We picked this ryokan because it had its own private onsen in the room. We had the Musigny room. We were welcomed with some champagne and snack on our arrival. The package included dinner and breakfast. Both were served in our room and were delicious. The staff were also very helpful. We would definitely come back to stay here again. The only improvement I would suggest is the cupboard doors in our room to be fixed. However, the accomodation left a great memory for our trip to Hakone.

We had an amazing time on a quick couples retreat. Gorgeous view, incredible and innovative local food, kind service and hot, perfect private bath. Didn’t even get around to checking out the communal bath since we were so tired and lazy. Perfect place to retreat. Also ordered in-room massages which were excellent. My only feedback is that they should replace the rugs and carpets in the room. They’re getting a bit dingy. Also it was unclear, are the restaurants closed post-covid? Food service in room was great though. But otherwise perfect and will be back!!

The staff was very kind and polite, the room was clean, and the food was delicious, making it a satisfying trip.
It is a ryokan that makes you want to stay again.
The room was on the mountain side and I couldn't enjoy the view, but it was a calm and comfortable space as if I was staying in the forest.
However, insects such as winged ants tend to gather in the light in the summer, so I recommend using an insect repellent on the shelf.

I had stayed there a long time ago and it was great so I revisited. Thank you for the pleasant hospitality that I expected without disappointing. What was different from the last time was that dinner was served in the room, but I was impressed by the thoughtfulness and ingenuity of keeping it cold so that it wouldn't get cold even though the timing was difficult. When the coronavirus calms down, I would like to have a leisurely meal at the restaurant while listening to everyone's stories.
