The location of the hotel can overlook the landscape of Yulong River. It is in Shili Gallery. The decoration of the room is simple and clean. Just like the photos, the room does not have much decoration, because the scenery outside the window is the best decoration. There is a sauna room in the homestay, which needs to be warmed up half an hour in advance. The front desk is friendly and polite. There is a free taxi service to West Street once a day. It is very lively there, so you can go and feel the atmosphere. Downstairs of the B&B is a walking trail bathing the Yulong River. If you like it, you can go for a run and do morning exercises. It is also very fun. Walk along the walking path for 10-15 minutes to reach the nearest bamboo raft pier, Shuierdi. The section to the comprehensive pier costs $200/2 people per raft. It takes about 50 minutes to float, which is quite fun. Next to the B&B, there is a farmhouse restaurant called Boiled Chicken, green vegetables, stuffed with snails, and the chicken is slaughtered fresh. It feels really rural! I highly recommend this homestay.

Amazing stay at the hotel, highly recommended! Staff were friendly and approachable, rooms were cozy and clean, service was prompt and efficient! Views in the area were stunning as well. Free shuttle to 西街 made it really convenient too, otherwise can also rent a scooter to explore the area. Special shoutout to 小薇，小顾，勤勤 for their help throughout. They were really patient with us and always checking in on WeChat if we needed anything. Really prompt and willing to help us with almost all our requests - giving us information on certain attractions when needed, helping us book the van/buggy between locations, giving us dessert, checking in on us throughout. Loved our stay here and would return back if ever in the area again. Price is on the higher end but for whatever is provided, you won't regret it one bit, it's worth every single dollar!

This hotel is simply amazing. Location is great . Service is amazing 24/7 response staff are available to help you with anything you need . Very convenient for a weekend away with friends or family. Breath taking views that makes you wish you stay longer! Our host, Xiao Hong (小红) made sure we were well accommodated. We made pick up reservations which were free, 3 excursions outside the resort including the Li River tour, cable car to the glass bridge, and the popular show Impression of Liu SanJie. On the day of departure, a cab for about $50USD. All which Xiao Hong helped us book, and payment could be made to her via WeChat. The last day we spent enjoying the resort and taking photos, which honestly do not do the location justice. The area is amazing, and views are immaculate. Next time I’m in the area again, this is the place I’m staying.

This whole area is breathtaking, when I arrived at the homestay the gentleman helped me with my luggage. When I got to my room the room was so cool and it matched the pictures. The communication was above excellent, they responded immediately and were very helpful in everything I needed. This is my new getaway gem, as I’ll be doing a lot more of solo trips. The breakfast was only Chinese cuisine it would be nice to have a wider variety. The rooms also have thin walls, you could literally hear everything that’s happening in the next room

I recently stayed at a hotel lovely hotel in the mountains and I must say, I was super satisfied with my experience. The hotel was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with stunning views of the surrounding mountainous landscape, also very easy to access (around 18 yuan did ride), plus you can rent scooters or walk very safe. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure all of my needs were attended to, specially my fairy sister Mini 🌹🩷 she is so smart and helpful and her English is very good, the other ladies of reception also very helpful and friendly, they are good people and treat the guests as friends or family, any questions or demand they will support you their best. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious! I especially enjoyed the afternoon tea 🍵 it’s so kind from them to prepare some treats and drinks in the afternoon for free when you return from the day. In general fantastic and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway. I left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed, and I can't wait to come back again in the future. Unexpectedly, I found a treasure! 🚗Looking out from the room is Guilin’s landscape, like an ink painting🖼, it’s eye-catching and beautiful. The transportation is also convenient, with many surrounding scenic spots, such as Gunan Gate, Ronghu Lake Scenic Area, Sun and Moon Twin Towers, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, you can reach it by walking or taking a few bus stops🚶♀️, making it convenient to travel. 💗The service is warm and considerate, helping to carry luggage, and giving welcome coffee and good night desserts. When we are tired, we go back to the room and end the wonderful day with desserts! Cozy 🏠The room is spacious and comfortable. The new Chinese style design is simple, elegant and full of charm. The little gift is full of ritual feeling, and the comb is too exquisite! 📙There is a book bar and tea room on the fourth floor. When it is empty, you can come up to enjoy the mountain view and enjoy tea🍵It is really relaxing! Falling asleep with the moonlight and mountains and rivers at night, and waking up with the singing of birds and the fragrance of flowers in the morning, this experience is simply yyds! I have always liked the retro and antique feeling. This store completely meets my expectations. The hygiene is better than many hotels. It is really comfortable to stay in. The photos taken in the hotel are really good! ! ! ! Friends asked me where I went. There is also a large hot spring in the room. It is really comfortable. The staff in the store are very nice and patiently recommend travel routes to me. By the way, the store also provides free guides for guests. I would not have made a guide if I had known it earlier. It is very convenient. It is very close to Qianguqing and it is very convenient to travel.

We had a fantastic stay at the Sugar Hotel for three days. The place is just amazing with the setting in an old sugar factory next to the Li river, especially the lights in the evening creates a warm and romantic atmosphere. We could even see the stars! During the day time we enjoyed the bamboo raft trip, the taichi class, the delicious food at the restaurant (my favourites were the Li River shrimps & the Thaistyle steamed sea bass) and the large buffet breakfast catering for both Western and Chinese. Outstanding was the massage in the Spa which made me leg pain which I had had for several weeks disappear. The entire team is very friendly & kind. Manager Cindy was especially helpful throughout our entire stay e.g. supporting us with the online checkin for our return flight to Beijing as well as asking her colleague Lucy to give me a tour of other room options after we couldn’t sleep that well due to the street noise in the first night (especially lorries). We finally remained in our room and slept well the other nights, but if you are sensible for noise you might want to bring you earplugs just in case or inform the front desk upon arrival. Altogether we can fully recommend the stay at the Sugar House. It is a unique experience!
