"This was my first visit to Fuzhou, and after extensive online research, I settled on the Shangri-La. Its location is absolutely fantastic, making it incredibly convenient to get to all attractions. Plus, you can even watch the flag-raising ceremony right from your room! As expected from a well-established, star-rated hotel, the service was impeccable; every staff member provided exceptional assistance. After check-in, Besty, in particular, offered outstanding service throughout my stay. When I accidentally left an item behind at check-out, they even helped mail it back to me. Overall, I was extremely pleased with my trip to Fuzhou!"

This hotel, centrally located and incredibly convenient for getting anywhere, truly left a great impression. It's just a 20-minute subway ride from Fuzhou Station, right at the D exit of Chating Station, literally 100 meters away. Super convenient! 👍
As soon as I arrived at the hotel entrance, I saw the hotel restaurant setting up a food stall. I love seafood, and seeing those huge abalones and oysters, I bought six in one go. I'm not a huge fan of garlic, so I was a bit hesitant seeing so much of it. The abalone was 12/piece, and oysters were 14/piece. Back in my room, I devoured them. The aroma was incredible, and there wasn't even a hint of raw garlic. The chef clearly put thought into balancing the garlic flavor, it was perfectly done. I even bought four more the next day! 😁 They were genuinely delicious. If they're still offering them next time I stay, I'll definitely buy them again. 😊
P.S. Why did I give the service a 1-star rating? Because I commented that the 90 RMB roast duck at the 6F restaurant was very salty, and the restaurant actually accused me of asking for a refund 🥴🥴🥴. That's incredibly off-putting, is that what they call service? Since this restaurant is in the hotel, I'll review it here too, and let's see how they review me. I even mentioned that maybe roast duck isn't the chef's specialty and suggested they learn from Hong Kong's roast goose. Don't be so arrogant! 🤫🤫🤫
Finally, a big thank you to the meticulous service from the hotel front desk and the conscientious attitude of the lobby manager. I hope they continue to provide guests with a high-level service experience, and perhaps the staff at the 6F restaurant could learn from the lobby's service standards. 😊 When facing guests, don't just sit there pointing fingers; is that what they call showing respect?"

"The location is amazing, very close to Sanfang Qixiang, but very quiet on the Zhuzi Alley side. It was converted into a hotel a few years ago. It has only 38 rooms, small but exquisite. The staff are very friendly. During the National Day holiday, I took the children to do handicrafts. Because we checked in before the National Day, they upgraded our room type. Thank you very much."

"Cotton used in the hotel have very high counts so they are soft and comfortable. The bedding is just the right hardness and makes sleeping a pleasure.
Airconditioning is adequate so the room temperature is always very cool in view of the hot climate during the month of August.
The only short coming is the lack of a Nespresso making machine for a hotel of this category. Further for the province of Fuzian, the hotel should offer guest a choice of some great teas from Fuzhou.
Otherwise our stay was pleasant and I highly recommend the value for staying at this Lakeside hotel.

"Excellent location, easy to access MRT station, bus, and Grab a ride to visit nearby restaurants, shopping places, supermarkets and scenery attractions.
We stayed in this hotel for 6D5N. The room was well designed and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The air-conditioner provided cool air all the time. Due to the hot climate, most of the afternoons, we stayed in the room enjoying watching a variety of TV programs.
Breakfast is good and wide spread including local traditional food and western food. Exceptional services received from the front desk staff, they were helpful, patient to answer your queries.
An exceptional thank to 佳佳, she was helpful and patient to provide informations and guidance how to use Internet App to accessing interesting places, restaurants, Supermarkets and public transport.
Furthermost, in the last night staying, my wife's legs suddenly wouldn't walk even wouldn't stand up (due to a long distance walk at 福道). 佳佳 also provided great help to relief our panic, i.e. providing my wife with a wheelchair, meal and etc on. 谢谢妳,佳佳.

