The 495 yuan room was not as good as a small hotel. The sheets and pillowcases were stale, and the service at the front desk was poor. The door to the room was full of sheets, quilt covers, and pillowcases. It was the first time I felt sick about staying in a hotel.

Although the front desk upgraded the room type, I really can't give it a five-star rating. There was a strange smell as soon as you entered the door, and there was no soundproofing at all. The big brother next door was very noisy and was watching TV loudly in the early morning. There is also a window that cannot be covered that lets in light. The facilities are very old and it feels like we are still living in the last century. Sorry, I underestimated how bad the accommodation in Guangzhou could be with 200 yuan. Make good money and won’t live there next time.
