Hotels in Century Bridge/Qilou Old Street/Jiefang West, Haikou

I especially praise the cleanliness of the room, the simple but ok breakfast, the good front desk service, the great location, and the close proximity to everywhere. The front desk also enthusiastically introduced some attractions and local delicacies, which was very considerate. I have to give it a thumbs up!

I am specifically thankful for the help we need from lady ( tourist guide) from the hotel to arrange a taxi from Haikou to Sanya. For the tourist abroad facing a problem with apps call WeChat with this all the payments can be done. It is widely used in China. I downloaded it from Europe but can not connected bank card from a non Chinese bank.

The place is at the great location of Haikou, on the old street. You can find anything you want there. It is close to the electric bicycles if you want to cycle somewhere. The place is also accessible by car. The rooms were clean, the toilets either. There were shower appliances too. There is a coffee shop downstairs with multiple seats and electric plugs if you need to work. In the evening, the bar is opened with live music. The only downside was maybe the tenants who liked to listen to the Tiktok music or watch videos loud. But, compared to other places I went in China, it was a very minor issue. Recommend to everyone!

I was shocked when a room service staff flung opened my door (my 2nd day)when I was changing to go out. My door was locked from inside, the Do not disturb was on but the staff opened the door without even warning. I was in my underwear, she, claimed she did not see the sign.. I was so shocked ,the door was locked from inside. I didnt know service staff could just opened Guest rooms at her own discretion, voice my displeasure to the Manager on my way out but she did get back to me after claiming her staff opened my door even though my Do not disturb was on, sbecause Guests sometimes press that button wrongly. I am really disappointed with their approach. The room service staff wasn't really apologetic and insisted she didn't see the Do not disturb sign! She should have made very sure before opening my door with her set of keys. Imagine the worst, if it was a couple in room and she just flung opened the door!

There was a boy who had been helping us carry our luggage from check-in to check-out. It seems to be their housekeeper. When we left, the manager personally sent us to the door of the store. It was too enthusiastic. There were disinfection cabinets and refrigerators in the room. It was too good for my mother. For us to live comfortably, we also upgraded the parent-child room for us. The hotel is newly opened, very close to the arcade, and the transportation is very convenient. The parking lot at the door is large. The hotel is next to the park. We asked for a room on the park side, which was very noisy. The park played loudspeakers from morning to night. The hotel staff was very friendly, the doorman helped us carry our luggage to the car, and breakfast was very convenient. The morning tea at Longquan Courtyard next to it was very delicious. Breakfast is also available on the 11th floor of the hotel.

This B&B is located in the core street of Qilou Old Street. It is extremely convenient to eat the most famous Dad’s Tea, experience the old street culture, go shopping, etc.! The facilities in the store perfectly integrate Hainan style, Nanyang style during the Republic of China and modern taste, and are full of literary and artistic style. The smart parent-child room I chose is very clean. It is a quiet place in the bustling neighborhood. The smartest experience in the whole house is so satisfying, especially the smart toilet, which automatically lifts the lid, heats the gasket, and flushes automatically. It is so trouble-free. So clean. What is particularly worth mentioning is that the waiters in the store, such as the eldest and the youngest, are warm and considerate and responsive to all requests. They even gave the children free spring drinks when they left the store, which was so heart-warming. 🥰🥰🥰👍👍👍

It is very close to Qilou Old Street, and there is a commercial street downstairs. It is very convenient for shopping and eating. When it rains in Haikou, I really feel the humidity. Northerners are not used to it, but the quilt is not damp. The front desk guys and waiters are very enthusiastic, the bed is very wide, just like the picture description, suitable for bringing children, and the price/performance ratio is pretty good!

The location of the hotel is very good. You can see the scenic spot Wanluyuan opposite in 5 minutes on foot. The starting price of a taxi is that you can go to Qilou Old Street. If you are further afield, you can go to Xixiu Beach or Baishamen Park or Haida Night Market for 20 yuan. For eating and shopping, there are Vientiane City and China World Trade Center nearby. It is a ten-minute walk to the popular Friendship Sunshine City and Shangbang Parkway City. There is also the headquarters of Coconut Tree Group nearby. The internal facilities are newly renovated, including smart toilets, light controls, and curtains. The lobby is neat and clean, and the front desk service is also very good. Children's slippers and toothbrushes are provided, which is very cost-effective.
