Hotels in Dashizi Area, Guiyang

The hotel room is clean and nice just like the other Novotel hotels around the world. The buffet breakfast spread at The Square is reasonably good. The housekeeping staff did perform well in maintaining the room clean. There are many restaurants nearby the hotel, particularly the ‘underground’ (technically below the road junction) restaurants. The West Zhongshan Metro line 1 (Exit E) is about 7 minutes walk and then use Entrance D and Exit C of the underpass stairs/elevator to proceed to the Hotel passing Uniqlo and the restaurant with the hanging Panda. Will stay again at this hotel if visit Guiyang in future.

We recently stayed at Kepinski Hotel Guiyang for two nights.We enjoyed our family themed room layout, nice and clean, with children themed design and a play tent, slide, etc. They provided a nice breakfast, which is a diverse buffet, Chinese and western mix. Staff are super warm and friendly. The greatest provision from the hotel is service; they always ask you if you need anything and then they provide what you require. There is a restaurant I have to highly recommend because the food is tasty, presented like art, and staffs serve you like a VIP. Unfortunately the swimming pool is not available due to renovation at the time we stayed.

This hotel stay was more comfortable than expected. The location couldn't be more convenient. Just a few minutes' walk from the subway entrance, and taxis are close to popular attractions. Whether you want to experience Guiyang's history and culture, go shopping, eat, or explore the surrounding attractions, it's incredibly convenient. The surrounding area is also very lively, making it easy to find authentic snacks in the evening. The front desk staff was always smiling, and the check-in process was efficient and professional. They also offered suggestions for nearby attractions. The room was decorated in a unique and chic style, and the housekeepers were always willing to greet us. Highly recommended, I'll definitely stay at this hotel again next time I'm in Guiyang!

This stay at Zhonghao was an unexpected experience. The front desk staff was warm and thoughtful, and the check-in was quick and efficient. They also introduced the surrounding delicious food and a small tourist picture book, which warmed my heart when I just arrived in Guiyang. The room was impeccable! It was spacious and bright, with a reasonable layout, a comfortable bed, a clean and tidy bathroom, and very good disposable items. Every detail was handled very well. The hotel's catering also left a deep impression on me. The breakfast was rich and varied, and there were local specialty noodles. The hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of both hardware facilities and software services, especially the service. I felt the meticulous care and ultimate comfort experience. Highly recommended to everyone!!!

The hotel photo was not taken. The hotel bathroom and shower are separated. On both sides of the bed, there is a step in the door. It is not very convenient. #Location traffic around a lot of food, from the subway distance is OK, we all take a taxi, so we did not experience the subway travel, in order to eat can live, If the sleeping environment is high, it is not recommended to choose #service service is very good, there are welcome fruits and 24-hour service, but generally not used #room facilities hotel in a commercial building, in one of the high floors, waiting for the elevator will be a bit long, close to the street, it will be noisy at night, The car's sound is more obvious

The hotel is located right in the heart of town, conveniently located a 6-min walk to the West Zhongshan Road Subway station. The room was spacious and very clean. The linens were pristene and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was great and I really appreciated the Japanese toilet. The people at the desk spoke Chinese only, but I was expecting that based on the reviews I had read ahead of time, and with my basic language skills and a bit of help from our phones (translator) we managed fine. The reception people were very pleasant and helpful. The late-night snack (congee with several types of pickle) is a nice thing, except that there was none left the first night when I went. Best to go before 10:30 if you hope to enjoy it. The food, Chinese style, is copious and delicious. The regional specialities were a nice touch! The breakfast has some Western-style food as well, though less elaborate. There was a problem with the coffee machine the 2nd day, but it was fixed quickly. I would stay here again - the location and value for money was excellent. But if you need service in English, want English TV, and /or a full Western breakfast, this is probably not the hotel for you.

Good hotel for the price and the room itself was nice. Would recommend. Nearest subway was a bit away so I often ended up walking or taking taxis more than relying on the subway but it’s not that long to walk into busy parts of the city

It’s simply awesome! As soon as you enter the store, the staff are warm and thoughtful, instantly dispelling your travel fatigue. The room is clean and warm, with complete and new facilities and comfortable bedding. There are also exquisite small gifts and delicious midnight snacks. The location is excellent and travel is convenient. I will choose this place again next time I travel. I must recommend it to everyone!

We were really satisfied with the room design – it was both Instagrammable and comfortable, and the view was absolutely lovely! The location of the hotel is quite good too – just around a 12-minute walk to the metro or bus, which made getting around the city very convenient. Special thanks to the captain during breakfast; his service was truly top-notch. He consistently checked on guests with a warm smile, which made our mornings even better. Also, a big shoutout to Rabby for kindly assisting us when we asked about taking the bus around the city – really helpful! There was just one issue we encountered during our stay. On the first day, we noticed that the hair conditioner couldn’t be pumped out and the hair dryer wasn’t functioning well. After we reported it, the team responded quickly by providing bottled conditioner and a replacement hair dryer – which we appreciated. However, a few days later, housekeeping took away the replacement conditioner bottles, and we were left without any again. When we brought it up a second time, the team finally discovered that the original conditioner pump was broken and fixed it immediately. While we’re happy with how quickly the staff responded, we do feel that for a 5-star hotel, it’s important to ensure that room amenities are checked thoroughly before guests check in. Overall, we still had a great experience and appreciate the excellent service from the team!

We met an exceptional lady, 郎月白at the reception who went the extra mile to help us buy tickets for the performance. She helped us to buy the tickets and even offered to bring us to the venue on her off day. We spent a lovely afternoon with her and got to know more about Guizhou and her during our interaction. She even gave us a lift to the airport. I’m glad we experienced Guiyang people’s hospitality and made a friend there. Thank you 月白 for everything and we hope to see u in Singapore soon!
