I stayed at Goldener Falke for a total of three nights last month with my 28-year-old son. Hotel was beautiful and in a location that cannot be beat - right on the square in Old Town and in the midst of many shops and restaurants. Our room was very nicely furnished and had everything we needed. Plus, it was exceptionally clean. Patrick at the front desk was very helpful, friendly, and professional. He assisted us with answering several "tourist" questions and always had a smile on his face. We did have dinner at the on-site restaurant one evening and the food and service were fabulous, We do plan to return to the delightful Heidelberg and will definitely stay at Goldener Falke again.

We stayed one night in this hotel for a brief visit of Augsburg. It was however further away from downtown Augsburg then we expected. The room was ok. Dark at night but one could only open the bathroom window as the room was overlooking a busy street. Breakfast was oke.

We thoroughly enjoyed this property! We had an excellent historic room on the top floor with a view over Marktplatz. We enjoyed the liveliness of the square below, and with the windows closed it wasn't overly loud late. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay again!

We had two rooms at this hotel. We really enjoyed the location...it is very convenient to the historic locations in Heidelberg. The restaurant downstairs is very good and we enjoyed eating there for breakfast and dinner. The main negative about the rooms are the showers are tiny. It worked fine, but there's not a lot of room in them for things like shaving, etc.

Goldener Falke was a great place to stay. We were there for 9 nights. It's cozy and comfortable and located right on the Marketplatz in Heidelberg. The staff were very helpful and responsive. The food is excellent. It's like a cozy Inn. There were no unwanted surprises. We booked over ******* and everything went as planned!

We had a lovely meal here on our visit to Heidelberg. Good servce. It is a prime spot for people watching and we saw a wedding!! It was a perfect place too, to have lunch before venturing up to the Castle

I stayed in three hotels on my recent trip to Germany. Though two of these were more in the luxury category, none of them were as comfortable as the Goldener Falke. Even though my room at the Goldener Falke faced a large plaza, I was never bothered by noise, and the room itself was very, very comfortable -- in fact, the bed was the most comfortable I slept in on the whole vacation. If you decide to stay here, be sure to add the price of the breakfast to your reservation. Their breakfasts, though simple, were very nice and by far the best of the hotel breakfasts I had on my vacation. Should I ever find myself in Heidelberg again, the Goldener Falke is where I will want to stay.
