We loved the place and greatly enjoyed our stay in this little gem. This is a boutique hotel full of charm, stylish and cozy at the same time. Excellent quality price ratio in a city where accommodation is quite expensive. Our room under the roof was super spacious, lovely decorated and very neat (spotless!). Super comfy bed. The bathroom is spacious as well and the bath is huge. We were very happy to see there is a Nespresso coffee machine in the room. It is a real plus and an important detail to me. The location is less than 10 minutes walking distance from the train station. Number 1 tram stops right across the street and can get you to the city center. The hotel is also at walking distance to the historic center of Ghent (20-25 minutes), one can enjoy a nice walk along the river all the way to the center. I also liked the concept of honesty bar. Something we don’t come across often these days. Nice to feel the owner trusts his clients and is not all about making money. Only negative point for me was the transparent glass door to the bathroom.I don’t understand this concept even when in couple. And if you travel with a friend or a family member it gets uncomfortable and awkward… I would suggest to apply an opaque or frosty window film to allow full privacy in the bathroom. It’s an easy fix. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back when going back to Ghent! It will be at the top of my list.

We stayed at The Hamptons for three nights. It is very tastefully decorated and furnished with attention to detail, which is also reflected in the breakfast room. The breakfast was small but delicious. The host, Karl, was very friendly and personable. We parked the car in the B&B's underground garage (for a fee), which was very practical and convenient. The old town is a 20-minute walk away. The location was ideal for us. The only negative for us was that the bathroom and toilet were only separated from the bedroom by a glass door. That's not our style. Otherwise, everything was excellent; we definitely recommend it!

A beautiful B&B in a former manor house, run by a very friendly and accommodating host. 5 minutes from St. Pieters train station, 5 minutes from the beautiful Citadel Park, and about 20 minutes from the Old Town. A very nice, large room (a deluxe room on the first floor with a view of the garden—therefore very quiet), tastefully furnished (country house style) without unnecessary frills, very well-maintained and clean, with a large bathroom, shower, two sinks with more than adequate counter space, and a toilet—I found the floor tiles very stylish! Good amenities: air conditioning, safe, Nespresso machine, kettle, hairdryer, excellent body products, fast internet, and a very well-stocked minibar. I slept wonderfully in the large bed (2m x 2m?)—like sleeping on a cloud. The excellent breakfast with freshly prepared fruit salad, delicious yogurt, jams, various cheeses, sausage and ham, baked/boiled eggs on request, and not to forget the delicious bread and excellent croissants, perfectly round off your stay. In the breakfast room, you can also browse beautiful illustrated books on various topics.

Very nice establishment, well located, super professional and warm welcome at the same time. The rooms are spacious, the bedding is incredible and the breakfast magnificent! The floor is a little noisy and you can sometimes hear the neighbors walking, but it's not annoying. I recommend !

Very positive experience. Smooth check-in, parking just around the corner, nice spacious room with a fridge. Breakfast was super delicious and fresh. Fruit juice, fruits, different kinds of bread . In short, a must and also within walking distance of the center.
