Beautiful resort in the middle of a remote forest area, perfect for relaxation and connecting with nature. The rooms are cosy and clean. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with chefs preparing freshly made dishes right in front of you! We did find a bug in the room but the hotel is in the middle of the nature so we didn't mind really. The onsen was ok but it was not mixed. Note that if you are not arriving by car and you have luggage, the hotel is uphill so better contact the staff in advance so they can arrange a pick up for you.

The hotel's condition doesn’t match the photos you can find online. It is not well maintained, the garden and trees are not taken care of, and the facility is getting old with molds and paint peeling in the rooms. Extremely cheap room speakers, no television, cheap hairdryer, cheap amenities. Not what we are expecting for such a price. I paid 95,000¥ for one night without dinner included. Overpriced.

The hotel is quite good overall, elegant and clean, especially the boy who greeted us with good English on the night we first arrived was very thoughtful and cute. The breakfast was also good, and the whole atmosphere and smell were very good. There was an episode that made me very uncomfortable. The next afternoon, when I was drinking afternoon tea, I found a woodlice in the cup. I told the service staff of the cafe that the cups were all clean. I was very upset. I am not particularly afraid of insects, otherwise I would probably scare the guests in the cafe. I don’t want to affect other people’s emotions, and I don’t want to blackmail anyone. This explanation makes people uncomfortable. She started by giving me a bag of snacks for 200 yen, but I didn’t take it. I asked for a small bottle of beer to calm my nerves. There was no other compensation. Seeing that the girl was a compatriot, I felt that it was not easy for her to work in a foreign country, so forget it.

This is the hotel I will go to again when I come to Hakone. It's so beautiful and the service is great. We arrived very late and the staff recommended restaurants to us and drove us there. It was great!

It was perfect. Loved the Onsen, though I had no other experience before. Comfortable bed, my room had a stove, cozy.
It was located deep in the forest, about 6 minutes walk to the bus stop.
15 minutes walk to the combi.
The staff was very friendly.