JJ995LMy wife and I recently spent a few days at the Fuzhou Sanbaobindi Hotel for a much-needed getaway, and it was, without question, the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. Situated in the heart of Fuzhou’s historic Sanfang Qixiang district, the hotel was the perfect base for exploring the cultural treasures of old Fuzhou—all within easy walking distance, including access to the metro.
From the moment we stepped in, the experience was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed with traditional tea and snacks, and the check-in process was a breeze—under three minutes! Our room overlooked a beautifully manicured Chinese garden and perfectly balanced traditional design with modern comfort. Every detail in the room was spotless, showing a clear respect for the historical architecture.
The true highlight of our stay, however, was the level of care and hospitality provided by the staff, especially our guest services manager, Roy Huang. Roy went above and beyond, offering us night snacks and daily desserts and taking time to share insights into Fuzhou’s rich history and culture. Our conversations with him were a true pleasure—learning about the city’s architecture, the hotel’s own story, and even the local tea culture, which he introduced us to with great care and knowledge.
It’s rare to meet someone who makes you feel so genuinely welcome. Roy’s attention to detail and kindness transformed our stay into something extraordinary. We left Fuzhou with a much deeper appreciation for the city, and it was all thanks to the team at the Sanbaobindi Hotel.
If you’re looking for an authentic yet refined stay that captures the spirit of traditional Fuzhou, I couldn’t recommend the Sanbaobindi Hotel highly enough. A heartfelt thank you to Roy and the entire staff for making this trip truly unforgettable.

GGuest UserLocation of the hotel is excellent. The Doumen metro station is just a stone’s throw away. The reception staff gave a very warm welcome when we checked in. We enjoyed the breakfast selection very much. Food is tasty, not too salty or oily for foreigners. A must try is the 绿茶饼. Super yummy. The staff at the restaurant are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

I particularly loved the lobby lounge; its enormous floor-to-ceiling windows offer breathtaking river and city views. Whether it's watching boats glide by during the day or admiring the glittering city lights at night, it's an absolute delight.
The thoughtful design and meticulous details are evident throughout the guest rooms. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious. Soaking in the bathtub while enjoying the night view instantly melted away all travel fatigue. Hilton's renowned service standards truly shone through here. From the warm smiles of the bellmen proactively helping with luggage upon arrival, to the efficient, professional, and welcoming check-in process at the front desk, every single interaction made us feel respected and valued.
I must give a very, very special shout-out to one particular staff member – Kelly. Upon check-out, I realized I had left behind a strip of medication, which was very important. Kelly very efficiently helped me locate it in the room and sent me a photo. That's when I discovered I had forgotten other items too. She kindly gathered them all for me to pick up later. Her genuine desire to ensure guests have a perfect experience was truly heartwarming!
The hotel's breakfast alone was worth waking up early for! It offered a fantastic selection of authentic Fuzhou local snacks, such as Rou Yan (swallow dumplings) and fish balls. As an out-of-town visitor, I didn't have to venture far; the hotel provided a one-stop experience of the most authentic Fuzhou breakfast culture, and the taste was incredibly genuine!
I highly recommend trying their Executive Lounge benefits and Chinese restaurant; both are reportedly excellent. I didn't get a chance to experience them this time, so I'll save that for my next visit!

MM2cjbk8x9****My trip with my second child was really great this time, we felt looked after everywhere we went! This hotel is truly baby-friendly! My little one wasn't feeling well on the bullet train that day, so by the afternoon when we arrived at the hotel, I wasn't keen on going out. The front desk lady saw me alone with my child and a lot of luggage, and during check-in, she told me I could leave my bags at the front desk and they would have someone bring them to the room later. That really took a lot of weight off my shoulders! The staff member who delivered the luggage arrived at the room very quickly. My second child was asking to watch TV, and this gentleman even offered to help him find the cartoon he wanted, which was incredibly patient and kind! The housekeeping aunties I met in the room were also very accommodating, actively offering to bring extra hangers. It felt like all the staff I encountered were kind, always gave polite smiles, and even greeted my second child! You could tell he was both happy and a little shy. The staff are great, and the room is clean too.

