We booked via ******* and immediately very happy with the room which we shared with 2 adults and 2 children. 2 big beds, plus a sofa bed, 2nd dressing room and nice size bathroom. We booked via ******* and did have an issue where ******* did not transfer the money to the hotel (not the hotel’s fault at all) however… one small issue we did have was with breakfast not showing on our reservation on the hotels side. But on our paperwork it was showing. It was a bit disappointing that we had to argue the facts for a couple of hours, later to just pay for the breakfasts - even more so when we found out breakfast was only €5pp. That being said, extremely happy with everything else.

I booked a reservation and cancelled a week before. THe cancellation policy said that there would be a 30% of the charge. I was charged the full amount. THis is not what the policy says.: If you cancel this booking within less than 0 days, a penalty equal to the 30% of the reservation amount will be applied.

A fantastic location in the center of Genova - one block from the duomo. You can't ask for better. The hotel occupies half the fourth floor of an historic building. Some rooms face toward the town (our toward the duomo), other toward the highway and port. Those facing the town are quieter, of course. The rooms are clean and functional, perhaps a little old and basic, but that is not a criticism. Breakfast is what you would expect - but as such good. Espresso (not cappuccino) available on request.

Perfect location, at the head of Via San Lorenzo on the port side, to visit Genoa on foot. Opposite is an outdoor paid car park, the aquarium about fifty meters away, at the foot of medieval Genoa, Via Garibaldi ten minutes away on foot. Typical restaurants and trattorias close at hand; in short, an ideal situation. The guest house is on the fourth floor of an ancient building, with a lift. The breakfast room is very elegant (buffet breakfast more than sufficient), the room ('Santa Barbara') and the bathroom are a little narrow but still comfortable. The staff is always present and very helpful.

Historic building in the center, convenient for visiting both the historic center and the ancient port area on foot. It's a shame that the area is very frequented by so many unrecommended people and several arrests took place even in broad daylight. Even at night it is difficult to fall asleep due to the noise of the people below in the square and the police sirens! It's really a shame! The building is very well kept, the breakfast room is beautiful. Very large rooms with a tiny bathroom, you can't even open the shower door.

A nice experience for just one night for New Year's Eve. Great willingness of the managers to solve every little problem, excellent location in front of the ancient port, the aquarium and a few steps from the historic center of Genoa. The room for the abundant breakfast is very beautiful. We will certainly return as soon as we have the opportunity to visit what we have not yet seen in Genoa.
