Hakone Yumoto Onsen Hotel Maille Coeur Shogetsu

It was my second time using it. We enjoyed a fusion of Japanese and Western cuisine, starting with a variety of appetizer plates. Last time, we drank a set of three beers, but this time we chose three wines recommended by the sommelier. We had a variety of appetizers and course menus served in small portions, and drank wine.The timing of the food and the three types of wine was perfect, and we were able to enjoy dinner from beginning to end while listening to live piano music. When it came to appetizers, we drank a little quickly, and the second wine was brought quickly, but the pace was really good until the last tea. Last year I stayed on December 23rd, and this time I stayed on December 25th, and when I compared the food with last year's photos on my smartphone, I found that some of the menu items were the same, but there were also different items that I enjoyed. However, I thought the overall size was smaller. It seems that the main dish has also become much lighter. However, since this is an inn that is very popular with women, it is best to enjoy a large number of dishes in small portions, so men should be content with it as long as the women enjoy it. However, the last meal, Yadukiku Gohan, can be refilled as much as you like, so you can adjust accordingly. I didn't get refills because I'm getting older and losing weight and taking alcohol. This time, there were several hall staff wearing training badges, and although they had some difficulty answering questions, they were smiling and serving customers without any problems. Also, I don't know if it was the staff leader or the person in charge, but they provided me with a sparkling Italian wine that wasn't on the menu, and a non-alcoholic drink for my wife who can't drink. For breakfast, we enjoyed the same variety of buffet options including omelets and grilled fish. What I liked most was the black soybean natto, which I had only eaten here. The marquetry products on the second floor are becoming more expensive and in short supply throughout Hakone due to the coronavirus. I would definitely use it again.

　昨年12月に目の前の「玉庭」以来の箱根宿泊でした。箱根は短い休暇ができるたびに泊まりに行きますが、祥月は他のホテル、旅館に比べて女性向けに特化した宿でしたが、男性でも、女性向けの設定が、かえって心地いいものでした。 　スタッフの方に聞いたら、女性客が８割と言うことで、男性が少なく、大浴場も空いていて、夕方は1人での利用で、出るときにもう１名きた程度で、朝も４人が最大でした。 　お風呂の湯温も熱すぎず、長く入っていられます。今回は、12/23宿泊でしたが、風が強く露天風呂では風音が激しく、風が吹くと肩まで湯に漬からないと寒かったです。 　翌朝、男女入れ替えで大浴場が変わったのですが、朝、寒かったからか露天風呂の湯温が高かったように感じました、ジャクジーが片方にしかないので、スペースがあるので両方に欲しいところです。脱衣所に水の他、低温設定のお茶もあるのがよかったです。 　一番評価したいのが夕食です。前菜が大皿に小分けで多数乗っているのが斬新で、いろいろと試したい女性には喜ばれるでしょう。私は、温泉を楽しみたいので、普通、ビールを1杯～2杯しか飲まないのですが、多彩な前菜群のおかげで、3種のビールセットは前菜で3杯飲んでしまい、その後も料理を楽しみながら箱根ビールをすべて飲みました。 　前菜が多彩で、小分けなの他、飲み比べビールも250ｍｌという小型サイズなのも良く、食事、ビールと大変楽しめました。味はもちろん、大変美味しかったです。社員旅行以外で、こんなにおいしくお酒、料理を楽しめたことはありませんでした。 　ホールスタッフの接客も非常に良く、洋食スタイルでの「おもてなし」を受けているようでした。ピアノ演奏も相まって本当に夕食を楽しめました。 　朝食も、手を差し入れるだけのビニール手袋装着マシーンに感激した後は、多彩な朝食バイキングを堪能できました。おいしいものが多く、てんぷらはもっと食べたかったですが、胃が負けました。 　今回は大変満足した旅行でした。最後にあえて助言を申し上げるなら、朝食前にもらう料理の配置表に回る矢印があればよかったです。床に矢印ありましたが、気が付かず1回少し逆走して料理とってしまいました。配置表には入口が2か所あったので、左からまわってしまいました。 　クリスマスツリーの着ぐるみを着たスタッフ、フロントスタッフ、レストランスタッフの皆様方とても素晴らしかったです。 　ただ1点。チェックアウト時にカードキーを返して、明細の確認を求められた時に、夕食時の飲み物代約5000円分が入って無く安かったので、スタッフの方に請求が少ないと言おうとして、よく見たら明細の氏名が違って他の客さんのものでした。 　次回、うまく空きがあり予約とれたら絶対また泊まりたいです。箱根湯本の常宿の一つとして楽しみたいです。
