Thin walls seemed to allow sound to carry, which made it a bit difficult to sleep when there were noisy neighbors. "I was in Los Angeles for a layover, so I randomly found a hotel not far from the airport. I prepaid through Ctrip. I didn't have much expectation or idea, but the hotel front desk was still annoying. Their attitude was cold, which was understandable. Then they deducted $400 from me without saying anything. I found it strange and asked why the deposit was so high. They insisted that they didn't find the payment record for one room. I contacted Ctrip, and they said that the front desk deducted the deposit twice for one room. When I checked out the next day, the new front desk said that the money would be refunded. But when I looked at the bill today, it was still deducted. I had to contact Ctrip again to communicate."
