Amazing service. The people at the reception were super helpful & very friendly. The place had everything you need. They cleaned my room & provided new towels everyday. The old quarter is walkable- this location is great for people who don’t like the chaos down at the old quarter/lake Hoan Kirk part of the city.

The sanitation and other aspects are good, and the neighborhood is very convenient. But the room is not too big, it is really small.

The hotel is very clean, the service is very good, the location is in the city center, it is very convenient to go anywhere, recommended!

I had stayed in this hotel for 2 visits. The first visit was from 6 Nov (1 Night) and the second one was from 9 Nov to 11 Nov (2 Nights). For the first visit, i booked a Triple room with Balcony. The room was ok and i did not have any complaints. However, my second visit turned out to be extremely disturbing for us. We had booked a Family Suite. We reached the hotel at around 2 pm, but our room was not ready. In fact, the front desk guy could not even locate my reservation. To give him some time, I went out for lunch and returned back after an hour. The frnt desk guy showed me my room which was supposed to be a family room (according to him). However, there was some luggage in the room. As such, I refused to enter the room since I did not want to enter into trouble with the other guest, whose luggage was kept in his room. So, I informed him to give me some other family suite, which he could not give. SO, we had no choice but to occupy the triple room with Balcony for our stay. Obliviously, we requested the front desk to refund back (not the entire money - but the difference between the two rooms). However, he refused to do it and spoke very rudely and asked us to cancel the room. However, I did not want to waste my money since it was a non redundable booking and I had on option but to stay in the hotel. We asked for face napkins (A basic thing which every 3* hotel is expected to have). However, they did not have any such thing. The breakfast was also very basic and not to the bare minimum standard of a 3 star property. Seeing the limited options for veg (not the hotel's fault that some of us are veg), we asked for honey. However, the hotel did not even have honey, which is to be applied to the bread. And this is only the beginning of the story. The hotel forgot to collect payment from us for our first visit. I returned back to India and the front desk staff contacted me for the payment. By that time, I had posted a very brief feedback about the property on some booking portal. I readily agreed to pay and made the payment. The moment the payment was made, the tone of the frot desk staff changed dramatically. He started calling me names and threatened to broadcast my negative feedback everywhere in Vietnam (i have whatsapp to prove my claims about this). However, I refused to take back my feedback and have gone ahead to post it on tripadvisor. I will not advise anyone to stay or not to stay in this property since everyone is his or her best judge. However, i felt that a front desk guy threatening people for giving a honest feedback does not go down well in any service industry. The basic thing which they could have done is to speak to us to understand our concerns and resolve it to the best of their ability. However, they chose the other way of threating to defame my name unless I do not take back my review on the othe site.

Santa babara is one of the best hotels compared to the price a customer spent that I have ever been to. Nice, luxurious, clean room. The hotel staff is very dedicated, there is a receptionist named Phong who makes me very impressed because of the attentive and professional service style1. If I have the opportunity to come, I will definitely choose santa as my place to rest.

It's just worth a night's stay.

Many differences in room quality. We were in group and there were problems on several rooms ( hot water, heating ...) My room was above the reception ... extremely noisy with the doors that cry and the discussions ... I reported it and the 2nd night was The room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean and the room was very clean. I was only scheduled to stay for a few days but stayed there for almost two weeks. It was clean and quiet. They took such good care of me. I did not miss their-made-to-order breakfast because it was truly great value and the best part of of my stay (Try the omelette or the soup). The staff was flexible and totally present whenever I had a need going beyond the call of duty! I would definitely book this spot again. It was super easy to walk to nearby West Lake, restaurants and my favorite… Hanoi Bookworm Bookstore!

Super cost-effective! The map is between Hoan Kiem Lake and West Lake. I thought it would be remote, but it was actually in a large courtyard in an alley in the busy urban area. There are two bedrooms, one living room and one bathroom. There is a kitchen and dining room, shampoo, toothbrushes, no disposable slippers, trash cans are cleaned every day, bath towels and bottled water are refilled, and linen is not changed. Walk to 36xing Street for 5 minutes, Hoan Kiem Lake, Old Town, Night Market, Tong Xuan Market for 15 minutes, and Confucian Temple for 20 minutes. In short, most of the attractions are within walking distance. The airport uses Grab to take a taxi, 270,000 VND, 80 yuan. Hotel front desk service is super good! The surrounding area is full of Hanoi cuisine.
