Absolutely loved this hotel! I thought the pictures looked a bit too good to be true for the price, but the rooms look exactly like the pictures. My friend and I booked a twin city view room to share, but upon arrival we loved it so much we changed to 2 separate queen bed, river view rooms. The service was amazing, staff spoke English and were very helpful with us changing our booking. Breakfast was delicious, the spa is amazing and I even bought some of their spa oils to take home (spa oils and eye masks are provided complimentary in the rooms). Drinks in the mini bar are also free and refilled every day. Close to everything you want to see. Hotel even arranged a car for us to go to the rice terraces. Waimai is also delivered straight to your room. Perfect, will definitely stay here again.

Right across from Elephant Park Scenic Area. The manager Alice speaks English and was very helpful. I got upgraded to a room with a view, which was very nice. I also bought the “extras package” which included a fruit plate, drinks, and a 1 1/2 hour visit to the park with a photographer. He doesn’t get paid by the hotel, but you can choose 5 photos free and then pay 20 rmb for the other ones you like. He knows all the angles and places, although I wish I had more time in the park just on my own. Breakfast is good, with DIY noodles and everything you would expect. The room was clean and spacious. I came in too late for the pick up service, but was given 50 rmb of my 100 rmb fare reimbursed. There is a nice rooftop bar on top! I would recommend for sure. Especially if you are just there for the night.

The hotel is located by the beautiful Rong Lake, with a superior geographical location. You can enjoy the scenery at any time. The hotel has complete supporting facilities, the lobby and restaurant are elegant and chic, the guest rooms are clean and sanitary, and the service is particularly thoughtful, especially the receptionist Meng Yan at the front desk. She is beautiful and kind, and her warm and thoughtful service made us feel at home. Next time we come, we will stay at Guilin Hotel again. It is cheap and good quality, and it is worth it!

The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic! It is right across the Elephant Trunk Hill and you can get nice view from the balcony of their restaurant on the sixth floor. We booked a dinner there and the food was excellent! We also enjoyed the beautiful day and night views of the river and Elephant Trunk Hill while having our dinner. The late summer breeze makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend it!

The hotel's appearance is indeed grand and beautiful. It has large columns, shiny chandeliers and a huge hall fit for taking a great Instagram photo. The front desk staff welcomed us and quickly checked us in. Our room looked just like the photos, although I think I would have loved a room on the 8th floor more because it seems to have a patio. The rooms were clean but the room for the toilet could do with some dusting. There is an ironing board and iron in the room as well as teabags and a kettle. The location is great to ride a scooter bike to go see the Sun and Moon towers- it takes about 15minutes of riding to get there. You can also ride to see Ronghu Mansion in about 12 minutes. The hotel can arrange private tours or assist you to get on tour groups to see Longji and Yangshuo. We didn't use those options so we took a train from Guilin West railway station to Yangshuo. The ride to the railway station from the hotel took about 30 minutes and from the railway to Yangshuo railway, only 22 minutes at 78¥( in the Business class cabin). Guilin railway station is much closer to the hotel though. We had our laundry done but ensure that you indicate the items you want to get washed because if they do it for you there might be miscalculation which you might have to accept. There was a good variety for breakfast here as well. The dining hall overlooks the swimming pool. It would have been nice to have breakfast or drinks by the pool but they seem to close the pool a bit early and we aren't really allowed to take food outside of the restaurant but it was a good staycation. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay here again. I would definitely stay here again

When I got to the room, I found that the toilet smelled very strong. I immediately went downstairs and asked the front desk to change my room. Xiaomeng at the front desk was very nice and helped me change my room right away. The room has window screens to prevent mosquitoes, and a robot can deliver takeaways to your door. For the price, the overall price/performance ratio is good.

Location - Be mindful that there is more than one HomePlusInn, we accidentally went to the wrong one. This location is not in the city centre. There is a short 20 minute taxi ride away from the ”downtown” area. The reason we chose this hotel was because of its convenient location near the Guilin train station. I think it only took us around 8 minutes to get there by foot. Cleanliness - It was acceptable. The bedding seemed relatively new however I could smell cigarettes in the hallways and lift area. Service - I was impressed by the free breakfast provided in the morning. There was a huge variety, including congee, noodles, buns, and other Chinese dishes offered. We were all full and satisfied after the breakfast! Facilities - Very basic amenities were provided. They did not provide bath and shower gel. The TV had poor quality.

It’s great that I can park for free when traveling by car with my friends. I also upgraded the room type for free. There are bathrobes and disinfected slippers, especially the slippers, which makes me feel super at ease! Very emotional small courtyard, next to it seems to be a community, the environment is not very clean. But the small courtyard is clean and tidy. 房子是大套2的，房東熱情，還貼心給我們放了水果 很感謝！有消毒碗櫃是最難得的。家裡床上用品等物品很乾凈。出門就是菜市場和水果店。小區外大路公交可乘23路到象鼻山公園。一路車可轉22路公交車到桂林西站。一路公交車還可以到桂林站，總的很方便。下次如果路過桂林會再次入住的。
