Haiphong Hotels with Swimming Pools

Arrived on Dec. 30th. and welcomed by Mr. Huy, front desk manager, with his captivating smile. I enjoyed two blissfully wonderful days. Mr. Billy, Food and Beverage Manager, was so kind, during my first breakfast. The meal to welcome 2022 was superb. Master Chef Kenny presented a most imaginative and mouth watering menu of delight. We started with a scrumptious pumpkin and salmon tart, followed by a flower crab salad with red lump caviar, and delightful bursts of passion fruit. An ingenious mushroom soup was next with scampi prawn and lobster bisque. For me, a life lover of fungi, this was a new experience of wonder. We then enjoyed a beautiful salmon dish served in a rich and tasty broth. Fillet Mignon and death by chocolate completed the food symphony of delight. Take a bow chef Kenny! . Later on we all enjoyed a quiz and welcomed in the New Year in a Japanese fashion with lots of bubbly. Finally, thank you Minh Trang, at reception, for finally Seeing on my way back to Hanoi.

An incredible set of buildings with a huge range of facilities, including many pools, beaches, restaurants and bars. Unfortunately the level of service does not match the quality of the building and although there are many members of staff, they are often not doing anything or just on their phones. This meant things like ordering drinks or paying for activities such as water sports hire took a long time or was very difficult. No table service, even when we were the only people in the bar. Often drinks had to made in another part of the hotel and so took a very long time to arrive. Loud music played on the beach every morning from 0720, so worth asking for a room at the back the hotel if you don’t want to be disturbed. A lot of the features seemed to be for “show” rather than properly supported. The arcade for example, looks great but most machines were broken or switched off and people were more interested in posing for photos rather than the actual functionality of the equipment. Gym looks nice in photos but limited equipment. Similarly, a swim up bar in the indoor pool looked promising, but not stocked or staffed. Pool tables on the roof top bar look nice, it terrible quality if you actually want to play pool! That said, pools were very nice, beach was nice and water lovely. A lot of rubbish on the beach, but sadly this is true across most of Ha Long Bay. Easy access to the town centre of Cat Ba by using electric taxi service outside the hotel at 10,000 VND per person each way. Several restaurants , bars and tour companies in the town. Room quality was excellent, especially with the sea views; price included buffet breakfast and dinner which made it pretty decent value for money.

The hotel is located in the center of Hai Phong city, covenient for travelling around. Customer service is very nice and friendly. The TV automatically turns on when I come back feels interesting. There is a lot of delicious restaurants around the hotel. Also it is suitable for business trip!!

After 5 years in Vietnam, this is by far the absolute best hotel we’ve experienced to the point that it’s our #1 wedding venue for the future. This property has the ability to transform the hospitality culture in Vietnam. If you are not used to being in VN yet, I ask you understand 5 star hotels are a different culture here and practice a little bit of patience. Please remember, this is an island that’s not convenient to travel to daily for work, so most of the employees are coming directly from the island, which makes it hard to find outstanding English speakers, but it seems they’re really starting to develop their staff. The food, incredible. I would suggest the filet mignon to everyone, and actually liked it more than the ribeye. The breakfast was a wide variety for slow season. The Spa was a wonderful experience. Breathtakingly beautiful views and properties, as well as the cleanest beach I’ve ever seen in Vietnam(it’s private!). 3 pools, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Steam Room all are free for guests. 3 bars, 2 restaurants (book Japanese early and place your order early. Traditional Japanese food takes time to prepare properly) My one piece of constructive criticism as one with experience in 4 diamond hotels is a sense of urgency. This again goes back to a 5 star experience in VN and other countries. While the staff were amazing, a few really stood out with their English skills and sense of urgency. Uyen, Tuan, Dung, Nhi, Phuong and Minh were all wonderful and I appreciate their hard work to make our stay enjoyable. I do suggest tipping a little bit as it does go a long way. ***Most places in VN do not tip.*** I only tip if I see a space for a tip on the receipt or in a taxi during rush hour.

Best hotel in Haiphong, I like that floor-to-ceiling window looking at the city view from my room is superb. Great staff great service and bar at the hotel

In terms of décor and comfort, this was the loveliest boutique hotel we stayed in during our 25 days visiting Vietnam. We stayed 2 nights in a suite room which was like a studio apartment – very spacious with a separate living area. We ate dinner at The Bonne Vie restaurant on site which offered good variety of both Vietnamese and Western dishes on their menu and the food was very tasty. Staff were, at all times, efficient and friendly. Reception and Restaurant staff spoke very good English. I would highly recommend this hotel to our family, friends and work colleagues visiting Hai Phong.

We had planned on staying at this hotel for just a couple of nights but extended our stay and then returned later in our trip as it was so fantastic. The beautiful hotel is situated in a lovely, landscaped area of Hai Phong with many restaurants and a mall just a short walk away. The rooms were large, very clean and quiet. They also have a balcony where there are tables and chairs. The breakfast - included in the price of our room - was excellent with a wide choice of foods. What really makes this hotel stand out is the incredible service given by all the staff; especially those working on reception. They were incredibly friendly, helpful and researched and found solutions for our travel plans. This hotel is a real gem, do visit if you can.

We were satisfied at check in from reception, bell boy & security who help us to open car'door and guide for parking, receptionists were so warm and kind, helping for luggages. We were very impresive with the room's space, all facility clean, good arrangement. My wife love the washing machine 😍😍😍 Everything here was perfect, thanks to service staffs full of supported requires & introduction of local cusine restaurants. The room's equipment would be perfect for a long stay family.

I encountered some difficulties in finding a specialty of Hai Phong as a gift. 2 receptionists Ha My and Thanh Hang enthusiastically assisted, contacted, texted, and saved me; helped my experience at the hotel more fun and wonderful. Especially you two are very lovely and fresh, wish our Hotel more and more success.

Facilities: Older, but there are some. The supplies are better and meet the 4-star standard. Hygienic: very clean, cleaned every day, daily necessities are in place. Environment: very beautiful and quiet, there is a courtyard in the middle, more private. Located in the city, easy to get in and out, and convenient to eat out. Service: Very good. The front desk and service staff will speak English.
