Not bad for the price. Some of the details noticed where that the bed looked unfinished when first entered the room and water on the shower stays in the floor around the toilet which makes it very inconvenient. The alley outside the hotel looks a little sketchy but besides that the location is ok, near canton tower and accesible. Receptionist was kind and could speak english which made it easier.

Clean & location strategic. Nice view from the hotel. The cleaner are very responsible as I mistakenly turn on do not disturb button, then she waited me until evening back to hotel & ask do I need service to clean my room.

The hotel is located within 4-5 mins (350 meters) walking distance to subway, quite convenient but a little far for those who lazy walking like me. 😄 Hotel is newly renovated and have all amenities you want, only one thing disadvantage for me there’s no rinsing spray in toilet. But very clean and the room has enough space to put two huge luggages. Breakfast is delicious. American and Chinese styles. The service is great, the reception may not speak English well but willing to help, my flight is overnight and I need to check-in early morning, staff helps us all. Next time we visit here will come back again.

The room was big and comfortable. Big bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The water pressure is very bad in the shower. Cleanliness in the room was OK but can be improved. There was a lot of built up dirt, hair and dust in the corners of the room and in the bathroom. A more thorough cleaning of the room should be done more often. The location is good, it’s right across from a big beautiful park and in walking distance from many bars and restaurants. For westeners who like steak/burgers I would recommend walking across the park, to the south gate, and then go into the round square called “Central Park-view” and find the restaurant Bistro 63. Also very easy to get a taxi outside the hotel and it’s cheap to go pretty much anywhere. 1-5€ will take you to most popular places around the city. The staff does not speak ANY English. Not even in the reception. But they use a translator app efficiently. The brekfast is very small and 99% Chinese even though they listed it as Western/Chinese. The only western breakfast we found was white bread (but no butter) and a yoghurt. That’s pretty much it. We chose to eat breakfast elsewhere most days.

I rate it as a traveller visiting Canton Fair. It is convenient to walk to Canton Fair as car traffic is bad and metro is squeezy during peak hours. The walking distance is around 10~15mins only along the river. The hotel staff is very nice to provide some breakfast during the Canton Fair period. The hotel is clean, and reception staff is friendly. Not much amenities but worth the price in my opinion.

The hotel is very close to the subway station, the room is small but clean, fragrant. The equipment is not perfect, but it is very good. If I have a chance to go on a business trip, I will choose this hotel again. Although I was a bit bothered because the check-out time was at 14:00, when I went out and comeback before 11am, the room was locked and I couldn't enter, then I was packing before 13:00 when the service guys came in to claim the room. I think the hotel should review for better service.

The guesthouse did not look like any of the pictures. It was very overpriced for what was offered. It is in a nice location. Try the Dim Sum restaurant outside of the building or the North Western Chinese noodle restaurant. If the apartment was cheaper, it would have been good value.

Pros: 1. Friendly and helpful front desk available 24/7. 2. Close to subway line 3, can go straight to the airport. 3. Plenty of good restaurants and convenience stores nearby. 4. Have a large refrigerator which is kinda rare for hotels in the price range. Cons: 1. Hardwares are quite, well, let's say, need more maintenance. The lock for restroom is broke (double bed room so I guess doesn't matter), the refrigerator looks quite dirty from outside (quite clean from inside though), and the pillow on the chair has a huge hole on it. 2. A little bit noisy. You can here people walking outside even at 3 am. Would recommend it if you can get it with a decent price. (I booked it with ¥206). Probably one of the best affordable hotels in this price range.
