What a disappointing stay in the great city of Haarlem. Let start with the best part: location, in the middle of the city with shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel it self is really a terrible place to stay. When we opened the door of the room located at the top floor of the hotel we were greeted by a foul sewage smell. The room was filthy and everything in the room busted, lose of on its way. For 230euro a night this was really not worth the money.

I booked the room for 3 nights. Nice hotel - location is in the city center! Very kind and friendly stuff! My room was really nice, with modern and clean bathroom, clean and fresh sheets and comfy bed! Excellent! 10/10

I stayed here with my friends in early September 2022. Because of the Formula 1 in Zandvoort, the hotels were very expensive, but this hotel delivered no value for that money! We paid 1600 euros for two nights. Then you think you are getting something good. The pictures are attractive, the surface seems ok, as well as the facilities, but unbelievably, what a disappointment this was. Very strange impersonal reception. You walk straight into the hotel. There is no security or anything, even though it is right in the centre. That seems nice, but in practice it is very noisy. It was also very noisy inside the hotel. There were not even windows in the rooms. There was a small Dyson fan that did not have enough capacity to keep the room cool. Moreover, it always went out after a few minutes. To make matters worse, it was not very clean. We didn't sleep a wink. One of our friends left for The Hague after the first night. I really think that you should not rent out a room like that. That is why I am posting this review. It is overpriced, dirty, hot and expensive. Don't do it!

I had a very pleasant stay here. I came here to study for a very important exam. The room was very clean and the location is perfect. All important places such as a supermarket and a drugstore are located nearby the hotel! Also the contact with the owner was good. Now I am here for a second time.

Dear people, last week we were guests in this hotel. It was a very special experience. I don't understand the positive reviews at all. When we arrived there were two junkies in the vestibule where anyone can just enter. Finally, after insistence, they left. When I rang the bell around 3:10 PM the rooms were not ready yet. I got a big mouth when I said something about it (check-in time 3pm). Ultimately we were only able to enter around 3:45 PM. What we found was really not okay. The bathroom was really not cleaned properly. Hair in the shower, traces in the toilet bowl. The bed sags. There is really a lot of noise in the city center. The curtains let light through. Didn't sleep a wink. The next day we reported our complaint and were told that we should have done so immediately. And whether we wanted to sit ringside for a dime. And while there really are cheaper (and therefore better) options. When we indicated that we wanted to post a bad review on Booking, they suddenly became very sweet. We really don't recommend this hotel! No value for money and unfriendly people.

Beautiful room in the middle of Haarlem, approximately 50 meters and you are on the Grote Markt and in the middle of the shopping street. A bit noisy in terms of street noise, but not disturbing. The hotel had not contacted me to say they had found it. I contacted them myself and in the end the airpods were sent to me (because the hotel found it a lot of trouble) after I had to pay 17.50 EU (!!!). A bit of customer friendliness and service is definitely missing. All in all, we would not recommend this place to stay.
