is beautiful inside. Because I booked a 30-square-meter double comfort room, which is 10 square meters larger than the ordinary room type, I paid special attention to it. At first, I was given room 326, which has a balcony, but the room area is very small. I went downstairs to negotiate in time. The front desk beauty service was very good. She took the other two room cards and asked me to choose one by myself. I chose 346, which is a corner room, much larger than the previous one. The toilet and bathroom are two separate rooms, which is very good. There is also a separate cloakroom. The room window faces the small garden, which is very beautiful. Because the hotel is composed of several houses, they also explained that each room and apartment are different. You can express your preferences when checking in next time. The breakfast is great. It is the best experience of my trip to Germany this time. Of course, the room price is also the most expensive. This is the first time I have seen a hotel with more waiters than guests. There are free drinks at breakfast. This is the only one I have encountered. Hotels run by aristocrats are different. They pay attention to every detail. As soon as you check in, they will put flowers, give you small desserts and welcome cards. All these details really make people feel happy from the bottom of their hearts!
GGuest UserWow. What a beautiful hotel with the nicest and most helpful staff I think I have ever met. So we were actually meant to be staying in an apartment in Heidelberg but the owner got in touch a few days before to say that there was an issue with it and can we stay in their sister hotel the BS boutique. We knew there had been lots of flooding the weeks before and I’m not sure if that is why but as we were offered a free breakfast and a partial refund we didn’t want to cause any stress so we accepted the hotel. Very glad we did as it was stunning and super clean with fantastic staff. Everything in this hotel is quality. The doors and windows had amazing sound proofing. Totally quiet at night and the comfiest beds and pillows. A big thank you for making our trip to Heidelberg special. It’s a beautiful city.
SSyarifah NurulWe booked this hotel last minute to visit Heidelberg, we are in shock when we go to the room because the room are well prepared & its cold! have aircond in it! We love all things in the room. all well. room with balcony, aircond, smart home functions, big flat tv with nexflix, coffee machine, kitchen & utensils. its complete like a studio house. The receptionist also so friendly. there is mistakes from Trip.Com state check out time at 12 but actually is at 11. then we not ready because we think the time was at 12. then they came & gave us time to check out. all so good for sure we will come again to this hotel.
GGuest UserConvenient location with easy access to both Autobahn and historic Heidelberg via tram stop just outside the door. Free, safe parking. Hotel owners trained in USA and speak fluent English. Unusual for a traditional German hotel, clean rooms are air-conditioned and accessible by elevator. Comfortable beds made for a great night's sleep. Wonderful breakfast included in price. Bar offers great food and astounding variety of spirits and cocktails. Car aficionados: take note of hood ornaments displayed in typically ”gemütlich” restaurant Stube. Wish we could have stayed for more than one night. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserI think this is a Hotel that could be easily overlooked. It is on top of a parking garage. But once you take the elevator to the hotel it looks nothing like the dingy and grimy outside of the parking garage. It is most welcoming decorated. The hotel staff was very friendly and english is no problem (I wouldn't be surprised that even other languages are spoken by the staff). Our room was very clean and had a great view of the castle and some of the historic buildings surrounding the hotel. The breakfast had a great selection of German cold cuts, fruit, cheese and many other things. The close proximity to the middle of town and to the Funicular to the castle (and the Christmas markets) makes this a great pick. I will makes this my hotel of choice when I return to Heidelberg.
韦韦Maintenance is underway near the railway station. In the past, the hotel had to cross a small bridge;
The room is more spacious. Compared with the hotels in Frankfurt, the heating in the room is sufficient. The front desk of the hotel has bread and coffee every day, which can be taken for free. The croissants are delicious;
The hotel breakfast is 10EUR/person, which is not suitable for the Chinese stomach and the variety is barren; there is a dining cart on the road in front of the hotel, and the roasted chicken legs are not bad, 2 euros apiece.
Overall recommendation.
