The hotel is not new, but we liked the price-quality ratio.
You can walk to the hotel from Tōgendai Station along a well-equipped asphalt path in about 15 minutes (about 750 meters). The climb is not very steep.
It would probably be easier to walk from Ubako Station, but we did not try.
There is a T bus stop next to the hotel. The bus runs every 15 minutes until 8 pm.
The dinner at the hotel is excellent. The breakfast is ordinary, there are European and Japanese dishes.
The hotel has 4 private onsen. They are open 24 hours. No need to book.
There is also a public onsen, for men and women. We were in the children's one.
The windows of the rooms overlooking the garden offer a side view of Fuji.
There is a magnificent garden next to the hotel. During our stay, we saw azaleas.
Of the disadvantages, I can only note the unpleasant smell in the hotel. Most likely the carpet that covers the floor has absorbed the smell of cigarettes and old age, it is not a young hotel.
But overall we really liked it.
