Check in was 6pm and I wasn't informed anything that I had to know such as I had to ask for the sofa bed beddings at check in and they store all dishware inside dishwasher. As I mentioned before, the room didn't even have one piece of towel, no pots and pans, no kitchen cloth or sponges, no soap dish.... and I found all these at midnight when I returned to my room after a long day. The worst thing out of everything was MOLD! Bathtub was full of mold. I went to the front office the 2nd day morning and asked to bring all lacked items and cleaning the molded area. Even after showed pictures of the filthy tub, the guys in front kept saying they were just residue. No one cleaned the bathroom afrer my request. So I cleaned them myself since I didn't want to shower in moldy tub. And yes they were mold not residue! I took couple videos since they didn't buy my photos. But the 3rd day morning, the front office was empty for 5mns and I didn't feel like waiting any longer for bad service. I still have all photos and videos. I left detailed review at Marriott official website and their response was quick but not helpful. The hotel manager sent me a very ordinary email days later, saying she'll share this info with housekeeping team, so I sent her all pics and video I took from the room. Manager didn't even open those files for weeks after. As other reviewers said, this place never take guests' troubles seriously at all. Out of many Residence Inn I stayed for years, this one was my worst experience for sure.

I was overall just disappointed with this stay. I stayed at a Residence Inn in the Atlanta area in October 2021 and it was great. This Residence Inn was ok at best. To start with they charged $10 a night for parking! This was not a downtown hotel but one in a more secluded business/residential area. That was not clear AT ALL when I made the reservations and was a surprise when it was mentioned at check in. The room was fair to ok. The dishes in the kitchen were mismatched, there were no bowls or larger drinking glasses nor a cookie sheet to use in the oven. There was only a partial roll of toilet paper and no extra roll, which we figured out at 9:30 one night when we realized we had to go to lobby to get more. The breakfast was not good, nothing fresh, no fruit, everything had to be microwaved or was prepackaged cereal. Asked for a waffle- had been on the bar the 2 days previous and was told only for the weekend. We did not have any housekeeping so each day we had to call and get fresh towels and washcloths. The trash from our room was not picked up during our stay and again no extra bags left so we could change out the trash ourselves. The staff we encountered were nice and most were friendly. This hotel did not provide the service or transparency I had come to expect from Marriott. Just disappointed and would NOT recommend this hotel to someone. I would recommend finding another hotel in the area to stay in, not this one. I did contact Marriott about my experience and got an email reply that said in part ”I sincerely apologize for failing to meet your expectations. I have shared your feedback with the leadership team to ensure the necessary guidelines are in place and reviewed to prevent this from occurring in the future”.

Unfortunately, Due to a delayed flight we decided to stay one night in ATL instead of driving home today. I booked using priceline. I normally book directly but priceline’s price was way more cheaper. Like before, I was traveling with my children, and I understand not having two beds since I only booked a room with a King bed and a sofa bed, but unfortunately the sofa bed didn't come with a pillow. So I called the front desk to request for pillow and I was told that there’s no pillows available anywhere. Apparently there is no housekeeping available at 8:00PM and they have no way to access the housekeeping inventory. I have never heard of this! I was so tired of dealing with it so I guess we just had to sleep with no pillow. I loved this hotel, and stayed here several times, but I think if this is what I get booking with priceline, I don’t think this is Marriott standard with this type of service. I don’t know If this worth driving and staying at this hotel when there are others closer. Along with this issue, we found a crayon in the sofa, and a tissue in the trash can. In this time of covid craziness, I sure hope my room was cleaned! I honestly don’t know what to think at this point. This was terrible service. They couldn’t even get a pillow from an unused room?? Ridiculous. To top it off, I emailed the hotel manager about my stay and she didn’t even respond! If a manager doesn’t even care about their customers, I can’t even imagine how the staff cares for their hotel. I would not stay here…and I won’t in the future. Poor staff and management.

We rented a suite at this hotel for 3 nights. We needed a suite for extra sleeping space for grandchildren. The price was good. The room was just ok. the bathroom door was super wide and at times, got in the way. The bathroom was small and the toilet was very low. At first, the beds felt comfortable, but really weren't conducive to a good night's sleep for any of us. The mattresses were too firm, I think. The room AC worked fine but never got cool enough at night. Glad we took our own fans. Mike, at the front desk at check in, was very nice and accommodating. After that, we rarely saw any hotel personnel. There was no maid service at all after our check in, and I assume that this was because of Covid. However, I want to mention that the room was very clean when we checked in. Still, after 3 days and nights, trash service is more than a necessity. Thankfully, we had taken a large kitchen trash bag. No replacement towels or t.p. The hotel was located in a good, easy access area. It was quiet at night. Both plusses. Breakfast was a negative. I was told that there would at least be cereal, milk and some fresh fruit options. There was none of that. They had granola bars, cheap, out of the box cinnamon rolls, apple juice, orange juice and coffee. Older TV set in room. Not very large and not all that many channels and no guide. With a suite, I am used to having 2 TVs, but not here, and our Roku would not fit in what should be standard HDMI ports.

My spouse and I booked a room at here due to an emergency after moving back from Virginia. Ms. Della was very gentle and understanding, and made us feel very welcomed in which I truly appreciate. The day we checked it, she booked us and it felt as if she was my very own family member who actually cared. She gave us hope to have someplace to bounce back from and just speaking with her gave me a sense of relief and not so much fear and frustration. I really appreciate Ms. Della and plan to be a guest here until I get back on my feet.

The only reason my rating isn't a 1 is at least there were no bugs. Public areas seem to have been refreshed in this decade based on decor style and the same for a few things in the sleeping rooms. However, bedroom furniture, bathroom vanity, and tub appear to be right out of the 1980's. On top of that, the beds (at least in my room) were unbelievably uncomfortable...hard as a rock with zero support. They feel like their 8 year life expired 10 years ago. Front desk personnel was anything but welcoming/friendly...like my questions were a bother to answer. Additionally, I came back to the room the first evening to find the room hadn't been cleaned. In asking at the front desk, I was told icleaning had to be requested. One would think that is something a guest would be told at check in or have something clearly posted in the room. Nope, that wasn't my experience. With all of the hotels located in this area, needless to say, I'll spend my money elsewhere next trip to town.
