The service was extremely professional right from the get-go. The general manager was on top of her game and made sure we were comfortable and escorted to our room without any problem. The room was magnificent and accommodating for a family of 5. Every vanities were working and we did not have to ring the desk for any additional services. The team was exceptionally attentive, friendly and professional. They spoke in French, English and Creole which again showed how professional their team were. I did not have the chance to taste the food due to the reception ceremony I was attending. The only issue I had was the location of the table tennis. I would suggest either moving it indoor or moving it to a less windy area of the hotel; the wind made it very difficult to have a good game. Overall, I would rate Casa Florida a 5/5 and will stay there again next time I visit Mauritius. Memorable and a true Mauritian experience.

My experience at this small guest house was beyond disappointing and hardly qualifies as a resort. It was the worst accommodation I've ever encountered. I had booked it for my birthday, paying in full for two days. Upon arrival, we were shown to a small windowless room, despite being two adults and my daughter. The room was a mess and without bedsheet and pillows, and when I asked for cutlery to cut my birthday cake in my room, the owner rudely refused, insisting I use their poorly decorated restaurant. This made me feel unwelcome and insignificant. Later that evening, we skipped dinner due to the unpleasant atmosphere created by the owner. Feeling uneasy and disappointed, I decided to leave in the middle of the night and requested a refund. However, instead of cooperating, the owner insulted me, shouting and humiliating me in front of my daughter. It was a traumatic experience. Despite my requests, she adamantly refused any refund, treating me disrespectfully throughout. I strongly advise against spending your money at this place. The owner's behavior was rude, disrespectful, and exhibited a poor colonial mentality. She demonstrated a complete lack of respect for customers, making my stay unbearable. This experience was so distressing that I urge others to avoid subjecting themselves or their families to such treatment.

Once a year, we always make it a point to visit Mauricia, and every time, it feels like coming home. The rooms are great, especially the fully equipped kitchen, which is better than hotel apartments in Europe, Australia, and South America. It is especially suitable for Chinese cuisine. The supermarket is next door. There are tofu, pepper, seafood, and meat. These ingredients are super good. It feels like a kid, it feels great. The people here are relatively prosperous, the people live a leisurely life, the common people play football next to them, and swim and chat by the sea. The climate is very good, much more comfortable than Australia and Thailand, not hot. The plants are lush, sitting on the balcony at night, and the breeze is blowing slowly. It was awesome! The villa is so beautiful. I stayed with my friends in B 18 and i can say that it is breath taking. It is spotlessly clean and the staffs were amazing and very helpful. A big thanks to Mr Kunal. I definitely recommend this place and I would happily visit again.
