Tokyu Stay Hakodate Asaichi Akarinoyu Reviews

I have booked 2 different rooms for 3 nights. I was told to check out on the 2nd day at 11am and come back to check in again for the new room but the check in time was unsure. On the day, when I checked out at 11am, the staff gave me the new room Key already - so the new room was already ready. It would Be much better if I was being informed in advance so that I didn’t need to carry my luggage’s to the lobby and go back up to the same floor when the new room was actually next to my Old one………

The location was excellent - 3mins walk from the station, right next to the morning market and a Lawson. Washer/dryer in the room was a huge plus, though the pre-set drying was not enough. The onsen was relatively small but the infinity onsen made up for it.

Excellent hotel with great location and view of the harbour. The room size is big and clean. It’s just beside the fish market.

Centrally located. Exactly opposite the morning market. Very strict on check in time and parking and parking time. One minute earlier ended up paying extra 100 yen. The washing machine is a bonus and very good indeed.

This hotel located 7 minutes walk from Hakodate Station. In winter, I don’t really recommend this hotel if you are coming from the station and walk to hotel with big luggages as the snow will be everywhere and it will be so hard to carry around the big luggages in the snow. However, I didn’t regret for choosing this hotel because the staff was so lovely, and the room is very comfortable with microwave and washing machines provided so I didn’t have to go outside the room for using microwave and washing machines. This hotel also have onsen at the upper floor, but I didn’t get a chance to using it. Heater also works well in the room. And for the room cleaning, they will only clean your room if you stay more than 2 nights. Lawson is nearby, only need 3 minutes walk. And if you like seafood, Hakodate Morning Market is very near from the hotel.

Good location if you want to visit morning market. Breakfast coupons given for 16 stalls selection at morning market.

Location is very good, near to the market and not far from the JR. There is a onsen ( not big one ) on the top floor which can see the whole view of the city. There is a drink machine providing coffee and hot chocolate on the 17th floor, mocha taste good too.

Very good experience indeed to have a trip in Japan, will definitely go Acadian!

Booked Twin room + Extra bed. Location is great, just beside the morning market! Room is spacious and clean. And the view of the ocean/port is amazing! Lots of amenities including public onsen on the top floor as well as free washer + dryer in room, with detergent provided as well. Will come back if I’m ever visiting Hakodate again!

The tie up with the local market vendors to provide all day dining is just brilliant! The design of having the public bath looking out to the harbour is priceless!

A stunning hotel in Hakodate. Near to morning market, very clean, and great amenities.

Location is convenient, close to the station, tram and morning market. Staff were friendly and helpful. The lounge on 17th floor has good view of the city. Onsen was relaxing, much needed after full day exploring. Really enjoyed our stay!

Within 8 mins walk from JR Hakodate station. A bit quiet in the area nearby. There is a Lawson within 200m away it’s always convenient for a late night snakes. Tram station also nearby within 7-8mins walk. Impressive lounge and also offer free tea and coffee within certain periods of time.
