Hotels in Dashizi Area, Guiyang

This hotel is perfect, the service is amazing thanks to Amber Feng and Lucy at the front desk. They were friendly and eager to help. The hotel is clean and super convenient being at the city center. Will always stay here when I am in Guiyang!

I really liked this hotel! First of all, I was so grateful that, even though I arrived a little before noon, the hotel managers allowed me to check in early with no extra charge. And I found them helpful and efficient and friendly (always greeting me when I returned each day). The room itself was a pleasant change from what I'm used to. First of all, my room had no window. But I didn't even get bothered by that because the room itself has such a warm feeling. The floor is a dark wood that makes the whole room feel a sense of integrity. The decorations in the room also give a sense of old world elegance. For example, they put a 1940s style phone in the room (which is very clearly modern since it uses digital buttons instead of the rotary system) just to keep up with the entire theme of the hotel as a place stuck beautifully in time. The shower in the room was excellent; it even had a bench built into the wall that I suppose you could sit on. The shower had good pressure and a full supply of hot water. The room was a bit hot for me, but I suppose I could have called the front desk and they would have helped me adjust the settings; it wasn't too hot that I was uncomfortable. Actually, at that time of the year when Guizhou is so cold and damp, other hotels I had stayed at previously in Guizhou had the problem of being irreparably cold, so perhaps I should be grateful for this point. I like the fact that the hotel has breakfast. I intended to try the breakfast but I got food poisoning from some street food the night before and didn't feel like eating anything the entire next day, so unfortunately I didn't get to try it... but it really looked good! They also seem to have a late evening dinner option, but I didn't try that either (I should have!). The location is also excellent. I took a cab from this hotel to the history museum, Qianling Mountain Park, and the airport, and all were quick and cheap rides. Obviously a visit to Qingyan Ancient Town is going to be an expensive ride wherever you are coming from unless you're staying in Qingyan itself. Anyways, this hotel is also within walking distance to a lot of great restaurants. Just go out the door and turn left and within a few blocks you'll be in a food area with professional restaurants and street food. I, regrettably, was determined to visit Guiyang's famous ErQi Food street, so I kept walking. From the hotel to ErQi food street, it took me about 45 minutes to walk. Not bad! As it turns out, something I ate there didn't agree with my digestive system, so I should have just eaten at the many great restaurants near the hotel. But the point I'm making is that the ErQi Food street ”on the other side of town” was only about 40 minutes by walking. I could also walk to Yan'an Lu and other such streets or to Jiaxiu Tower (I walked right by it... only about 20 minutes from the hotel by walking). That shows what a fantastic location this hotel offers!

We were given an upgrade and complimentary breakfast. All the staff including the manager were courteous and extremely helpful, going out of their way to give us directions and transportation information to places we wanted to visit. The metro station is about 200metres away and there’s a basement food court about 50metres away. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had a wonderful time here. Although most of the staff don’t speak English, they tried their best to make my stay as comfortable as possible and had at least one English speaker onsite. The hotel room itself is fantastic, clean and spacious. The showers water pressure was AMAZING. Location is perfect, right in the city center. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Guiyang.

Very close to the Penshuishi metro line,just a few minutes walk ,round the corner and thus convenient.Breakfast was a good spread with noodles,porridge and some western like sausages, eggs and waffles.Fruits also a good spread.The late supper porridge was quite delightful and a plus. Opposite the hotel is an authentic restaurant selling local guiyang dishes.Staff were young ,friendly and you need a translator app if you don't speak mandarin.

The room is spacious and bright, with a view of the bustling Guiyang. The store is very considerate and provides three types of charging equipment with excellent service attitude. Due to objective factors, I deposited my belongings and contacted the hotel to mail them on the same day as required. It was a full and exciting trip.

This hotel is simply MUST STAY in Guiyang. Staff over there are all super friendly and helpful. Especially duty manager Luke Lu welcomed us with fruits, cake and lovely hand written card. Thank you so much. Room has spectacular view and you can look over all Guiyang from bird eye view. I stayed on 51st floor suite room which allows full access to executive lounge on 53rd floor from 2 to 10pm. Its location is in the heart of city, so Jiaxiulu甲秀楼，shoppings and restaurants ste in walking distance. Even airport is just 15 minutes drive. My wife and I really loved to stay here in Kempinski Guiyang and its name is now reliable one to make booking next times of trouble without any hesitation. 한국어가 능숙한 매니져 Jeff Wang도 있습니다. 가급적이면 스위트룸에서 최고의 뷰와 라운지와 서비스를 느껴보시길 추천드립니다.

The location of the hotel is good. It is just a few minutes walk from the tube. Also it is kind of right at the city centre I believe. The staff are friend. The room is clean but it isn't a big room. The breakfast is fine in terms of food quality and variety. Overall it was a good experience.

The twin bed that I started to book was too small, I couldn’t open the suitcase. I contacted the beautiful ladies at the front desk and changed it for us. She said that the road would be a bit noisy. We still chose a larger room facing the road. It was actually not noisy to close the window at night. It was noisy, but the vehicle was noisy by honking the horn in the morning. The service is very good. We want to lie down more because of the train time. The lady who left the room late also understands that we agreed. Overall, the health is also very good. The trip to Guiyang is over ～.

The hotel is located in the city center and it is very convenient to travel! The hotel is newly renovated and feels very new, especially the health is very good, very clean! The quilt is not damp at all, very dry, and sleeps very comfortably! There is also the beauty at the front desk, the handsome guys smile sweetly, very warm and thoughtful!
