ROOMME International Apartment

The first room assigned to us was in a really bad condition. At first glance, the furniture were all really old and run down with misaligned cabinet doors. The room's floor had very obvious stains/water marks when the ceiling lights were turned on. The toilet was dirty with mould stains in every crack and corners. Metal racks were rusty as well. Tiny cockroaches could be seen running around the whole apartment and toilet. The washing machine had broken handles on the door, inside were wet, mouldy and reeking stench that tiny bugs were seen crawling all over the rubbers in contract with the door. It couldn't even be switched on. Microwave looked dirty and not to my surprise, doesn't work as well. Equally not an surprised was the fridge was for display too, none of the listed amenities works. I proceed down to the counter to seek assistance and enquired if changing to another room was possible. The staff were really helpful and personally brought me up to take a look at the other available room before proceeding to make a room exchange for me. Second room was in similar condition as the first, only with working washer, fridge and microwave. The hygiene level didn't made us feel it's safe enough to use though. Yes, this room still has cockroaches running about. Water boiler had a thick burnt crust on the inner bottom (didn't manage to get a photo of it), and after the staff cleaned it with vinegar, it still had an obvious stain mark. Main door was chipped off on the side, leaving a gaping hole when the door was fully closed. Doesn't exactly feels safe. After the first night, our body had some red rashes showing. Booked for 5 nights (sgd 100++/night), and we moved to stay in another hotel after the second night. Overall, not recommended. Especially if you're choosing this hotel for the listed amenities.
