Holiday Inn Guiyang City Center

I chose Nanyue Holiday Inn for this trip to Guizhou. After all, it is an international brand chain hotel with a very good environment, complete hardware facilities, warm reception from the staff, good breakfast, convenient parking for self-driving, and free parking. I hope it will be better.

The room is spacious, clean, quiet, high floor, and has a good view. The waiter is warm and attentive. He saw that I drank 2 bottles of water on the first day, and put 4 bottles of water on the counter on the second day.

There are many negative reviews in the comments, but I feel that it is generally good and in line with the usual standards of Holiday Inn. The elevator is very beautiful, the breakfast will have an extra surprise, and it is rich overall. The reception staff, security guards, and front desk are all very polite. It is best to choose an integrated parking lot in Guiyang, otherwise you may have to go around to the hotel. This parking lot is downstairs, you can navigate directly and take the hotel elevator up (don't take the office building elevator). It is very close to Qingyun Market, a ten-minute walk. There is also a small supermarket downstairs, which has some simple children's entertainment facilities and a small fountain at the door. The only thing I am not satisfied with is that I brought the elderly and children, but they were arranged on the 22nd floor (smoking floor). The room smelled heavily of smoke, and I was too lazy to pack my luggage and didn't change it. It is recommended to ask customers whether they need a non-smoking room in the future.

It's a 10-minute walk from Qingyun Market. The hotel staff are very polite and the service is very good. The rooms are clean and sanitary. The takeaway food is delivered by a cute robot. There is a famous "Jiefang Road Hongqiao Roast Chicken" more than 100 meters away. I went too late and didn't eat it. There is a Pingba Doumi Hot Pot under the nearby overpass, which is also delicious.

The service provided by Ella at the front desk was quite unprofessional and cold. She was not at all like an I H G hotel employee should be!  The room is a standard business room with quite a large space, but the sofa is very small and the hair dryer can only be used for 20 seconds. It is really shocking! But what was a little touching was that the hotel immediately bought a new hair dryer the next day, so that I could use it with peace of mind when I checked in the next day. I have to give it a pat on the back.

The hotel is very convenient to everywhere. You can walk to Jiaxiu Tower, Qingyun Market, Grand Theater, etc. Breakfast is also available.
