The Hyatt Regency sets the standard for hospitality in Guiyang—perhaps in all of China. Definitely one of my best hotel stays ever in a decade of traveling China. Brand new facilities, top notch staff, and right next door to a stunning park. If you like running, I highly recommend the running park in the urban park behind the hotel—absolutely stunning urban running (see the photos below) 🏃🏽‍♂️Can’t go wrong staying here if you are in Guiyang 💯

Many, many thanks to Carl and Harris… Two outstanding managers; they made everything just seem effortless. The cleaning staff was very attentive and prompt and kind. I was so impressed. This is probably one of the best hotel customer service experiences I’ve ever had in China.

The best five-star hotel in Guiyang has been open for more than ten years, and its appearance is amazing. Standing by Guanshan lake, the service is first-class, and I feel the enthusiasm of Guiyang people. On my friend's birthday, the hotel specially prepared surprise room layout, afternoon tea, Chinese restaurant, western restaurant, comfortable environment and complete dishes. Because of a lot of luggage, my colleagues in the concierge department helped me carry my luggage several times. When I left, my sister at the front desk borrowed a power supply for me because my mobile phone was broken. When I first wrote a comment, I was moved and warm by my colleagues and friends at Hyatt Guiyang. Thank Christine, Fanny and all my colleagues for their hard work. I suggest you, especially after 00 o'clock, stay in Hyatt Regent Hotel and cancel all family accommodation and online red hotel. The staff was very friendly and helped us at any time. The hotel is located in the newer part of the city, you often need to travel by taxi or metro to go to the most attractions.

I loved it

To be honest, the appearance and style are great. It is rare for a star-rated hotel to occupy such a large area. However, the facilities on the first floor, such as the lobby, garden, and tea bar, are really good. I felt that 1,200 yuan a night was good when I walked in. What a pity. I was immediately disappointed when I went to the room. It said 42 square meters, but it was probably only about 28 square meters. The room was more like Atour, and the facilities were not advanced enough. It can be said that the two beds were basically close together and only 1.2 meters. The room facilities were too poor. There was no feeling of a 5-star luxury hotel at all. I was really disappointed. It was not as good as Atour, which costs 400 yuan. The price is the same as that of the InterContinental Hotel, but it does not have the complete facilities and comfortable equipment of the InterContinental Hotel. The breakfast was even more disappointing. It was something to coax the children, Chinese food, nothing special, and Western food seemed to be nothing special either. There were more cold dishes than hot dishes, and the soup noodles tasted terrible. I guess the sausage only cost 10 cents a piece in the wholesale market. It was too unpalatable.

The front desk manager, Xiao Hou, was very enthusiastic and helped with the luggage and greeted and sent off guests. The hotel is next to Guanshan Lake Park. If you have the opportunity, you can go to Guanshan Lake Park for a walk and run. It's great! The pillows in the hotel are very comfortable to sleep. The waiters on the floor are very thoughtful and attentive.

I will stay in this hotel again when I come to Guiyang next time. It is very comfortable and I enjoy the environment in the hotel.

The hotel is great and the service is very friendly! Becky at the front desk is very nice and friendly. The room is also very comfortable, but I am afraid of heat, and I can't find how to turn off the central air conditioner. It would be even better if the hotel could arrange a robot to deliver food.

The hotel lobby is very grand and has a good environment. Behind the hotel is Guanshan Lake Park with a very nice view. The transportation is convenient and there are many snacks nearby.
