Mercure Guangzhou Beijing Road Pedestrian Street Hotel

Location is very good, right in the middle of Beijing Road. Very accessible though no pick-up or drop-off point, meaning one has to board or alight along the road near to the hotel which is not an issue unless it rains. Luckily no rain during our stay. Room has most amenities though no bathing robes provided. As hotel is beside 24/7 McDonald's outlet, noticed homeless people stayed overnight at McDonald's outlet and a few went to the lobby area, with no presence of security guards preventing them from entering. Saw one spitting several times on the lobby floor while two others acted suspiciously near the luggage area in the hotel lobby. Although nothing happened, I don't think any hotel guests like this especially without any security guards preventing them from entering. The 3 homeless guys left only after I stared back at them and we walked away as one kept staring at us for noticing their suspicious behaviour.

This is one of the best hotel we stayed in Guangzhou, it’s our 3rd visit this year but only know of this hotel thru a friend for this trip. Would definitely recommended everyone to stay here. Excellent location, friendly staff and lots of good food around the area. Breakfast was good, mixture of eastern and western spread.

Very convenient to travel if you stay at this hotel. You will be surrounded by all restaurants, convenient stores and a mall :) hotel staffs are helpful and nice

The hotel rooms I booked were for an additional stay subsequent to a delay in flight from my earlier tour in another province. The four rooms I booked were nicely furnished with an exceptionally big TV. They were similar to the Mercure in Guizhou province where the TV is exceptionally big and better still there, was with voice controlled facilities for the room's operation. Location was super convenient. You go down to street level and it is the pedestrian mall waiting for you to roam the street. A good choice and what a relieve for our family's additional stay subsequent to a delay in flight, which we really hope to recover from.

The location is perfect. Service is great. Room is very clean and comfortable. We’ll stay here again if we visit GZ next time.

Excellent experience at the Mercure hotel! Conveniently located amidst many amazing food spots. Loved every bit of my stay.
