Hotels in Dashizi Area, Guiyang

We recently stayed at Kepinski Hotel Guiyang for two nights.We enjoyed our family themed room layout, nice and clean, with children themed design and a play tent, slide, etc. They provided a nice breakfast, which is a diverse buffet, Chinese and western mix. Staff are super warm and friendly. The greatest provision from the hotel is service; they always ask you if you need anything and then they provide what you require. There is a restaurant I have to highly recommend because the food is tasty, presented like art, and staffs serve you like a VIP. Unfortunately the swimming pool is not available due to renovation at the time we stayed.

The hotel room is clean and nice just like the other Novotel hotels around the world. The buffet breakfast spread at The Square is reasonably good. The housekeeping staff did perform well in maintaining the room clean. There are many restaurants nearby the hotel, particularly the ‘underground’ (technically below the road junction) restaurants. The West Zhongshan Metro line 1 (Exit E) is about 7 minutes walk and then use Entrance D and Exit C of the underpass stairs/elevator to proceed to the Hotel passing Uniqlo and the restaurant with the hanging Panda. Will stay again at this hotel if visit Guiyang in future.

We were really satisfied with the room design – it was both Instagrammable and comfortable, and the view was absolutely lovely! The location of the hotel is quite good too – just around a 12-minute walk to the metro or bus, which made getting around the city very convenient. Special thanks to the captain during breakfast; his service was truly top-notch. He consistently checked on guests with a warm smile, which made our mornings even better. Also, a big shoutout to Rabby for kindly assisting us when we asked about taking the bus around the city – really helpful! There was just one issue we encountered during our stay. On the first day, we noticed that the hair conditioner couldn’t be pumped out and the hair dryer wasn’t functioning well. After we reported it, the team responded quickly by providing bottled conditioner and a replacement hair dryer – which we appreciated. However, a few days later, housekeeping took away the replacement conditioner bottles, and we were left without any again. When we brought it up a second time, the team finally discovered that the original conditioner pump was broken and fixed it immediately. While we’re happy with how quickly the staff responded, we do feel that for a 5-star hotel, it’s important to ensure that room amenities are checked thoroughly before guests check in. Overall, we still had a great experience and appreciate the excellent service from the team!

Had 4 wonderful nights stay here in March 2025. Location is walking distance to the food streets and metro. The staff was nice and friendly. Housekeeping was done daily, and bottle waters were replenished. Breakfast was ok, too. If you were to take the metro, don't use the H exit. Just walk further towards Municipal Pedestrian Walkway, turn left and walk further, then take the escalator on the right up, and look out for Luckin at the corner. That's the entrance to the hotel's lift.

Every time I come here, I am really satisfied. The unique feature of this hotel is that it allows pets to stay. It is very good. It is really the first choice for cute pet families to travel. It is also very convenient for self-driving parties. The parking space is large and there are charging piles. Charging at night is very cheap. Xiaoye saw that we were on a business trip and told us that there is a free printer in the lobby that can be used 24 hours a day. The coffee in the lobby is also delicious. It is very good. It is very considerate. It is very close to the station and airport. There are only a few stops. It takes more than 10 minutes by taxi. It is at Shougang Station. The breakfast is very good and unique. The hygiene is also very good. I will definitely come again next time. Recommended

Facilities: As a long-established four-star hotel, the hotel's facilities are exceptionally well-maintained, demonstrating the management's dedication. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the bedding is soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathrooms are particularly noteworthy, with excellent dry and wet area separation, strong water pressure and consistent temperature, and the provided toiletries are also high-quality. Cleanliness: A perfect score for cleanliness! The entire hotel, from public areas to guest rooms, is kept spotlessly clean. The rooms are meticulously cleaned, with crisp white sheets and duvet covers. The bathrooms are sparkling clean, with no unsanitary corners or odors. Environment: The hotel's location is ideal, close to various night markets and the White House, making it extremely convenient for both business and leisure travelers. Service: From the moment we entered the hotel, every staff member demonstrated exceptional professionalism and genuine hospitality. The front desk was efficient, friendly, and prompt, and the check-in process was quick. The hotel also has its own parking lot. Seeing that we were a family of three, they proactively provided baby supplies. A perfect score for this.

It’s simply awesome! As soon as you enter the store, the staff are warm and thoughtful, instantly dispelling your travel fatigue. The room is clean and warm, with complete and new facilities and comfortable bedding. There are also exquisite small gifts and delicious midnight snacks. The location is excellent and travel is convenient. I will choose this place again next time I travel. I must recommend it to everyone!

This stay at Zhonghao was an unexpected experience. The front desk staff was warm and thoughtful, and the check-in was quick and efficient. They also introduced the surrounding delicious food and a small tourist picture book, which warmed my heart when I just arrived in Guiyang. The room was impeccable! It was spacious and bright, with a reasonable layout, a comfortable bed, a clean and tidy bathroom, and very good disposable items. Every detail was handled very well. The hotel's catering also left a deep impression on me. The breakfast was rich and varied, and there were local specialty noodles. The hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of both hardware facilities and software services, especially the service. I felt the meticulous care and ultimate comfort experience. Highly recommended to everyone!!!

Location is 5 star, no question asked. Close walkable location, to almost everything in old town. Room feel a bit outdated, here is a few thing. Few of the tile is cracked at sitting area, with a pointing edge which is dangers for children if running. There is bathroom black mold at some part of the floor cocking in shower. The worst part is the toilet, that flushes when your still on it, and also the spill water out when flushing. Other than that, friendly staff. Oh last thing, very slow elevator, and when u go down, u might stop by every floor due to share building with everything else.

Strategically located in the city centre and easily reached on foot from the Penshuichi metro station (Exit H) which is less than 500 metres from the hotel. Plentiful of food stalls are located all around the hotel, more specifically along the Taiping Road behind the hotel. Shopping is pleasant as numerous large shopping centres and plazas surrounds the hotel. Basic hotel amenities such as bath gel, shampoo, toothbrush, towels, coffee and tea, and drinking water are provided as well. I will definitely stay in this hotel again if I were to visit the city again.