IT IS A REGRET TO BOOK FROM THIS HOTEL. Since I wanted to celebrate my birthday in Heidelberg, a city I really want to visit, I made a reservation at this hotel to stay for 2 nights between 7-9 March. I was going to come to Germany either by plane from outside European countries. On March 7, there was a strike in Germany and the airports were closed. It was notified by the airline company on March 6 that our flight was canceled. We immediately informed the hotel about the situation and asked them to postpone our visit to April 7-9 and transfer the fee to this date, but they stated that the strike was not their problem and took the hotel fee for 2 nights from our credit card. Strike is an essential situation. In legal terms, this is called FORCE MAJEURE – “a common clause in contracts that essentially relieves both parties of liability or liability in the event of an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of the parties, such as a war, strike, riot, crime, or war.” In case of force majeure, standard procedures cannot be applied. The hotel guest is not responsible and cannot be punished. The Mille Stelle City hotel, which turned the strike into an opportunity, charging for a service it did not provide does not comply with business ethics and is a shameful situation. Although accommodation cannot be made due to force majeure, the fee collected from the guest is not a fair gain. It is against consumer rights and even human rights. My flight was canceled due to the strike in Germany, I could not enter the country, the hotel canceled my reservation and charged the fee. Moreover, despite all my communication efforts, they were treated indifferently, saying ”the strike is not my problem”. Our emails were not answered. Not only could I not celebrate my birthday, but I was also unfairly victimized. It was a birthday I will never forget in my life. If you do not want to regret it, never book this hotel, which does not have well-intentioned management. I made my complaints about the hotel through different institutions. And I will continue my complaints and articles about this hotel on every platform until I get my justice.
GGuest UserThis hotel is in an historic building. The ceilings are high and our room was a deluxe double and very spacious. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide variety of foods--from fresh baked bread, to make your own waffles, to cheeses, eggs and other foods. The staff at the buffet was very helpful and lovely. The hotel is well located just a few blocks from the Alstadt (old city) and it was easy to walk everywhere from there. It's also right next to the bus/tram station. However, a few things you need to know before you book this hotel. 1) The reception desk is only staffed until early evening. 2) Housekeeping is sporadic. We were there for 6 nights and the room was only cleaned once. 3) There is no air conditioning. We had a fan in the room and opened the windows and it was bearable at night, but not super cool. On a very hot day or night this could really be an issue. 4) With the windows open, it is really noisy, particularly because the bus and tram station is right across the street. 5) There is no shampoo or conditioner provided--only hand soap at the sink and body soap in the shower. However, there's a drug store across the street where you can get what you need. 6) There are small sets of stairs that you may have to go up and down on the floor where the rooms are. If you have mobility issues, try to ask about this when you book so that you get a room where this won't be an issue. We had a very nice stay, but those are things I would have liked to know before I booked, so I thought I'd include them in a review.
GGuest UserNice, small, simple hotel with very clean and spacious rooms. The reception is occupied from 15 - 19 a.m. with a very nice and extremely helpful young lady. Outside these times, contact with the staff is made by phone, but we didn't have to use it, because everything was in good condition. In addition, there are also contactless possibilities for check-in and check-out (e.g. electronic check-in terminal). We had booked two rooms (double and three-bed rooms). The very spacious double room was marked with very interesting ”Winter garden”-flair through a series of roof windows was equipped with a small kitchen, but we did not try it except for the coffee machine. Unfortunately, it was a little cold in the room as the heating did not entirely warm the whole volume. In the three-bed room our children had been in the room. Also here there was enough room and a coffee machine. The hotel is located near a train station. From there you are in a few stations at the Bismarck Square and can actually discover all Heidelberg conveniently. For cars the city is rather nothing. Also around the hotel are parking defects. The accommodation has just two guest parking places, each for €14 per day. According to the reception, a temporary parking card would also be for the respective city area for €10 per day available. That's why we didn't care. In the immediate vicinity there is a pizzeria ”Da Baggio” that looks very comfortable but probably is also well frequented. In any case, there was no place for us spontaneously. A few meters away, but still walking well to reach, the pizzeria is ”Da Vinci”. Prices are high, but the food is very delicious. For saving guests there is also a bridge service nearby.
