Hotels in Lake Ashi, Hakone

Very happy with the hotel. Nice, clean room. Location wise is pretty good, accessible by public transport, hotel provide 2 way shuttle bus on request from odawara station and hotel. Buffet breakfast and dinner is excellent, good variety of Japanese and western food, free of alcoholic and non- alcoholic drinks. Location is next to Lake Ashi , nice view from hotel. There are eateries and shops down the road from hotel. Highly recommended. Definitely would come back again for future trips with family and friends.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel with friends in late Nov for 3 nights. Reckoned we were upgraded to a Japanese room facing Mt. Fuji.. just a shame it wasn't snow capped. The room slightly dated but comes with all the amenities. The buffet breakfast & dinner were good & quality, quite a spread as well. The Onsen with an outdoor section was good as well.

The hotel overall is good, will recommend to my friends. Guestrooms: A bit old style, no USB port, had to bring travel adaptor (I am not sure that whether can borrow from hotel because I have brought the adapter) Public bath: It has indoor and open air pool, amenities are completely Breakfast : The breakfast at French restaurant ”Vert Bois” is delicious, it serves individually, not buffet style. Location : The walkway to attraction is uneven and doesn't have street light along the way, so it will be dangerous if you walk in rainy days or night, especially if you have kids. Services : The plus point is the shuttle bus, it can pick you up at Motohakone Port, after 19:30 still can contact them to arrange for pick up.

A great place to relax and a stop to travel for Mount Fuji Five Lakes. As we travel by rent vehicle, it is another isolating place from urban to feel the beauty of nature. The outdoor hot spring is the best corner of the hotel. Meanwhile, the Japanese breakfast is definitely one of the best in our 6 days trip.

The staff were all very kind and I had a comfortable stay every day. Thank you. It's a clean, classic hotel, and many of the guests were laid-back, so I felt very relaxed. I went sightseeing during the day, but next time I think it would be nice to relax on the lounge's veranda. The breakfast buffet was also delicious. I loved the curry and stew. I arrived in Hakone by public transportation, so it was very convenient that the hotel's free shuttle service ran from Togendai until the evening. The shuttle service to Togendai after check-out was also very convenient. There was something like a bus stop near the hotel, so next time I would like to check the bus schedule so that I can enjoy sightseeing more flexibly. There didn't seem to be any restaurants nearby, so I'll do some research on that next time.

A very good traditional Japanese inn, with few people and beautiful scenery. The one-night-two-meals arrangement is very considerate, and the menu for each meal is different. The restaurant has Chinese waiters, which is convenient for communication. The only thing to remind you is transportation. The hotel is a little off-site and public transportation is not convenient. You need to contact the hotel in advance to find out the hotel shuttle bus schedule. It is most convenient to take the hotel shuttle bus directly from Odawara Station to the hotel.

Perfect, perfect, perfect! The view is perfect, the facilities are perfect, and the hygiene is perfect. What better time to relax than soaking in the hot spring while watching Mount Fuji? I hope I can come again in the future! It is impossible to live in this room type for 5 months, and it is just right for a family of 3 or 4. There are 3 improvements in hygiene: 1) The lamps in the restaurant are very dusty 2) There is dust in the microwave 3) The fabric sofa has stains and the frequency of deep cleaning should be increased after washing. In addition, it would be more perfect if a Bluetooth speaker could be provided.

Location was good. Mount Fuji view from the room. You are able to see the whole lake. Check in staff was detailed and informative. But nobody was there to help with bags. There’s a few steps up to the lobby and there’s not slope for us to push the luggages. We drag it up and down ourselves.  Not much selections with food. Breakfast was bad and expensive. Dinner was okay at French restaurant. Good thing was there’s an onsen in the hotel. Parking was free.
