Excellent Hotel wt 5* service. Our breakfast & dinner were too good. Sumptuous buffet laid out. for breakfast & dinner. The room are well maintained & clean wt all 5* facilities. Staff were so polite & always ready to serve. Their Mgr Botopon Dutta very polite & always helpful. Reception Priya & Concierge Putu very helpful. We were a group of 9 people & all were very happy wt the service. Will definitely use Greenwood Resorts & SPA again. Many Thanks. N. Irani

This hotel is one of the nice properties in Guwahati. The service here is very good and the rooms are nice. Overall a great experience. It's on the main road of Paltan Bazar so it can be a bit of a hassle during heavy traffic hours, otherwise it's a nice stay.

Room and washroom was good. But the service is not as good. Tv is not working and we almost called 5-6 times and at the last moment they made the tv at working condition. Free breakfast is also not good.

Situated in a broken pathway ***** Paltan Bazar; access is tricky. The outer appearance of the hotel does not inspire confidence. The reception / lobby area is tiny and dingy. But all this is made up by the room I opted for: Deluxe category. The room was huge by any standards, spic and span, equipped with L-shaped sofa, study table and the usual bed, TV, fridge etc. It also had a balcony which is rare these days. The staff looked deprived, but were friendly and cooperative. The food is reasonably priced and tasty. The breakfast is limited and homely. Tariff, very reasonable. Recommended for middle budget travelers.

While returning from Kaziranga, we stayed here overnight since we had to catch the morning flight on return. Considering our very good experience in Kzziranga, in the hotel of the same owner, expectations had increased. The location was nice, but I did not realise that Guwahati would be so so crowded :-). Unfortunately, the wear and tear and the lack of basic maintenance was showing. One could not sit on the chair since the seats needed to be refurbished, changed. What I saw the moment I entered the room can be seen in the picture. Other walls (e.g. under the window) had the same problem. Was very very disappointed. My request and suggestion to the management......it does not take more than one day to get one room fixed up --- paint and chair cushion etc. For the price of the room, we did not expect this, really.

GGuest UserFirst of all, this Hotel situated on the 6th floor of a building. So, only Lift is the only way to proceed fist, if lift will not work, that will be embarrassing problem. 2nd, there was no Restaurant/Kitchen, they provided food from outside. Room quality was not so good, I needed to wait 1 hr for my booked room, though I booked early and also confirm my booking and arrival time through email, whats app and phone call. I reached the hotel after 2 hrs (around 7.30pm.) from my arrival schedule. But they didn't ready the room till then. After all of my effort, I needed to wait in a narrow lobby approx. 1 hr. This was not good for a family traveler. Bed-sheets and towels are not clean, bathroom was very short and water gets stuck in the drain. Not a pleasant stay!! Not recommend to any family traveler.

GGuest UserAmazing place for stay n conference. Food, service, location, proximity to Railway station, Bus Station, city Mkts etc makes it a best choice for conference. Room has all basic amenities. Breakfast menu was good. Nice restaurant serving great choice of snacks, deinks and food. Their Biryani was one of the best I have ever had. More surprisingly, it was tasting better in this Far East City then some of the known cities serving it. Great experience of staying with them.

GGuest UserWe booked it at emergency. Didn't like the room according to price. Took more than ₹ but the room was small. Bathroom also small, geyser not working. Have to ask for extra towel. Tv don't have the necessary Channels. Only regional channels and some free channels. Took extra charge for asking Hot water to drink as they don't have electric kettle in room. Moreover the prices of food is so high. And no Thali system. Nearly ₹800 charged for Rice bowl of 1and half, Chicken curry, oily papad, oily mix vegetable ( huge quantity for two, no half plate system), Dal. Took extra ₹20 for water bottle which should have been provided at deluxe room. I don't recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserAlright, so I stayed at this hotel recently, and it was honestly pretty great. First off, the location was handy – not too far from everything. The rooms got a makeover, and they looked good. Like, they were modern but still cozy. I appreciated that. What stood out to me, though, was how clean everything was. And they had everything you could need – amenities-wise. It was like they thought of everything. I didn't have to go hunting for stuff; it was all just there.

SSheda11I wanted to visit Kamakhya temple since long but after covid there was no proper information that weather temple is open or not than how is Kamakhya junction but I took risk and thought of let's go there and explore it. nearest station is Kamakhya junction and once you reach there is waiting room if you do not have hotel room or you have less budget you can fresh up and can start your journey early morning.door opens at 7am after covid,there for reaching to temple you can reserve taxi ,auto from there or just take a walk for 10 minutes towards highway and get to or bus.once you reach there than you have 3options to reach on top to temple either you can reserve cab or take a shared cab and at last by walk.i would suggest if you have senior citizen than take cab. Yes most important on station and in temple you need to have test report or 2nd dose of vactination or else they will let you suffer.

In the island we need to climb few steps as the temple is in a small hillock within the island.There is a small Vishnu idol before we enter the shrine of Shiva...we have to climb very few steps to have darshan of Shiva.Also there is a separate shrine for Hanuman.
