Best thing about this hotel is definitely the indoor saltwater swimming pool on the 3rd floor which is large and sits under a beautiful roof of heavy wooden beams and glass panels. There’s also a lovely sun deck on the 4th floor. Otherwise it’s centrally located, near the beach and in the quiet pedestrianised area on the edge of the historic district so very convenient for bars and restaurants. Breakfast is unremarkable but charmingly they label a reserved table for your stay with your name and a greeting in your native language. Some rooms have balconies although there’s no sea view. Corridors recently decorated but our room’s decor was a little tired here and there and bathroom was small (plenty of space in room however). Double bed was two singles zipped together so a bit annoying but very comfortable. Large gap under bedroom doors mean little soundproofing with corridor but not a big problem as it’s generally a quiet place. Lounge/bar area is rather staid but there are lots of livelier places a short walk away. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay as usual. It’s very clean and everyone is very welcoming. We hope to come again next year. The breakfast is very nice and varied and they try very hard considering the current COVID situation. All in all definitely worth a visit.

Hotel in una posizione ottima , vicinissimo al mare; Il nostro week end e stato ottimo, camere grandi con bagno/ doccia e finestra... Personale gentile e pronto ad aiutarti su qualsiasi situazione.. Colazione abbondante e molto varia sia salato che dolce.. Poi abbiamo usato le biciclette ( gratuitamente)per visitare più velocemente la citta bellissa cittadina accogliente e molto carina...Ci ritorneremo sicuramente...

Ci siamo stati per pochi giorni. Ben posizionato nella cittadina di Grado, torna anche comodo per il passeggio serale. Le camere sono di buona qualità, ed il cibo all'altezza. La distanza dai lidi è ragionevole. Riteniamo di ritornarci in un prossimo futuro.

Wir waren das erste Mal im Hotel Abbazia. Einfache sehr saubere Zimmer. Leider waren die Matratzen extrem hart. Die Bettwäsche und Polster keine gute Qualität. Das Zimmer 116 ist extrem dunkel und sehr klein. Selbst für eine Person. Duschgel und die Bodylotion gab es nur am Ankunftstag. Keine Abschminktücher, kein Vergrößerungsspiegel und der Fön aus dem Jahre Schnee. (Schlauch) Lobenswert war das Frühstücksbuffet, wobei man ständig im Durchzug sitzt. Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht. Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage aber 4 Sterne sind unserer Meinung nach, doch um einen zuviel.
