While returning from Kaziranga, we stayed here overnight since we had to catch the morning flight on return. Considering our very good experience in Kzziranga, in the hotel of the same owner, expectations had increased. The location was nice, but I did not realise that Guwahati would be so so crowded :-). Unfortunately, the wear and tear and the lack of basic maintenance was showing. One could not sit on the chair since the seats needed to be refurbished, changed. What I saw the moment I entered the room can be seen in the picture. Other walls (e.g. under the window) had the same problem. Was very very disappointed. My request and suggestion to the management......it does not take more than one day to get one room fixed up --- paint and chair cushion etc. For the price of the room, we did not expect this, really.

Other than the location, which can be a little far from prime locations this hotel is perfect. The hotel staff are exceptionally cooperative and helpful. Food is excellent. Rooms are clean and they provide body lotion, soap, tooth brush & paste and clean towels. Overall i really enjoyed my stay there.

There are a few positives about Kalyaniz though the place would not rank high overall. While located in a key city area, the main location and approach is through a narrow road which could get congested. Transport within the city is not an issue with cab aggregators being available. The room size was good and it was clean. The lighting in the room was annoyingly dim giving it a very dark/ dingy feel- certainly a negative. What was most puzzling was how the hot water in the bathroom just did not come even after a long time. There is a weird method to supposedly get the hot water which only results in a waste of time, and a waste of lot of water, something which the hotel needs to rectify pronto. The food in the restaurant including the buffet breakfast was very average and could do with improvement. The housekeeping staff was prompt in attending to our regular requirements, except for solving the hot water puzzle.

One time stay. Service is poor. Number of times questioned to get required services. Complementary breakfast has no spread. No proper dining hall set up. Rooms are good as the hotel is new. But not well maintained. Curtains are dirty. Cleanings are not done regularly. Will not get required tea coffee pouches at the right time. No proper greetings at the reception

First of all, this Hotel situated on the 6th floor of a building. So, only Lift is the only way to proceed fist, if lift will not work, that will be embarrassing problem. 2nd, there was no Restaurant/Kitchen, they provided food from outside. Room quality was not so good, I needed to wait 1 hr for my booked room, though I booked early and also confirm my booking and arrival time through email, whats app and phone call. I reached the hotel after 2 hrs (around 7.30pm.) from my arrival schedule. But they didn't ready the room till then. After all of my effort, I needed to wait in a narrow lobby approx. 1 hr. This was not good for a family traveler. Bed-sheets and towels are not clean, bathroom was very short and water gets stuck in the drain. Not a pleasant stay!! Not recommend to any family traveler.

The resort’s staff was extremely courteous, friendly and helpful in every way possible. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable during our stay. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious and clean. The amenities provided were of high quality and we were happy with the overall experience. One thing that really stood out to me was the location of the resort. It was nestled amidst the hills and surrounded by lush greenery. The serene environment provided us with the perfect escape from our busy lives. We were able to relax and unwind completely. The activities and adventure sports offered by the resort were thrilling and exhilarating. The staff made sure that we were safe at all times and provided us with all the necessary equipment. We had a great time trying out new things and stepping out of our comfort zones. The food at the resort was simply outstanding. The variety and quality of the dishes were exceptional. We were delighted with the taste and presentation of each dish. The chef’s attention to detail and creativity was truly commendable. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and adventurous vacation. Perfect
Best homestay in our whole Assam and Meghalaya trip. It is very near to the airport and so cabs are easily available. The caretakers are helpful and the owner is very friendly and informative. Rooms are neat and clean -towel, blankets, linen are good, washed and clean, bathrooms are well maintained and clean. Garden is beautiful with good sitting arrangement. Their terrace Garden is a must visit in the evening to enjoy the sunset. Not lesser than a 4 star hotel with a homely touch to it.

GGuest UserSituated in a broken pathway ***** Paltan Bazar; access is tricky. The outer appearance of the hotel does not inspire confidence. The reception / lobby area is tiny and dingy. But all this is made up by the room I opted for: Deluxe category. The room was huge by any standards, spic and span, equipped with L-shaped sofa, study table and the usual bed, TV, fridge etc. It also had a balcony which is rare these days. The staff looked deprived, but were friendly and cooperative. The food is reasonably priced and tasty. The breakfast is limited and homely. Tariff, very reasonable. Recommended for middle budget travelers.

GGuest UserAmazing place for stay n conference. Food, service, location, proximity to Railway station, Bus Station, city Mkts etc makes it a best choice for conference. Room has all basic amenities. Breakfast menu was good. Nice restaurant serving great choice of snacks, deinks and food. Their Biryani was one of the best I have ever had. More surprisingly, it was tasting better in this Far East City then some of the known cities serving it. Great experience of staying with them.

The ambience of the hotel is quite amazing. The staff is welcoming and fully cooperative. I had buffet for the company event i was attending there. The food was super delicious. The chicken was so tender and juicy and the naan bread was the softest. Apart from the food the Tai Hall(where the event took place) is huge and has great ambience as well. The whole hotel is air conditioned. I'm just not satisfied with the quality of the washrooms, they can be a lot better given the stature of 4star hotel. Overall, it's a great hotel.

GGuest UserIts my second time staying, i convinced my girlfriend to stay at the place too since it's safe and secure for female travellers. The staffs are welcoming, the place is clean and the food is good. All in all its was a peaceful stay.
