Metropolo Jinjiang Hotels in Guiyang North Railway Station

We stayed here for 1 evening as we had an early morning train. It was a little tricky finding the hotel- it’s in a large building that hosts many hotels. They are located on floors 19-25. It’s super convenient to the train station, about 10-15 min walk depending if you have a lot of luggage (across the large square outside the train station and through the underground passage). From the train station, the path is well marked and easy to follow. It’s also well lit at night. While there are plenty of restaurants around this area / hotel, we opted to go downtown for dinner, which was about 5 stops to the heart of the shopping/ eating area of Guiyang. The staff at the hotel were really helpful. Check-in was smooth and fast. At some point on our trip I lost my sun hoodie. They were incredibly helpful by checking their CCTV footage to see if I had brought it to the lobby and left it there by accident as I retraced where I had been. The room itself was really large and comfortable. Overall, for a 1 night stay, if you need to be close to the train station, you’re doing things more on the outskirts of downtown, or if you prefer to stay outside of the city to save a little bit of money, this is a good option.

Very close to the train station, worth the 4 stars for the room. Breakfast little disappointing, but had a fresh coffee machine to make up for it. Will stay again.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is good, very near the Guiyangbei Railway Station. They provide pick up and despatch service. The pick-up service is in the afternoon while the despatch service is in the morning. If you miss their time slot, do not fret. There is an underground passage from the Guiyangbei Railway Station to Metropolo Jinjiang Hotel. There is a self-service launderette. There are many eateries in the area.

Overall an Ok hotel if one needs to stay very close to the GuiyangBei train station. It also has excellent staff. Rooms are clean and functional, but not on par with the cost charged. Note that to walk to the hotel from the station, one has to cross the square (under blazing hot sun), carry their heavy luggage downstairs to the underground passage, then carry it up - there are no escallators or elevators. Also, finding the correct building is an adventure on its own - the hotel is located on the 19th floor of one of the few similarly looking buildings on same street. After taking an aged "atmospheric" elevator to the 19th floor, you finally enter the proper looking lobby of the hotel. The best part of the hotel is its staff. They tried their best to accommodate, used phone translator when necessary and even provided complementary ride to station on check-out.

Strategic location. Room is huge and clean.

Room is clean and spacious. Hotel is difficult to find as there are numerous hotelier within the same building . Lots of eateries and shops near the hotel vicinity .