GGuest UserStaying at Lanou in Fuzhou has truly been a fantastic experience. It's incredibly convenient, especially if you're just passing through on a layover. The front desk offers a generous supply of clean, disposable amenities, and Coco at the front desk provided incredibly thoughtful service. My room was very quiet and completely odor-free. The surrounding restaurants serve delicious food and are quite picturesque.
This was my second stay here. Last time, I accidentally left my charger behind, and they even called to remind me – the service, as always, was absolutely superb! The environment is also fantastic. I'll definitely choose this hotel every time I visit Changle, and I've already recommended it to many friends!

MM519756****This was my first stay at an Atour hotel, and it happened to be one near my home. Atour has gained significant recognition in the past two years. This particular Atour opened in July, and this area was originally an undeveloped property (it was renovated and converted into a hotel, with an All Seasons Hotel next door). I'd been wanting to experience it for a while, so I decided to book a stay during this holiday. Upon entering the lobby, although it wasn't incredibly stunning, it conveyed a sense of simplicity and comfort. The Atour Planet display area was right in the center. I'd heard their pillows were excellent, so I was looking forward to trying them out.
After checking in, the front desk service was incredibly warm and sincere. Since it was a bit warm outside, I spoke with the staff and was able to extend my check-out time until 3 PM – the latest check-out I've ever had! This kind of thoughtful, human-centered service truly deserves praise. I believe this is something rarely noticed in hotel management, and it's these details that make all the difference.
After check-in, I turned the corner towards the guest room elevators and was unexpectedly moved. This seemingly ordinary hallway possessed a profound sense of Zen. In such a vast space, they chose to embrace emptiness, embodying a minimalist aesthetic. It felt as if I had understood the meaning of life – we are here to experience it.
Shedding the fatigue of travel, the elevator brought me to the 9th floor, room 939. The view from the floor was decent, with plenty of natural light. The overall color scheme of the room was moderate, and the layout was standard. How do I describe it? You can't pinpoint anything specifically great, yet there's absolutely nothing to fault. I originally thought Atour leaned towards a romantic, bohemian vibe, but I was wrong; it's all about simplicity. Therefore, their focus must be on the details.
Yes, the details. For example, the laundry bag. While seemingly common, some five-star hotels don't even provide one. This probably speaks to their target demographic. By the bedside, there was a poetry collection with a green cover, and the lobby also featured a book bar. It all felt like nourishment for the soul. Sometimes, travel is about relaxation and escaping life, not about rushing from place to place or just moving to a new spot to scroll on your phone. And then there were the alcohol wipes next to the bathroom. Wow, that truly shows attention to detail! The mastermind behind this must be a perfectionist! Then there are their curated lifestyle products: tea, coffee, and toothpaste (minty fresh). Everything was just right. I subtly got the impression that their main demographic skews towards women; it seems they really understand women's needs, and everything is just perfect.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay. I'll definitely be back!

DDami129Overall, we had a very satisfying trip. I initially booked this hotel for three main reasons. Firstly, its location is absolutely unbeatable. It was incredibly convenient for my parents and me to explore Sanfang Qixiang, and all other attractions were within easy reach. Secondly, the service was excellent; the staff were all incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. Thirdly, as it's a new hotel, all the facilities felt brand new and were very comfortable. I definitely recommend it!

MM305359****This Taihe Plaza is only 3 kilometers from Fuzhou Station, so getting here was super quick. Check-in at the hotel was very smooth, the room was spotless, and the amenities were all there. It was great to have a speaker to play music and relax. The walk-in closet even had a yoga mat and small dumbbells, which was a fun surprise. If I didn't have to leave, I could honestly stay here all day!

MM848437****Traveling to this city with my significant other, choosing this hotel was absolutely the right decision! The location is superb, within walking distance to popular attractions, making it super convenient to return to the hotel after a long day of exploring.
The room was spotless, with a cozy yet stylish decor, and the floor-to-ceiling window offered a beautiful city view. Lying on the soft bed at night, chatting with my partner, it just filled us with happiness.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They proactively assisted with our luggage during check-in and even thoughtfully recommended some local hidden gem eateries. Those small details really warmed our hearts. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich and delicious too, leaving us perfectly satisfied and ready to start our day.
This stay completely exceeded our expectations and added so much to our couples' trip. We will definitely choose this place again on our next visit!
