We spent a very long day on the side of I-70, 8 miles from Hays while working on a trailer problem. At the end of the day we realized we’d need a place to stay while repairs were made. We are frequent Marriott guests and called to see if they could accommodate 5 of us. Meghan and Stacy at the front desk were kind and friendly. They went above and beyond to make our weary family comfortable. The room was clean and breakfast was great! Thank you for your hospitality!

Ok the road construction is a mess. That is not the hotels fault so negative there but good grief Kansas your “new”round-a-bouts are way worse than Colorado and there’s are dreadful. The hotel. Our room was very clean. Comfortable chairs. Bed was really comfy and that’s is a difficult one for me to like. Overall I loved my stay less the stupid construction.

Family run business and wonderful people. I was traveling with my dog and it was an easy stay. $15 pet fee room clean , beds comfortable and hot shower Breakfast had sausage egg fruit yogurt bagels cereal. Juice coffee. Everything you could expect. It is older ? It Is but we’ll kept and a safe place Everything in the room. Functioned. The door didn’t close in its own and needed to be closed. This was not a big deal but uou. Needed to check to secure. It. If this was my biggest issue for a $70 rate with breakfast, I’ll take it A couple restaurants in walking distance and more down the road. Great for a quick stay and a Great rate It’s a 2 floor hotel but no elevator. It’s only one flight of stairs. The queen rooms are first floor kings upstairs. Pick a queen if you need a downstairs floor. We had a lot of luggage so we stayed down. If your one that needs a new hotel with all the bells, you may not like this place. If you want clean, comfortable and affordable this place is a deal

Our room was quiet clean and comfortable. We were right next to the elevator and never heard it. The queen size bed was not too soft, not too hard, but juuuust right! The staff was friendly and very accomodating. Todd, Gwen and Rochelle did an outstanding job of making sure we had everything we needed. Excellent choice of breakfast items. The indoor pool was very clean and good temperature. .

The absolute worst experience at a Hilton. We booked a 2 queen bed room on line through Hilton website (not a 3rd party). Got to the hotel, picked up our key and went to the room to find one king bed. We had 3 adults traveling. Went back to the desk to show our reservation and we’re told there are no other rooms available. Ok, can we have a cot then. None were available and there was nothing the desk clerk could do to help. One adult would have to sleep on the floor. I called the Hilton main customer service to see what could be done as there was another Hilton across the street. It was also booked. I said I wanted to cancel the room and we would travel further down the road. The desk clerk said she couldn’t cancel it as it was already charged. I guess they don’t know how to issue a refund. Had she told us upon checking in we were not getting our 2 queen beds (which she clearly saw on our reservation) and no cots were available, we never would have checked in. I was told I could wait until 11 AM the next morning to speak to the manager. Apparently the hotel manager is the ONLY one who can provide a “resolution”. If they do not provide resolution within 3 days, Hilton will do a “write up”against the hotel. That’s the best they can do? Basically the hotel can choose to take responsibility or not and just get a write up? Zero responsibility from the hotel or Hilton? We sucked it up, one person had the luxury floor to sleep on. Go to the wonderful continental breakfast and all the coffee canisters were empty as well as the OJ and it was 8 AM! No one was around checking any breakfast items. We usually stay at Hilton’s on trips, are honors members and we’ve never experienced this lack of customer service or inconvenience. Hilton needs to step up and do better at resolving issues, not leaving it up to individual hotels and at the very least, a new manager is needed at this location!
